I'll admit, I'm bad about this... I guess we hear the warnings so often that I don't always feel the need to get to safety unless I see something on the radar or outside that tells me otherwise. DW hates the cellar and absolutely refuses to go unless something is imminent and even then I have to drag her kicking and screaming. I actually spent some time yesterday evening standing out in the middle of the cornfield by my house to give me a clear view of the sky all the way around so I could watch it. According to the radar, the worst of it was going to be to the North, and it was. Scary and interesting to watch all at the same time. With all this severe weather we've been having, it's like something out of a movie. My heart and prayers goes out to all who are in need.
It use to be that when a warning came, I might go to our safe place, now there's no question, we go!
