Ugh...I would take it over talking to my mom too. She is bringing all my dads stuff up when she comes... The week I get home from DL. So we need to clean the house, and such. PLUS... This is the fun part. She wants to bring her buddy with her. WHo is a MAN. He is just her friend...BLAH BLAH BLAH. Whatever. I dont want her taking some random guy with my children to pick me up from the airport. NO THANK YOU. I told her if she brought him, Frelan could just pick me up, and we will see her on Mothers Day.

Completely blowing money on shopping, however... I'm in!

I have MAD luck at casinos... As long as my husband is no where around. By mad luck... I mean winning $40. here and there. Once.. I won like $150. That was huge, considering I am NOT a big spender. When dh is with me.. The machine will just suck my money away.

Yeah... I was not pleased, and she just couldnt figure out why? Ummmm lets think a minute here... You are coming up to bring me my dads things, and to visit the cemetery for the one year anniversary of his death... Supposed to have some one on one time with the kids, and we were going to hang out in the afternoon. I dont want any stranger in on special family time.. Much less some random guy!

I'm weirded out by BIL bringing his GF, but it sounds like they are serious and considering marriage.

I met her once, she was at least better than the last GF he brought.

We all wanted to shoot her! (MIL says in the car.. soooooooooo what do you think of ___________ and started laughing... ohhhh ok, we're not the only ones. )

I guess. She acted like we were really putting her out, because she already had plans that weekend. HELLO.. Thats why I TOLD HER!! It was an all around unpleasant conversation.

Good Morning Sweet Hyenas! Sorry I had to jump off so quickly yesterday. My neighbor came over to visit and I didn't figure it would be good manners to sit and talk to her and DIS at the same time.

Then we had a motocross awards presentation to go to last night. The weather was so nice yesterday (83!) that we really didn't want to go, but you hate to miss them because they almost always give away a brand new motorcycle, lots of motocross goodies (helmets, boots, shirts, oil, etc...). DD also won the women's high point MX Winter series, so she got a huge trophy, almost taller than she is! We ended up staying until the very end, she was the next to last trophy awarded. Didn't win anything big this time....got a hoodie, mx oil, gas vent tubing, hat, some 50% off certificates for local parts places, etc... But the best part, they provide dinner, so I didn't have to cook or do dishes!!


DH & DS got up at 4:30 this morning and went fishing. They loaded up the canoe yesterday and are headed out to Battle Ground Lake State Park. It's a really neat little lake that is part of an ancient volcano that collapsed, kind of like Crater Lake (only way, way, way smaller). They stock it with trout, so it's a nice place to take the kids because they always catch at least 2-3 fish. Although most of the time they catch their limit. So guess I'm having trout for dinner tonight. We go camping there sometimes. It's only about 20 minutes from our house, but feels like you are miles away. Lots of nice hiking trails. Yet only about 5 minutes from a town and a Fred Meyer in case you forget anything!

I had to watch the travel channel-- Samantha Brown, the new Disney favorites show. Fun to watch, she went to the parade storage for DL.. the dancers that are on the Pinocchio float actually make Gephetto's arms move when they move. It was interesting to watch and now I want to go to WDW and see some of her fave rides.

That is so not fair. I was watching that show the other day, then started Dising. DH changed the channel!!!!! I said, "HEY, I was watching that". But he apparently decided that I didn't need to be multi-tasking. Besides, he said, you've been to Disney like a bajillion times and you're talking to the Crazy Tostitos who have been there just as many times, if you want to know anything just ask them! I wasn't in the mood to argue, figured it will be on again about 200 times in the next month or so and I'll just watch the rest of it then.

let's go to Vegas next year.

Ok...following in the footsteps of Albort, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is one of our newly promoted managers up and moved to Colorado (I had a bad feeling about this one). So it is down to DH, myself, the irresponsible 19yo and our newly promoted awesome girl.

The good news, is while DH is scrambling to cover next weeks schedule (more bad news is I pick up a bunch of opens)...I asked him what about the following week. He told me no problem, that he will be fine with the three of them on the weekend. So lets just hope the rest stick around (but I have no reason to believe that they won't)

I hope everyone else stays in place so you can still come!!!

Well, we made it home yesterday about 2 finally. The kids and I are spending the weekend at my moms house because she cannot put any weight on her foor for a week. I told her after Monday I had to go home at night since Jeff works at 4am and I hate to keep getting up at 3am to come home. She should be fine. We've gotten on top of the pain and everything looks good.

Just wanted to come on this morning and say hola! thats all the spanish I know pretty much!

Does anyone know if the park hopper tickets at Safeway that are 5 days for the price of 6 are upgradable to an AP? I figured they were but I've never bought my ticket anywhere other than the park and wasnt sure if the "specials" were upgradable. I know I have to pay the difference I was just thinking I could get that out of the way so i dont have to stand in line when we get there Friday.

I guess I could get them at the disney store too. DUH.

My understanding is they are. The barcode on the back allows Disney to see exactly what you paid for them. When I went last June we purchased our tickets as part of a package thru Alaska Airlines and they were able to upgrade me to an AP and apply my purchase price.
