OKW Room Features Couple of Quick Questions

The last time we stayed at OKW was in 2019, so I have a couple of quick questions:

1. What kind of coffee maker do they have now (we were used to drip, so wondering if they've changed to k-cups)?
2. Do the bathrooms have a lighted makeup/shaving mirror?

We are traveling with my in-laws and my MIL needs a lighted mirror.

When I was in a 1-bedroom last year, they were using a drip machine only - not a dual drip//k-cup as in some places.

Both sides of the bathroom vanities did not have a directly backlit mirror, nor the flip out lighted makeup mirrors...they only had overhead lighting directly over the mirrors. The light is pretty bright, and is very close to the mirror and just above, so for general grooming, makeup, etc it should work pretty well - but if you need an actual ring-type mirror with lighting around it facing outward...I don't think you;ll have one there.

Thanks so much for the response on this. That is kind of what I figured. I believe they refurbed those rooms last in like 2018-19, so it's been a minute. But you never know about the things like coffee makers... they can change those without much fanfare.

There was a basket of coffee and supplies, I didn’t notice how much since we have an Owner’s Locker with a Keurig and pods.

It is Joffreys and they leave you a few regular and decaf. You can always ask housekeeping for more of the type you need.

Looks like one of us will have to "give", since it seems we can only drink one kind of coffee. And since DH is VERY particular about his coffee, I'll be drinking caffeinated coffee all week.

Depending on your packing space, you could always bring your own coffee and filters. Or, you can buy coffee filters at the store in OKW...and they do sell coffee as well if you wanted to splurge. I bring my own coffee whole beans and a small electric mill and my own pack of filters - so even in rooms that have Keurigs or combo machines, I use the drip basket side as I really like freshly ground coffee and certain types of beans. It's easy for me though, because I'm just a 3 hour drive from the parks so I have no packing restrictions other than it has to fit in my car. I've gone solo to Disney and brought 5 pieces of luggage (2 suitcases filled with clothes and camera gear, cooler stuffed with food and drinks, bag of food from home, and camera bag and equipment, Sure, I end up with far more clothes than I need, and all the camera equipment even though I may only use 2 lenses - I bring so many drinks and sodas that I usually come home with 6-10 cans...but who cares when you don't have to worry about getting on planes!
