The 24th and the 26th are the only August dates that aren’t sold out, and Disney never adds more tickets online once they do. If that date wasn’t a typo I’d love to hear where she got that ticket.

Sometimes if you call directly you can get tickets to a sold out date. Probably because people cancel or move dates. I've seen that happen a few times.

Lots of cute merch all about- but if you see something you like, buy it! I got a pink cutie ghost hat at World of Disney and haven’t seen it anywhere else. I also saw a cute Hocus Pocus T-shirt at WoD and should have bought it bc I haven’t seen it elsewhere.
For the first time ever me and the hubby are visiting WDW with NO KIDS! We've been going yearly since 2016 and it has always been a 10 day family trip. Well we haven't vacationed anywhere alone since becoming parents and truly there's no where else we like to go. So we felt guilty for a while then pieces started coming together.. husband turns 40 this October 9th, our 15 year wedding anniversary, kids are old enough and mature enough to know where we are going and not be upset and excited to help us plan. We are going Oct 9-12 and doing each park 1 day, with our MK day being MNSSHP on the 10th. We've done MNSSHP a handful of times and it is my absolute favorite thing to do/that I have done in Disney World. We are heavy bounding/light costuming as the Dapper Dans. Hubby is blue and I am orange cause Kevin is my fave! We aren't too bothered with the fireworks show or the castle show so we are super excited to eat all the specialty things we never get to do with kids, and ride "big kid" rides without swapping out the toddler with the 10 year old.
We are visiting DD who is doing the DCP in October. We will be doing the party 10/3. It’ll be myself, SO, DD, DS and DS GF. We’re undecided on costumes but have thrown around Toy Story. But I think the guys just want to do t shirts.
