I was just thinking, there is 1 ride I never did, and will never do at WDW:confused3

Ownage 2 pages in a row

Well, it's only been here for a few minutes.

The others haven't noticed yet. :cool1:

I think we just post new topics as the ideas come up - I suspect the "catch-all" thread will slow down considerably, as topics worthy of their own threads get spun off from the catch-all.

As an example, I just posted a new thread . . .
Phineas & Ferb live. Awesome

A ride (attraction) I've not yet done at WDW is Phil-har-magic.
An attraction i "won't" do? Nothing comes to mind...

I like the sub-forums so far. My favorite suggestion of threads was "Stopher's pics"

Heading to Vancouver in a few days for a conference... any suggestions for things to do?:surfweb:

*ahem*

WE GOT OUR OWN AREA!

So... who's the sucker they got to moderate this one?

Antivirus update: I was talking to one of our tech folks at work today and asking their opinion on different antivirus programs. They told me that our district had recently changed from Symantic over to something called Sophos. She also told me that school employees could have 1 copy to use on their home computers, and she had a disk with her, so I brought it home and installed it. So, new antivirus is installed, didn't cost a dime, and I can already tell that my computer is moving a little faster because Norton isn't sucking away all available resources to do it's thing.

Sophos works pretty well, and is less resource-intensive than Symantec. It's a little slower than some of the others, but it has a good track record. I use it on our classified computer systems at work.

They just turned 6 and I am a little concerned that they will wear themselves out just from the adrenaline rush.

My older daughter sacked out in a stroller on several occasions last year, when she was a few months shy of turning 6. We brought one umbrella stroller with us (for the younger daughter) and ended up buying another one at DTD because of, apparently, running the kids ragged that day. :confused3:rotfl:

So am I crazy to even be considering booking Poly for a high season holiday peak week for next year?

I mean - it will be our first week at WDW and also our first time staying on property....shouldn't I do it right the first time???

That's where we stayed our first family trip. We booked a garden view room and got bumped up to a Magic Kingdom View room in the Tahiti building. Long way from the Great Ceremonial House, but quite close to TTC for easy access to boats and monorails. It was great to have with a 3yo who was still napping a bit. Getting into and out of MK and Epcot quickly and directly back to the room was great.

The downside is that you can get a little spoiled by doing it right the first time. Next time you'll have to go Concierge at the Poly.:banana::banana:

What am I, the only DISdad who just got back from a homebrew club meeting and wants to talk about Disney?

That's a yes.

Cheers,
Indy

Can't sleep because this cold is making it hard for me to breathe when I lay down. Just watched Mark Harmon on Letterman and now I've got the DVR going watching him as Leroy Jethro Gibbs. :thumbsup2

I saw a recipe for making a gluten free Fat Tire that's apparently pretty good. 'Cept that I drink about a 12-pack a year so getting the equipment to make my own and bottle it is pretty much a wasted effort.

Clearly a plum assignment! :thumbsup2

Morning guys! Awoken at 5 by the son who noticed that the new dog had diarrhea on the rug outside our bedrooms upstairs. Joys of dog ownership... Any tips?

FYI, in the Disney theme, we named the dog Happy (yes, after the dwarf)

I don't understand the signicants of our own forum! :confused3

Freedom to discuss ALL THINGS DIS Dad related... and not confine it to 1 thread, that gets shut down monthly.

And recognition on the DISboards. It shows the DISdads, finally have respect, and influence.

Kinda like when you are dating, versus engaged, versus married.

People just perceive you differently.

The things you do when you are dating and married, are generally the same ;) , but when married it's a lot more universally accepted.

How the hell did I make that leap? :confused3

I got Barry in trouble.
:thumbsup2 <====You get double barreled "not a thumb" ====>:thumbsup2

Tip #1.
Nature's Miracle. They sell it at PetCo and is the best stuff we've found at cleaning up stains and getting rid of the smell.

Tip #2.
Scratch them behind the ears. They like that. :)

Don't step in it.

Which ride is that? There are still quite a few I've yet to hit, only one I have zero intrest in...the Indy Speedway.

I love Philharmagic., likely due to Donald being the star. (Should be Donald's Philharmagic.)

ooo...Accidental Ownage!

Thanks for the advice guys!

Also wanted to post my favorite princess pic (from the Japan store at World Showcase)

I keep throwiing out bottles as I have no where to store them between the brewing process. Otherwise, I'd be happy to talk both Homebrewing & Disney.

And, I realize I haven't done Tomorrowland Speedway, either.
(Or Soarin'... Shhhh..)
