Hi Yardbird,

I work at home one week, then I'm in the office the next week. I rotate with another person (she's at home when I'm in the office and vice versa). We both have "senior" experience in our field, so by rotating in, there is always coverage in the office if questions arise. A third person may join us by the end of the summer - then I'd only have to be in the office every 3rd week. It's a nice balance because I like everyone at the office, but I like being at home, especially on cold and snowy days when the roads are bad.

I read and analyze legal materials and cases for my job and I can "zone" in and work at home fairly well. The dog likes having me here so she can sleep at my feet!

I take peeks in at the DIS between cases. That's my incentive to get my work done all day long!

And I think you SHOULD have that ice cream for dinner tonight if you want!!

Yardbird- Thanks. Actually it's an early trip. Although I understand my husband ahs another one planned for me when I walk the stage in December. I am taking my last class right now. There is no turning back for me. Our trip was originally scheduled for July after the class was finished, but we couldn't wait that long, so now I'm having an early party!!!! However, if he wants to take me agian in December, I'm not complaining. Then I'll get in a Christmas trip too.

My 4 year old just fell in the potty. He called to be wiped and calmly told me, "I fell in." Sure enough, his hiney was wet. Kids. I have tried in vain to load a piture in my signature, and can't get it down to size. Oh, well. Have a great day, all!

JKanownik - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

dhcoffey - Have fun at the concert tomorrow. I heard they are a blast!

momof2inPA - Too bad you didn't get a picture when your little one fell in the toilet!! You could have used it for blackmail in a few years!!

Well DS is off to his sports banquet/dance. He looked so handsome. I did take pictures (but not on digital). I'll have to hurry up and get them developed so I can post! He wasn't thrilled with me taking pictures and wouldn't even smile.

He did say that if someone asked him to dance, he might dance but that no one was going to ask him so he didn't have to worry about. He even admitted to me that he was too shy to ask anyone (I love that he tells me anything). I explained that the girls were just as shy.

I was showing him how to dance and he was actually MAD because "I don't know how to dance". He said I dance like I'm out of the 50's. Hello, I won't even be 40 until July!!! I wasn't even around in the 50's!!

Anyhow he's gone until 10:30 so I'm checking out the DIS and figuring out what to have for dinner. Ice Cream sounds good to me too!

Thanks for the anniversary wishes everyone!

DH and I go by the "traditional" gift list which is cotton for the second anniversary. So, when we were in WDW last week we bought this HUGE cotton blanket made of sweatshirt material. It is navy and has an American flag with a Mickey silhouette on it and says Walt Disney World. We decided that on the 25th of each month for the next year, we are going to curl up on the couch with the blanket and watch a Disney movie. Josh picked Beauty and the Beast as our first movie (which will have to be postponed until Saturday night due to his evening classes this week ).

I really love this idea. We were having such a tough time this year with cotton. We could not think of anything. Last year was paper and Josh gave me the lyrics to my favorite song handwritten by my favorite singer. (She is not well known, so it was easy to get in contact with her.) I loved that gift so much and wanted to make this just as special. I think we did!

dhcoffey - please let us know how the Jimmy Buffet concert went. I've never been, but I've heard they're so much fun!

Well, "24" is now over. Kind of a strange ending (I won't give it away for those that haven't seen it).

Plans for today: working on the computer, running errands, and a baseball game tonight.

I was so grossed out by the ending. But it was good,anyway.

So, Froggy, your computer problems still aren't fixed?

its running agin,, but satill has a lot ofthe settings off kilter, cannot loacte my companion tool bar,, seems to be dissappeared,, but asystem claims its installed and operational and updated...lol.. all my buttons are moved in explorer, and i cant remember how to move em back yet..lol.. i had all mym tool bars compressed and now they are back to 5.5 positions, seem to have lost part of my messenger updates, had just updated both yahoo and msn both are back to old versions, but they claimed to be updated..lol..had to delete yahoo completely to get the newest so its still agravationg me,, the missing popup blocker is the one that agravates the most,, its blocking them,, but i cant finds it to reset what is allowed and what isnt
