wait a sec...

we have a daughter named Dave??
well the baby announcement said "Bartholonew James but we're calling her Dave." :confused3 She's your daugther.

Can't you just wait until it's YOUR turn to star onthe web site??? :eek:

Oh my...hurricane chicken wings for dinner and no work tomorrow...WEE

I'll dance to the no work tomorrow idea! :dance3: Are Hurricane Chix Wings like buffalo wings? Sounds interesting. I splurged on a couple of porterhouse steaks at the store today (almost 1/2 off). Oh they were yummy. I love the fillet side....yummmmmmmmm. I think they are my most fav. kind of steak. Mojito's are the drink of the day...

Went shoe shopping at DSW today (double reward points this week)! I had (2) $10 off certificates to use too. I found a very cute pair of Franco Sarto suede shoe boots for only $69. I wanted to get a pair of Uggs too - but I really couldn't think about wearing fur lined boots just yet! :goodvibes I think I will probably go back in a month or so tho as they were just too cute! I also popped into Kohl's - not that DH is really into them, but I have decided that those cargo looking pants that zip off into shorts are a fantastic idea for me to pack for both DH and DS for our trip in January. I'd already bought some for DS for school and DH only had 1 pr. - but so they still had a few pr. of mens left & they were 50% off so I got 2 more for DH. And YES! I am already thinking about packing for a trip that is 4 months away!:rotfl2: But how cool - I can pack those and if it's chilly in the am they can start out the day in pants - if it warms up we zip 'em off into shorts & then put 'em back together again for the evening!:thumbsup2 Beats the heck out of packing shorts AND pants!

I am also shopping for a new duffle bag. The more I use duffles the more I like them. We have this one great one that I took on our past couple of trips (packed flat inside DS's suitcase). I used it coming home as a hamper. It's well made, but very light...it was awesome. I'm pretty sure I got it at Kohl's 2 yrs ago but it could've been from TJ Maxx. Anyway, I bought a set of 3 on sale 50% off today at Kohl's (which I can always return if I find something better - but these were a good price). Anyway, they're still not QUITE what I want. I really want to find another Ricardo just like the one I have. I had to crack up tho - we have 2 large Ricardo suitcases - like 30" ones and one carry-on - but they're heavy EMPTY! I always weigh heavy at the airport. (The one bag weighs 16 Lbs empty which is a lot!) So I'm trying to cut back on the weight thing. I've decided the only way I can do that is to use smaller, lighter bags. But today, I found some new Ricardo's that actually had a scale built into them!! How funny is that? You fill it up & push a button & it tells you how much it weighs! they had me in mind whenever they made those!

OK Annie, if you are ready for your January trip, Im in trouble since Im no where near ready for December. At least that one is just me and I dont have to worry about the kids. And I saw you booked POFQ. Great choice. We stayed there last December and I like that one much better than my 2 stays at POR.

Cool sparkly pics everyone. :thumbsup2

I will probably be up for Martini tasting in July. Right now after last night...don't mention Martini to me, but by July, I should be ok. :headache:

Gotta live up to my name!!:rotfl: Good to hear we picked the right PO if we decide to stay there! I'm nuts - I have 2 ressies booked for MLK (POFQ and VWL) and must pick ONE of those and then today I also went ahead & booked 3 n. at AKL for next July pre-cruise!! I decided we'd just do a "pool view" room & I know there aren't going to be many of those left once they finish making the DVC units on the top 2 floors so I figured JUST BOOK IT and be done! I've called & asked about DVC availability for those dates at AKV & there's none and so the "pool view" only works out to being like $24 more than a std. studio with the discount - so I decided it wasn't worth all the calling to DVC MS!! But I am really hoping to stumble on an AP discount on these cash ressies tho! (I hate being out of points!) I gotta find out what the trick is to finding out about these AP discounts!

HI KATIE! HOW ARE YOU????
Doncha just hate it when you're hungover and people ask you if you want a drink or start waving the tequila/wine/gin/vodka bottle around orSTART TALKING REALLY LOUDLY???

yeah, me neither :rotfl2:

um, what's the deal with these "PO" places? I mean. I know what a PoHo is <bad cheri> but, what's the deal with all these "PO" places anyway? Disney run outta names?

it's hot here... 93... ok, for the beach THAT'S HOT! me no likey! Think I may go buy that Magic Bullet I've been eyeing. You know, strictly for investigational purposes only. For the cruise. 'Cuz it will be hot and I'm determined to find out what happens when you take a :mickeybar and add Bailey's, Kaluah, maybe Drambuie (ok and maybe some Grey Goose - da Goose!). Must know before dragging across country. Also must know if it will make good fruit margy for friend RJ.... Can't you write-off educational stuff on your taxes??? Sorry, Bets, none of that nasty Mojito stuff in my bullett*

* I know, I know..... that's so....

:confused3 What's a magic bullet?

Who's Dave and she's who's daughter? :confused:

:rolleyes: PO = Port Orleans (specifically, POR = Port Orleans Riverside and POFQ = Port Orleans French Quarter - they're side-by-side "moderate" resorts with theming of the Mississippi Delta and New Orleans)

93 = perfect beach weather to me!:beach:

Unlesswormsareameat thenI'llhavetosettleforicecream, nonfatofcourse.
