Wow, I love that castle too!! Ah, how nice it would be to have $37k to drop on that baby. Very nice pictures and update!

The food at Nine Dragons sounds yummy.
I had pretty low expectations for Nine Dragons since I had read so many unflattering reveiws, but it was really pretty good!
I think I'll tell Don that I want that castle for Valentine's Day..........
Ah, it's the money. I understand completely! It's not stupid at all, I sometimes feel the same way. I'm making it my MISSION to save our way to Disney. I have a coin jar on the kitchen counter, I do all sorts of online programs to earn extra money or gift cards, etc. then I don't feel
quite as guilty in nagging about it all.

However, it's not so bad for me because I know Joe wants to go just as badly!
I need Joe to have a little talk with Don, convince him it's where we need to vacation!

Our next vacation will be for him, he wants to go to DC. Not sure if we'll be able to swing it this year, so it will probably next. Then we want to take the boys to Hawaii. Not sure when I'll get another Disney trip - what I need is enough money to do both a Disney and a non Disney vacation, so a winning powerball ticket would be nice!
And this one made me laugh out loud! Love his expression!!!
He can be such a goofball sometimes!
Those acrobats look amazing! I'm going to mark that down as a "must do" for our future trip.
The acrobats were great!
I know a little girl that is going to be spoiled rotten before she even arrives!
No doubt about it!
My nephew is the same age as Justin, and I know exactly what you are going through! I am having a hard time imagining Will heading off to high school -- I swear it was only yesterday that we were headed down to Atlanta to the Olympics with him in a stroller. My SIL is having an even harder time dealing with it, and I have a sinking suspicion that I will be just as bad next year when it is Chelsea trying to figure out all this high school registration stuff.
I'm such a sap, yesterday I was looking through my old scrapbooks when he was a baby - didn't help the situation at all!
Oh, I can be totally honest here without hurting your feelings. I think the teacher is being completely unwarranted with her "punishment." Middle schoolers routinely go brain dead and do stupid things -- you would think she would be able to give the poor boy some leeway. I doubt Justin said, "The answer to # whatever is..." To the other students (if they even noticed he said anything which is iffy since middle schoolers seem to sometimes exist in their own little worlds), they probably wondered what in the world Justin was doing. Really, c'mon! If he was actually cheating, would he have said something out loud? When students cheat, they are much more subtle. Any teacher worth her salt should know this. Anyway, I would contact the teacher. Giving Justin a zero on the entire test is much too punitive, and I am not usually one to advocate this, but if she will not listen to reason, I would contact the principal and voice your concerns.
I agree with Jackie. If he had been cheating, he sure wouldn't have talking aloud! That is why I dislike those blanket, one-size-fits-all classroom rules, like "If anyone says one word during this test, they get a zero!"---I just don't think a teacher can do this, because circumstances can be different. I'm a firm believer in consistency with my rules, , but I have to use common sense as well.
I would try to speak to her about the matter, and as Jackie said, if you can't resolve the matter, speak to the principal.
Thanks ladies, I just wasn't sure if it was me looking at it through overprotective mom eyes, or if she really was being a bit unreasonable. I'm going to talk to Don and I think we'll revisit the idea of meeting with her.
On a different , but school-related, note, I completely understand about the high school thing! The other day in the hall between classes, I saw the counselor with her clipboard, talking to some of the 8th graders, and I knew what that meant. "Time to get together to plan your high school career! "
I went home and told Kevin that I just don't think Rachel is ready for HS---She's such a ditz sometimes!
Oh my gosh, Justin is the same way! Case in point, the other day he got into the car after school without his good Abercrombie hoodie. I asked him where it was and he said that it had been stolen out of his locker.

Did he forget to lock his locker?? No, but he said sometimes if you pull down hard enough on the lock they will just open. He put his hoodie in there before 5th hr and after school it was gone.

So, the next day he comes out to the car with said hoodie. I asked where he found it. Well, it seems as though between 5th & 6th hr he pulled it out of his locker and set it on the ground to get his books. He then went to class, leaving the hoodie on the ground

Thankfully, a kid in his 3rd hr recognized it as being Justin's and he picked it up and threw it in his locker and took it to him in class the next day. See, boys can be a ditz too!
It's been a while, so I am going to comment on many posts!
*I loved the haunted mansion pic you took! I was told you couldn't take pics on the ride- but most the my indoor/dark areas pics on my camera don't turn out either.
Well, the announcement I heard said no "flash" pictures. So I took some without the flash on, most didn't turn out very well though
*I like all the Santa's from the different countries in Epcot.
They were a lot of fun to listen too!
Great pictures of you guys from goofy- from the photopass pics.
Teppan Edo food looks delicious. I have been debating for a while going to this place, and after seeing your pics- I'm thinking of making it a for sure. Does it state similar to a Japanese Steakhouse?
I've never been to a Japanese Steakhouse, so I can't compare, but Teppan Edo was really good!
*I love Morocco, its probably my favorite country in Epcot. But at night, its even more amazing.
Epcot in general is beautiful at night, but your right, Morocco is even more so!
*Day 4-
*Have you done many charac breakfasts? I felt that Crystal Palace was one of the best and I love the food.
We've done Chef Mickey's, the old Donald's Breakfastasarus @ AK and Tusker House. And, I agree, CP is the best of the ones we've gone to!
*Great pics from the parade- I just love that parade because everything is sooo colorful!
It is a fun colorful parade! It just makes you happy seeing it.
*I love the little Mickey hat with the santa hood!! Do they make those for grownups?!!
I saw a few grownups wearing them!
*I have never though of taking pictures on the great movie ride! It made me want to ride it right now!! hehe
*Although, all the frozen trees and such were pretty- I don't care for this snowy weather. I am dealing with a crazy amount of snow at home and its just not me. I don't like cold weather at all. But thats for sharing the pics- it made the snowy weather look fun.. and not so cold!
I've totally had it with the cold weather - I'm ready for spring!
*Have you went to any of the other shows like Indiana Jones? Cause I'm trying to decide on which action show like that I want to go to. I know there is 1 other.. hmm can't seem to think of it.
We've done the Lights Motors Action Stunt Show, it was good to watch once. The boys enjoy it more than I do, and it gets incredibly hot in those stands!
*How is the "design your own tee" store? Is it easy? Are the prices about the same as making them online? Just curious.
I honestly can't remember how much they were, I remember that they were a little pricey. I'll dig through my stuff and see if I still have the receipt.
They were very easy to create.
*Lastly, I love all your animal friends you are getting in your room. Last time we stayed we only recieved like 2 animals the whole time and they were both the same thing. I was kind of upset.
Sometimes we've gotten them, sometimes we haven't - I think it really depends upon your mousekeeper and if she knows how to make them and how much time she has.
*Now I'm all caught up!
