So when are you headed to Myrtle Beach again...I'm heading there over Easter...mainly because my wife is from there (Native) and She who must be obeyed says I must go visit MIL.....

Sorry to be a downer here this evening. We have had a huge tragedy today and I need you all to remember a special family from our church in your prayers. The Father and 2 children were on the way to watch 2 older sons play a baseball game for their High School and they were hit head on. The Father was killed and the children teenage girl and 8 year old boy were lifeflighted and are both in the or right now with ruptured bowels caused from the seatbelts. In addition to the ruptured bowels...The daughter is also unable to feel anything from the diaphragm down or unable to move and we are told she has broken bones in her back but I am not sure what part of her back. The youngest son has a borken jaw and multiple facial lacerations. Please send prayers up for this family. They are a very special family to us!

Prayers being sent. I can't even imagine.

Wow, I should just be able to get DD2 brave enough to get back on the ride, I am sure that'll just freak her out again....I love it.

She was the original "no fear" kid, so not the diva her older sister is, likely due to a certain dad staying home with her instead of her mom. That was until Disneyworld intorduced her to the concept of "fear"....she freaked out at the Hall of Presidents! Now she is all talks about going back, and not being scarred, because we will hold her hand, and have glow sticks etc....She truely is something else

Hmmm...almost grabbed my wallet there and then! However I spied in the comments that it seems to run a bit small in the fit, and I'd be a little wary...so close.....and the style of it is SO much better then the one the Disney Store had. In other news, I've edited the podcast recording schedule, and moved some of the recording dates to Tuesday instead of Thursday. Our next show is set to record a week from tomorrow, with a focus on Disney's Hollywood Studios. At this point, the panel is wide open. In addition to the DHS topics, I'll need someone to be interviewed for the 10 Questions segment and someone with an upcoming trip to do a trip preview segment.

Also Mike the Blue's will be here in Rhode island this year in June....They put on a great show...i woud love to be able to have my boys meet the "crew"..let me know if this is possibe?

Unfortunately, you would probably need a Friends and Family pass for that. David isn't scheduled for that show so I can't really help you. Sometimes, the ground crew members, like the Crew Chiefs, walk around at the show and hand out stickers, photos, etc. It depends on how much spare time they have.

Cool. I will try to make it to the JRB. We used to sit on the roof of our house to watch the Thunderbirds perform out of there. They would use the side street next to our house to line up parallel to the main runway, so they would fly almost directly over our house. Good times!

I hope you can get there! Should be a great show!

A very good book I hope to put to good use in August....the whole theme to this trip is "slow down"(except for "runnerdad" getting TSM fastpasses before our breakfast ADR at Hollywood & Vine)

I really enjoyed their views on things Disney! Sorry to hear about your car! And great catch on that ADR at Hollywood and vine! They have a great breakfast buffet. We try to get an ADR for 8 am so that we will have eaten and standing at the rope before everyone else!

sounds like heaven! Unfortunately I have to be "super dad" and get the fast passes for space mountain while they run to big thunder! I just finished reading "The Hidden Magic of Disney" it's pretty good. They stress slowing down and absorbing the little nuances that make Disney what it is! All the small things that your mind notices but you don't necessarily acknowledge. thanks for sharing!

This was one DW put up as an option when mapping out the ADRs. We try to add a few new ones each time.The ADR is for 9:30, we don`t really want to do any early-early wake-ups, we found it too hard on the girls. The plan is to get there just before 9 and DW and the girls head over to H&V, and I will head over and grab the fastpasses for TSM and meet them there. I know I`ve heard a lot of mixed reviews of H&V, but it`s breakfast buffet. If you`ve got bacon, sausage and buscuits, I can`t see any negatives

2) My car got broken into! My 2011 Mustang V6. :thumbsdown: We had a threat of storms, so I moved my car under an overpass near the house. While it was under there, some people came by, busted the window, and looked for my hidden treasures. Well, I spent all my $ on the car, so I have none left for guns, iPods, cash, or drugs. Seriously, when you see a carseat, do you think there's a gun?!? Well, the idiots couldn't even break just the window! Instead, the messed up the paint, and the rearview mirror, and the sheet metal.... to the Tune of $2700.
Insurance aside, it's still a P.I.T.A., and all they got was $1.50 in quarters.

Sorry to hear that... Unfortunately it doesn't take much more than an opportunity to encourage some people to do things like that.

And my wife thinks I'm the bad guy for telling her to get the jar full of quarters out of her cupholder before someone sees it and breaks a window.
