The dreaded crane

So the last two trips that I have been to Disney world the crane at MK has been up the entire time. We even have gone at different times. Now we are going next week and we are hearing reports that the crane is up again! What are the chances that the crane will be up the entire time?

I have never seen it up all the time, they lower it for the night time & fireworks.
If you are meaning will it be there the entire time of your trip next week then the answer will probably be yes.

I think they should decorate the crane like a huge Pete's dragon.

I LOVE that idea!!! And they can charge a ridiculous amount of money to view it!!!

I just got back last night and the crane is surely there but it's "up" for a period of time and then it's tucked away behind the castle. I was able to get pictures of both. These pictures were from Aug 12-15 but I was there last on Saturday Aug 20 and the crane was still there. You can see the crane tucked away to the right of the castle, then a shot from behind the castle you can see the wall and the tail end of the white crane, and finally a shot from a boat on my way to Fort Wilderness.
