No..I am the electrician in the house..I usually rewire stuff, but I hired my friends husband to do this..it was WAY too involved with cutting the ceiling and fishing wire in the walls...
I have one more of the undercabinet lights..it was taken with my phone, so all the pictures aren't that great

Thanks! It was a great trip except for the 8-13ft waves and the "Force 5" winds (19-24 mph). July will have much mo' betta weather, and you are all going to have a fantastic time on your Wonder '08 cruises.

Soccermom-Cheri said I had to pop in. At the Castaway Clubhouse event (former Castaway Club reception) Darren (cruise director) talked about the 4 day double dips. They are still working out the details, but there will be more scheduled events onboard spread out over all three "port" days. Not sure how they will handle the Palo brunch yet either. For us, there was very little to do onboard on the Nassau day. We didn't leave the ship and spent the day at the quiet cove pool with a book and drink(s). Heaven for me, but DH got a little bored.

As another FYI we heard from multiple people that the 2012 ship will be going to the west coast . It will be 150 feet longer and 17 feet wider -- better get the Panama Canal widened asap! The new ships will most likely have Golden Mickeys & Disney Dreams and a "new" show or two. The plan is for each of the four ships to have its own unique show: Wonder has Hercules (excellent, btw!), Magic has Twice Charmed, and two new shows - one for each new ship. Speaking of Disney Dreams, we were the first cruise to see "Disney Dreams: an Enchanted Classic" It is an updated Disney Dreams with a few new scenes and a lot of updated special effects. The cast was incredible! They had been rehearsing in Canada for the past two months and been onboard the Wonder rehearsing during the day for the past two weeks. Our cruise was their first "performance" and they were amazing!

Glad you had a great cruise. I wish I didn't have to wait another year to cruise again, but I guess I will just have to settle for 2 weeks at WDW until then!

Hi all...just watched the Presidents helicopters fly over on their way back to DC from Camp David - that's about the extent of the excitement around here!

I did some spring cleaning yesterday in the master bedroom which involved the maiming and murder of several large families of dust bunnies. Some were hiding under the bed, some behind the dresser and some were tangled in the curtains! It was a nasty job, but one that had to be done. It's my theory that they were preparing to move under the bathmats - so we washed all of those to drown any remaining dust bunny gang leaders.

Today - it's 70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After lunch I'm going out to hit the mulch!

Hope everyone has as productful of a day as I plan on having (I sometimes invent words).

(PS) Betsy - your kitchen looks good - you'll love the under the cabinet lights - my only problem with mine is that they force me to clear off & clean the counters more often as they highlight the crumbs!

They are gone..

We went and returned some of the extra lights we didn't use and bought a grill! I am excited because the little one we had was kinda a "fake" grill..only 15k BTU's from Target..this one has an electic ignightor and 3 burners and 50k BTU!! We are gonna grill tonight!


We also almost bought a new fan for the living room...it was called a HUNTER "CREIGHTON"

Anyone feel like a thread killer?

Getting ready for a LONG week at the elementary school. Bookfair week and guess who is the chairperson? YUP--that would be me.
I have to be there from open to close Mon-Fri, which means 8:30-4:30 every day. We didn't get very many parent volunteers for this one, so there are many, many hours that I'll be there by myself. This should be INTERESTING!

Stupid weather coming our way....a cold front storm is supposed to jack-up my nice warm weather! They say it'll be gone by Tuesday evening, and then back to warming up again.

Annie: Did ya get your gardening done? Me, I don't "garden" (brown thumb ya know)... but I do have a gardener to do it for me!
