DW and I are taking our DD to WDW staying at AKL for her first time to the happiest place on earth in 33 days!!
My DW is and has been a DIS'r for a few years now and sent the link for this section of the DISboards. She's cool like that
anyways. Hello to one and all.

You're going to be there the same time we are . There's a couple of us getting together for a DIS Dad's Club meet. Of course, being a procrastinator, the details have not been worked out yet

Hello all..

Jsut starting the planning for taking the wife, DD4 and DS2 to disney next Feb/March. I was last there in 1985 at about the age of 10 i can hardly wait.. I am the trip planner in the family and this is g a major going to be a major undertaking.. i can hardly wait!!!

Well I have to admit i am a Disney Dad. I do all the planning, all the booking all the itineraries, review all of the restaurant menues, call for the ADRs, call back to adjust the ADRs, call to upgrade the room, book the flight, ask the in-laws if they want to come, make their reservations and book their flight, read the boards, read the UG, join the boards, look at old disney pictures. I just looked at some from 1971. We went with my grandparents in a Winebago. Stayed at Fort Wilderness. I remember the ticket booklet. I thought the lines were long then. The Haunted Mansion will always be my favororite. ... I think I should just stop for now May 16th can't get here soon enough.

You'll need to upload your pictures to a site that hosts image storage like Photobucket or Imageshack. Once you upload the photo to their site, they usually give you an address to use in the reply on the forum (look for the address that's used for message boards... should start with

ill get there, and there will be a convention i didnt hear about!! ill have fun anyway. we have a dance comp. this weekend again. valley forge confr. center. ill have to try to get the lap top again! my dd says "im computer challenged!"

wow, the past 2 weeks , i took down our 12x24 swimming pool and 8x20 pool deck. took the deck to a buddy w/ a farm who burned the wood. the pool went to the church recy. pile and left w/ a pile of river rock, sand and mud. i got all the stone around the garage, and the sand and mud, racked out and got top soil coming next week. i discovered one very important thing, im not 25 years old anymore!! not only did i pull eveything in my body, but i also managed to get a sun burn on my head!!! dw telling me " i told you to wear a hat." once again, she was correct. i also got my new co. car monday afternoon, went back to the dealer today,sounds like a flock of geese heading south for the winter!! i can laugh,since im not paying for it!!

dvcerfs - Hopefully you were far from the problems on Rt 33 and did not have to be evacuated. I got concerned when I heard about that in your area. I will be in your neck of the woods tomorrow for a meeting with PennDOT...lucky me!
