Oh Pam, I just couldn't believe that everyone was so busy being mothy on the thread while I was gone. As for dinner, I am home alone tonight. DD is going to church lock in with a friend. I keep calling it a lock down. DS is going out with GF and DH is at a weekend retreat at church. I will be here trying to figure what to do. May call a girlfriend to see what she is doing.

I like my steak medium rare. What time are you serving dinner?

DD just turned 17 and is a junior in HS. DS is fourteen and in 8th grade.

"I'll Be Home For Christmas" is my favorite non-traditional Christmas song, along with "I Wonder As I Wander." I think it's great you're getting home for the holidays, Bonnie!!

What is everyone's kids dressing up for Halloween? DD has to march with the Band in the parade (she's in the dance line.) She's going as a Ladybug in honor of her friend who died in Feb. DH has a big old rubber mask with hair and beard and sort of looks like the guy from The Lord of the Rings, so he'll rig something up for that.

I just quit dressing up 2 years ago. I'm 41 and when the kids started to just do the town parade, I had to hang up my costumes.

Dinner will be served at 7:30 pm - kind of late - but I have to wait for the conquering hunters to return!! DH likes him steak medium rare, too. DS, DD, and I prefer ours well done!!

DD is having dinner with her BF - his Mom cooks from scratch. I cook on Kama's level!!

Oh - on the tests, I'm a ghost (?) and my aura is Crystal.

Just came back from the cider mill and pumpkin patch!!!! Dreary day here, but it was still fun. I'm very thankful Emily didn't get scared and stuck in the haunted hay maze. I was not looking forward to going in after her!!!

Bonnie, I feel wormly for you too.... Uh.... could you and Jodie stop stomping so hard on the table....your shaking the whole cottage!!!

Well off to decorate my room....hey...how many rooms does this place have anyway? Do we have to buddy up with a roommate?

My eldest is going trick or treating as Buzz Lightyear and my youngest is going as Woody. I lost my mind one day at the Disney Store and spent nearly $100.00 on costumes. At least they will have them for dress up afterwards.

Pam what are the guys hunting for?? Deer?? I LOVE venison sausage but I just cant get it down here. One of my ex-coworkers brought some in one day and it was soooooooo good. Once I got past it being Bambi meat ROFL

The costumes sound adorable. We used to shell out a lot for costumes when my two were younger. It was worth every penny. My SIL is a very talented seamstress and she made most of them.

Yes, the guys are out deer hunting. They love deer meat, DD won't touch it and I'll eat it. It definitely cuts down the the grocery bill as my two guys are big meat carnivores!! We don't do the meat sausage but DH makes deer jerky and sends some of the meat out to be processed into deer sticks. DS gets his hides tanned and uses them to display his Boy Scout activity patches. He also got inducted into the Order of the Arrow this past summer, which is the BSA honor society for campers. He is having some of his hides made into a deerskin shirt and leggings for OA events.

DS and his GF are going to a party as Mickey and Minnie Mouse. His GF would love to be an animator for Disney someday. My DD wants to be Hula Barbie. We bought a grass skirt and accessories last year when we stayed at the POLY. She is having some friends over halloween night and they are going to hang out in basement. And what you ask do I dress up as. Well, I either dress as a witch or the mean queen from Snow White. I just love carrying the mirror and Saying "mirror mirror on the wall........"

I Wonder as I Wander is one of the most beautiful songs. I remember singing it in high school chorus. Very good taste Pam.

Karen, your room has pink flamingos wearing reading glasses. There is a crock pot in your room so that you can make us Macaroni and Cheese. Next to your bed are pictures of your family. They are such a beautiful family. That is as far as I have gotten in such a short time. Do you have any suggestions?

Just in case you all are wondering what my room looks like. I don't have one. I am going to take turns spending a night in everyone's room. Well except for Jay's. One must be very careful about one's reputation. I love new and different experiences.
