Oh, I didnt realize you only had it for 1 of the cruises. Good luck getting it for the next. Being so far out, hopefully things will work out. Or you could always refuse to leave and make the new occupants stay next door. Maybe you could switch numbers on the door.

How goes the hunt for a builder Johnna? Any luck?

Why yes, maybe. We talked to California Custom Homes out of Madera. He just built a home a stones throw from the ranch. (if you have a really good arm) So he is familiar with the terrain and all.

We spent some time this weekend wandering our parcel checking out potential house sites. When we are down there next we will most likely have him and his construction supervisor come out and look at the spots with us and then we will start the design process. I guess. Come up with a floor plan and elevation once we pick a site.

It seems so complicated. Guess flat ground might help. We have to make sure the supervisor gets the lay of the land so his crews understand the importance of shutting the gates. Cows must not be allowed to escape.

So - we will be closer neighbors in .....oh...about 2 years.
