Not sales in the manner you might be thinking, actually commercial finance. I'm a credit officer, which does take me out to on-site meetings often. My territory encompasses all of the midwest, northeast and south (the south within the eastern time zone).

And oh yeah, Canada, Western Europe and South America too... though I haven't had to personally make any international visits yet... but you never know. Our old president used to make all of those, but our new president has already said he won't be stepping in and doing other people's jobs... so perhaps.
Is this by any chance Silicon Valley Bank or Square 1 type lending?

Might be able to use apple tv.:thumbsup2
Airplay allows you to push iTunes content from an iDevice to an AppleTV or a computer running iTunes. It won't pull content to an iDevice from a television (except for an AppleTV). The only thing I can think of that would allow you to watch TV content that's in one room on an iPad in a different room (beside the very limited Time-Warner cable app) is a Slingplayer connected to the TV and the Slingplayer app on an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch.

I know a lot of people that have good success with air video.(different from airplay) Neither Airplay or Air Video will help with streaming live tv, but the do make is easy to watch movies or other media files you have stored on a server over the internet. Aaron's slingbox suggestion is probably the best for streaming live video. Of course you could use the netflix app too, but that has a limited library of streaming content.

Episode 3 is in the can. I've uploaded it for editing. Hopefully, we'll have something up on iTunes by Monday.

Great work guys!
Thanks. I'm excited to listen to number 3.

OK...how are you doing the mirroring thing on your TV....do tell do tell!
They make a similar adapter with a VGA output for the Ipad 1 devices. Mirroring only worked in certain apps with it though. There is also an app which enables you to wirelessly connect your ipad to your laptop to use it as a second monitor.

We have to finish it before Don's vacation :lmao::rotfl2::lmao:
That's really quite considerate.

I also think of Mr. Belvedere :rotfl2:
That was an awesome show. Something for Bob to be proud of.

Good call on the sling box....i almost forgot about that being an option.

Can't wait to listen to the next podcast!

Thanks Aaron.

If your have an Apple store around you.. You have to be there at least and hour before they open and stand in line. They get a shipment in every night and trickle them out between 9 and 10a:thumbsup2

My job keeps me from being able to do that during the week, but maybe I can have an 'early dental appointment' or something. :rolleyes1

DLP July 19th, see you there. :thumbsup2

Great work guys!

Thanks for all your work Aaron. I hope I didn't speak put of turn. The broadcast kept going in and out on my end. If I cut anyone off I sincerly apologize.

as the voice in the corn would say, "go the distance!":listen:

If Mark was here he'd give that a big +1! :rotfl2:

+1 :thumbsup2 There you go! :rotfl2:

So...have you done a site visit for your Delaware client in a while? :rolleyes1

I'm sure it will be great! I never really got into the podcasts until you talked about them in episode 2. I've been listening to a few of them since then and I've got to say the DIS Dad's podcast is as good as any of them and better than most. I think of the other ones I listened to, I liked WDW Today, but Aaron, you are a better moderator than Matt :thumbsup2... he speaks a little too fast sometimes. I will eagerly await the posting of episode 3 for download!

I haven't been much of a podcast guy, either, but I agree. These have been a lot of fun. Can't wait for the next one! One of these days I'll remember to log onto iTunes and post a review.

Don,
I just ordered the shirt but do not remember how to make payment. Can you repost this?

I think Don said he was going to email everyone an invoice to be paid by paypal.

:thumbsup2 The invoices will be sent out once I make the order with my local guys. I need to make sure everyone has their orders correct... didn't get a chance to send out the PM's last night :headache: Will be doing that today.

Finally figured out the "Rotating Ticker" thing. :rolleyes1

Ummmm.... what's with all the "NOT"s? :confused3

I think Don should add Peanut Butter and Beverly to the tags as well.

Good suggestion... apparently tags cannot be changed after the thread is created... unless I'm missing something.

So I finished out my Daddy-Daughter TR tonight... can check off the Man Law for that, since we leave again on Monday for the World. But of course, it can be unchecked once again, since I still have my Bicoastal TR to work on more... but that just isn't going to be done soon. I've been working on it getting ready to post again... but it's not ready yet.

Excellent! I'll go check out the end! :thumbsup2:

I was on last week, looking at page 199 of the last thread, and I've had to skip around 140 pages of threads. So, sorry, for missing, well, everything for a week. I've been sleeping at night (finally), and that's cut into my "keeping up with the DISDADS" time.
FYI, before they were the O's they were the St. Louis Browns.
The current Cardinals owner is the grandson of a former St. Louis Browns Owner. He was on the radio yesterday telling the story.

Pants! Tony Gwynn's pants hate him, that and buffets.
:lmao: pants... (though right now, my pants hate me. Stupid winter of lethargy)
Tony Gwynn represents all that CAN be good about baseball players. I really hope Albert takes a page out of his playbook.

+1 :thumbsup2 There you go! :rotfl2:

I don't know when the +1 score system was introduced, but I'm a fan. So, +1 for introducing a disdads scoring system. :thumbsup2
And, I'm supposed to be posting reviews of the podcasts? I didn't know. Someone will need to show me how, because i've really enjoyed the first two so far.
And for anyone's team that did not win yesterday, there are 161 more games to go, so don't get too anxious yet.

How much snow did you get? I walked out the door, saw the snow (it was the large flake kinda snow) and almost turned around and went back inside.

:lmao: get this, its snowing in nazareth to beat the band but its not sticking to anything. i went up to bangor and its raining. i went up 611 through the water gap onto i80 and nothing but rain.:confused3 come back rt33, raining in stroudsburg, snowing like crazy on the south side of the mountain.:confused3 it was 37 degrees in stroudsburg at 7am this morning.:lmao:

Y’all are puttin’ a serious hurtin’ on the page count in Ol’ Number 8. At first it looked like I’d missed out on a whole lot but baseball seems to have been the driving force behind the bulk of the posting spree (not that that’s a bad thing…). It was starting to look a whole lot like a verbal food fight (not that that’s a bad thing either…).

Don’t have time to really go back and do some proper multi-quoting so I’ll just have to hit the highlights:

For those of y’all that are dealing with family/medical issues, we have you in our thought down this way as well. :goodvibes

PodCast: Looking forward to hearing the third installment. Y’all did a very professional job on the first couple. :thumbsup2

For those about to head off to The World: Jealous!!!!! :sad1:

Baseball: I really don’t have a dog in that fight. Most of my raisin’ was done in South Florida (in the 60s/70s) and Mid-Carolina since then, so there really hasn’t been any dominate team for me to grow attached to. I love to watch the game live and can do so at least at a minor league level (Charlotte Knights), but just never really got into the swing of the majors. Now… That being said, I have enjoyed watching y’all beat on each other over it. Truly entertaining. :lmao:

Does Disney still do land/sea vacation packages? The DW and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary in two years and we have always wanted to do the Poly/Parks and then a 4 or 5 day cruise after. :confused3
