ok its starting to smell like a job site here,, dw has spent today priming the tweety yellow walls away,, now shes trying to get desert sand beige put on so she can start on the valley green trim,,, beige, 2 greens and purple,,, what a combo,,,lol,,, geuss saturday we'll start building the cabs and shelving, still gotta go get bamboo from a freinds place, she has it growing about 30 ft tall and is donating it to the cause stilll not really sure what i'm going to do around windows,, thinking along the lines of draped muslin with silk flower accents,,, but i have to see the final shelving and window box to know exactly, dw finnally found something i can help with now,, says i get to frame the posters lol isnt she sweet,, we are leavin the ceiling natural plank with a glossy polyurethne coating,, also have to come up with cabinet doors we can face out in bamboo stalking,, oh yeah,, realized last night we had forgotten the before pics,, sooo we started with the room stripped and bare, then sahe pulled the ceiling so i gotta get pics of the wood she found now....

oohhh i got to work on theroom i ended up remixing the green,, was wayyy to lime green for the room,, woulda loked good on here though,,, i was able to salvage i thogh, i rmixed it with a darker green a moss green and black to get back closer to theright color.

Hi everyone.

Well the weekend is almost here! Does anyone have exciting plans? I've been invited to a few picnics but I really want to spend the weekend relaxing and working on my WDW scrapbook album!! My DM & I are going to set up a table in my living room and scrap all day Saturday!!

Froggy, I can't wait to see pictures of the new room!!!

We recently repainted our livingroom... went with a nice, warm mocha color. LOVE IT! It's fun to paint and change the scenery!

Plans for this weekend? Well, nothing terribly exciting going on... Saturday we'll hang out at the pool. The girls have been looking forward to this weekend for a long time! That evening, DH is going to a get-together with a bunch of his college Fraternity brothers in Baltimore. That ought to be fun! Sunday we have a birthday party, and I'm going to pick up my Mom. Monday, not really sure.. probably hang out by the pool some more! LOL

We're heading out to Albuquerque at around one this afternoon for our daughter's soccer tournament. By the way, I STILL have that cute turkey song in my head, and I'll probably be singing it to myself all weekend!

I hope you get lots of scrapbooking done this weekend. I did really well with photos (getting them in albums) until the kids started school. I still took them, but they're still in the envelopes.
Now that they're digital, they're on my computer and backed up on disks. Someday!!

I LEAVE YOU LADIES ALONE FOR ONE DAY AND YA END UP ON PAGE 4??? GEES... Oh well. we made it home again got goodreports from all 3 surgeons today, had electralosis done on my new lids again,, twice,, in 2 different drs offices,, and worst part,,they used the same machine,, dr 1 brrowed dr 3's machine after he got finished using it this morning,,, not sure they knew they both intended to use it on me though..lol.. i have to admit it,, i'm a wuss i had to have a local for the treatment both times.. i might could handle it anywhere else,,, but electricity has nooo bizz any where near my eye ..lol... although i am sure it'll be nice not having whiskers on eye lids when they are through...lol... now my big ?? of the day,, even though its like after bed time and a holiday week end,,, have any of you ladies had electralosis and did you think it hurt? i admiit it hurts me, but then i am in a rather sensitive rea, might not be so bad on legs,( but i would still probably NOT have it done)

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to catch up reading all the posts I missed before picking up my DB and nephew from the airport. He's coming in from Las Vegas for DD communion party. We all haven't seen them for a while so we are all very excited!

Froggy, I have never had electrolosys so I don't know if it hurts or not. I would be intersted in laser hair removal. Has anybody had that?

Hope everyone has a safe and healthy holiday weekend. We are thinking about all of our soldiers and veterans and keeping them in our prayers.

Good Morning everyone. Froggy, no electrolysis for me, but I do have my eyebrows waxed, and yes it is painful.

I spent most of yesterday volunteering at my kid's school for fun and fitness day(more like "let's wear out Mom day"). They really had a good time. My favorite part was the tug of war. They were divided up by grade level, and then they rotated through the activities. I had hula hooping, giant slide and lastly tug of war. At the end of each "competition" we would have boys against the girls. The girls won every time . It was however all in good fun, so whenever a group lost a couple of times, myself and another mom jumped in to "help", I'm very sore today, those kids are strong.

Carole- enjoy your company, my brother visited last week, and the time went by way too fast.

Morning ladies! I just pluck my eyebrows, though I'd love to have them waxed, even if it hurts. I think it would make them look so much better. Maybe someday I'll treat myself.

Any big plans today? The pool opens here, so that's our plans! The girls are very excited. However, the temps are only supposed to get up to around 75 today.. BUMMER. For the last three weeks or so, it's been in the 80's! What's up with that? At least I won't roast sitting out there watching them!

Still waiting for my Mickey luggage to come. I read on the Budget Board where someone tried to order it and it told them it was on a 19 week backorder! I never got that message, so I'm hoping that I got one of the last sets in stock. Keep your fingers crossed!

Well, DH wants to do some yardwork before pool time, so off I go! Hopefully I won't ruin my manicure!

lol am surprised everyone seem to be leaning towards eye brows,, i had electralosis on the actual lids,, they are made from facia that was a part of my full bearded face just a few long months ago my eye lids on theright side have whiskers still. its an on going hassel they are trying to get it all off,, kept telling them theey wanted skin that wouldbnt grow hair they should get it off my head not my face..lol...funny part is th area they are stretching ow to complete the lids with is growing much more hair since they started stretching it,, i guess its wakinbg up the dormant hair folicles or something but it looks like i may have to fight the hair for a lot longer now,,lol

Good Morning All!

It is a beautiful day! Holly, I love the 75 temps! This too shall pass!

I have no desire to have my eyebrows waxed. OUCH! I think it's because I knew someone who had a bad experience with eyebrow waxing. She had terrible scabbing as a result. Not sure what went wrong, but it sure made my mind up for me!

I'm starting to pack for my Disney trip. My grandson's bag is completely packed. When we take him on vacation, I usually just go ahead and purchase all new stuff for him. (gives me an excuse) He lives in TN, so DH and I will pick up up next Saturday (14 hours round trip), and fly out from BWI the next day.
