THE DIS DAD'S OLYMPICS!!! PERFECT!!:rotfl:

Let's see, there could be a race for FastPass tickets from Main Street to Space Mountain and back, timed slides down the Clown Slide at BW, pancake eating contest at Chef Mickey's....the possibilities are endless!!! Now we just need some corporate sponsors to pay for it all!!:rotfl2:

Hey guys - count me in too - I counted 37 from the list at the beginning. Add to those being a DLR CM in h.s. and college, and honeymooning at WDW, and I think I qualify. :woohoo:

What a cool thread. It's great to see that there are many more like me out there (even though I knew that already!)

Oh I am definitely in!!! I think the Beaches & Cream event is a great idea. But I also have a need for speed so I think we should race the TomorrowLand Indy Speedway cars!! Just imagine:Holidayroad, The Disney Fanatic and Chill just went around the fourth turn 3 wide!!!!!! Stopher 1 and Buckeye 218 are coming up fast on the outside!!! Ladies and gentlemen this announcer has never seen racing this intense!!! These Disney Dads are hitting top speeds of 7.5 MPH!!!!!!!!! "Disney Dad #81

I'm a DIS Dad! I have to give kudos to imadisneynut for getting me to the right place to join in the fun! :thumbsup2

We have planned our each of our last four trips with the help of Santa Claus as the "travel agent" each time. I can't tell you how fun it is to see my kids when they open the gift. We've done it in different ways each year and DW and I keep coming up with some good ideas for the surprise. Then it's nothing but Disney talk until we get there usually Jan/Feb.

Now I'm a DIS addict and we're hopeful to become DVC members, too! :cool1:

Welcome Minniekissedme I have only one thing to say to you.

Hail to Pitt, Hail to Pitt for the Victory!......Fight Pitt Fight!

Hello all and welcome to the new Dis Dad's Club members!

Just wanted to drop a line about an upcoming trip - if for no other reason than to get you thinking about doing the same thing one day.

This spring, my son and I are taking a trip to Disney - because I couldn't think of anything he'd rather do. He loves the place and I love hanging out with him. Mom and sis are going elsewhere.

My boy is 12 and I can already see the little guy making way for the big man he will become. It's kind of sad, but happy as well.

I hope this trip will be full of memories he will carry with him forever.

Thanks for listening.

chillcoupons...thanks for the best possible welcome! Good to know I'm in good company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back after we know the next victim...

That is awsome!!! Have a great time!!

I'm looking to take my DS11 when he's 13 to spring training and Disney. Catch the Buccos in Bradenton and then a few days at WDW. What better way to become a teenager????

ORU and MSU...look out...Go PITT!

I took both of my boys separately for a father/son getaway a couple of years ago - they still talk about it! Each trip was different and very special. We had a blast!!!:thumbsup2

Its nice to know that I can always escape to the Dad's club for some Disney understanding. Just booked a trip for Sept. our first time at POP, the wheels are turning feverishly in my head, how can I be expected to work for the next 6 months now, hehe.

I know that feeling. :goodvibes Just wish I had it myself right now...

By the way, I'd love to compete in the Kitchen Sink Olympics too! Never had one (and had never heard of it before the DIS Boards) but I'd love to give it a go sometime!!!

Welcome all new members.

I looked back and guess I'm DDC member #3 that just happens to be my fav number as well.

I know I can't even come close on that Kitchen Sink eating but maybe we can start a thread with pictures of our high scores from Buzz and the new Toy story ride.

I know I can a bit competative with DD when we get on Buzz. And I'm sure this is something we all ride when at the World .

My July trip is fast approching as this is the first time in may years I/We have not been down in a 12 month time frame.HS is great but stinks for pulling out for vacation ( well there is the expense of it as well).

We are doing a small beach trip next week for spring break and we are still playing Paintball so that will keep me going until July

I like the idea I'mNoPrince! But I can already imagine that our wives won't be too thrilled. We will all be riding Buzz and Toy Story over and over and over!!!!!!! Disney Dad #81

I have no pictures of proof...only my kids know that I love kickin' their collective butts on Buzz...on the Feb trip posted at 400700. That's without getting stuck! :thumbsup2

Just wanted to let the DIS Dad's know that this dad got word today that Disney waived ROFR on the DVC contract we are purchasing!!!!!! I've got the Pointer Sisters jamming in the background!

You can forget about it! I wasn't any good on my job until I got back. I'm getting work done now but I need some type of medication for the Post -Disney Blues. They should be gone after 3 months. Am I right?

My Minne done left me.

Pluto has run away.

I tried my keys to the Magic Kingdom but the lock has been changed.

I got the Blues.

I got those post Disney World Blues.

I don't know if 3 months are enough to loose the post Disney blues, but it is about the right amount of time to get started with planning the next trip!!!
