OMG! That is creepy!!!
I had a couple encounters with men who made me extremely uncomfortable in college. One was a guy in my dorm who was just... off somehow. One day I came back from a football game, and my new roommate said, "Oh, your boyfriend was just here looking for you, but he had to leave." I didn't have a boyfriend at the time. She described him to me, said she'd invited him into the room to wait; she said the whole time he was in the room, his eyes darted around to every object in it, as if cataloging it all in his memory. CREEPY!!!
He stalked me on campus, would just suddenly cross my path between classes or to/from meals. He finally came by to ask me out, but by then I was totally freaked out and just told him as nicely as I could that I was not interested. Then a couple of guys I knew (who knew how scared I was) paid him a visit and told him to stay away from me. Whew! He left me alone after that.
Then another year I was in the computer lab alone one afternoon. Like an idiot, I sat in the back of the room (far from the door), so people walking by wouldn't disturb me as I worked. A guy came in and sat near the door. It bothered me that we were there alone, but he was all the way on the other end of the room, right? Well, then he started making noises like he was really ticked off. THEN he started pounding on the keyboard! THEN he bashed his head repeatedly on the table!!!
CRAP! I'd have to walk right next to him to get out of the room!!!
He looked up at me as I was thinking what the **** I was going to do, and started shouting, "SHE'S AFRAID! SHE'S AFRAID!" like a freakin' robot!
I managed to pack up all my stuff and slowly walk out, and was thankful he didn't follow me. I never, ever sat in the back of the room again.
