And if they are? You're with me. I don't care if they get upset with me for running up the page count. It's not like I haven't done THAT before... pirate:

Besides, I'm just sitting here tonight in front of my laptop checking the DIS, working on Scout Summer Camp stuff, while also trying to reconfigure our kids' computer, listening to the news in the background, and FB messaging back and forth with my cousin in CA getting an update on my grandmother.

You've got much loftier stuff going on than me. I'm just checking DIS to figure out if we need to switch an ADR at La Hacienda (its always hard to cut through the negative reviews) and "researching" Spaceranger Spin so I can max my score out and get a button. Who needs the news I've got old episodes of Family Ties on the DVR.

I need to get in on this I need all the help I can get from the master to get my post count up.

The more the merrier

I normally don't watch (or listen) to the news. I get it online throughout the day. But as the kids and I were watching American Idol tonight (recording it for the DW who was out at a meeting tonight... we don't have a DVR - just a VCR for recording purposes - of course we have DVD equipment, but without cable or satellite, we are in fact DVR-less... so yeah, we have to sit there and watch it to pause during the commercials. You can see we haven't moved out of the '80s and '90s in my house). Anyway - as we were watching AI, the weatherman kept coming in on the breaks talking about SNOW moving in tomorrow or the next day. UGH. SPRING is supposed to be coming, not winter. Winter needs to GO AWAY now.

Looks like I might hit 2000 posts tonite, but I guess it would be 2500 is the next big one:confused3

We have had over seven inches of rain in the last week with a good amount of flooding in the area. Also two tornados hit the area last week:headache:
Be careful what you wish for.

I can honestly say after my first trip there, if I wouldnt of found the disboards I would be 90% sure I wouldnt go back. I read on here how to plan for the trip, how to plan for meals, how to plan your day in the parks, and a lot of little fun extras. Im sure if I wouldnt of read them that there is very little chance I wouldnt have 5 successful, fun trips under my belt and a 6th trip coming up that will top all those before it.
My first WDW trip i was 20 and someone ELSE did the planning. All i had to do was have fun. And, thus, I did.... and i've been back 4 (5?) times since.

This is SO VERY TRUE!!!!! :rotfl::lmao::rotfl2: Reminds me now of a time way back when my eldest was a tike, and my BIL, (who fits your description almost to a T except that he still has no children of his own), while sitting in our living room with my son on his lap, and after having just given off another one of his fun remarks about something, I don't recall exactly what, was gifted with a nice juicy "present", exploding beyond my son's pants, and directly out and on to my BIL's pants. Needless to say - he was not happy, but it was very, very funny. :rotfl2:

I had a coworker tell me you can potty-train a 6 month old if you care about them. I asked how many children she had/tried to train. She said "none. But my sister-in-law read it in a book"
skip ahead 4 months. She got a dog, and got rid of it 4 weeks later because, "It's a lot of work! Almost like having a kid!"

i should'd laugh, but I am... She's still not a parent, so little victories, I suppose.

And, back to the Disney Vs. Beach vs. Mountains. Personally, I can do any of them, and have fun. I'll relax at some point, but I figure I should "do" as much as I can while I can, and sit on a beach later?

Very impressive! Real men can sew. I broke out the sewing kit myself tonight to fix a stuffed animal and a pair of pants

Great job, Garry!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
I agree. I make my living with a knife, needle and thread (and some other cool toys)!

Oh I know that. Part of our town is low-level, with a very swollen river already, near flood stage. Been raining off and on much of the day today, plus other days throughout the past week or so. Last Saturday evening my son was in a Scout ceremony, and we had to literally ford a creek that had overrun its banks and was flooding the road too in order to get to the camp. I'm just DONE with snow...

Just use the Stopher method and you will be there in a few minutes:lmao:

I don't know about that, I kinda remember getting Stopher to 10,000 was like pulling teeth:lmao: Don't worry be the time he gets near 20,000 we should have the water board in place:lmao:

That was a main reason to move to Chattanooga a couple of years ago from Michigan............ This has been one of the worst years in the noog for snow in 25 years.:confused3 :rotfl2:

To answer your question...

Politics and overt religious discussions are frowned upon by the moderators - not allowed actually.

It was, wasn't it?!? :rotfl2:

But it was on purpose though. I didn't want to miss it with just some trivial little one-liner reponse... so I pulled back and got cautious. But I did play along with you for what, 30 or more... and look, now here I am just 39 away from 10,100... I tell ya, it just keeps going, and going.

I can't say that I've seen prayer requests being shut down or posters being reprimanded by the mods in other threads I participate in, but it's always possible. I suppose there's always a first time.

I've deleted my prior posts. Not trying to start anything.

Personally I don't think you're trying to start anything - and I don't think the mods would either, BUT, I'm not a mod, and cannot speak for any of them. It is usually better to err on the side of caution, though I have been known to share situations with my buddies here on the boards too. So there you go.
