Ah, the mac "n cheese was good. Not deep fried nor with extra cheese, but with lots of Franks RedHot, lots and lots of Frank"s RedHot. HHHMMM! :firefight

I can handle a little Franks now and then, but I'm not a fan of spicy food. In fact, I'm a total wuss when it comes to the hot stuff. But I'm still open minded (read:totally stupid). We went out to a Mexican restaurant on Saturday for a friend's birthday, and the guy next to me asked the waiter for a some habanero salsa. We were discussing it, and he invited me to dip one of the tines of my fork in and try it. I don't know what I was thinking, but I gave it a shot.
I don't know if the amount that I put on my tongue would be measurable by anything short of a micrometer and a microscope, but HOLY BEVERLY was that hot! I thought my tongue was going to swell up and burst into flame. Luckily, my meal came almost immediately after I did this. I grabbed DW's fork (mine was now considered bio-hazard), and plopped about a golf ball sized glob of sour cream directly on my throbbing, inflamed tongue.

Have I learned my lesson? Yes. I'm now never using anything hotter than cinnamon on my food.

The only news / current events we'd find in your TR:
"Moses came down from the mountain today. He had some kind of tablets in his arms..."

:rotfl2::rotfl:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

There's alot of thread left, Aaron! :cool2:

:rotfl2: An excellent idea for a conference! And between Fed and his brother the brain surgeon, we should be able to cover this from a few angles!
You guys fix em'...I send em' back

At 1st, I could only do a little Frank's. But them I stared to up the dosage to now where I can easily do 2-3 oz without a problem.

By the way, how's the baby??

He is doing great! He turned one in January and is the easiest of the three kids. Not that the other two were hard but Gabe is really an easy kid. he hardly ever cries and is content watching the antics of the other two.

If you learned your lesson you're not totally stupid. Totally stupid would be thinking "next time its gonna be better." Watch a 3 year old boy injure themselves then get up and immediately do the same thing again for an example of this.

3 y/o boy, I don't have to go further than a staff meeting at work to witness this:laughing:

I'm going to keep my mouth shut on this one...:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I'm not a spicy-food guy, either. I like to stick with ketchup. But if I'm really in a wild-and-crazy mood, I'll go with... BBQ sauce. :thumbsup2

Your right, I probably could have left it at guys in general. The biggest difference between my son and daughter was if DD got hurt doing something her typical response was "I'm not doing that again." DS's response was usually "ohhh I just didn't _______ _______ enough. " Based on the number of MT biking scars I have, the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Ohh and I wasn't trying to imply that boys are stupid. I think that drive to continuously push forward and repeatedly do things which we've failed at in the past is one of the things that enables people to accomplish great things. It also just seems to have the small side effect of lots of emergency room visits.

I think someone in this club has an ANNOUNCEMENT to make!!
Boy Don, you really know how to keep this thread moving!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

ATTENTION!!!!

While we were on Juliana's WISH trip in December, my DW Melody wasn't feeling herself. After a trip to Walmart and a test, we found out that Melody is pregnant! Her due date is August 13 which was the day of Juliana's last chemo treatment.

AND we are having a boy!!!!!

Melody has been doing and feeling well. She came down with a stomach bug Thursday and we are hoping that Juliana & I don't catch it because......

We are leaving on Sunday (3/6) to fly to Florida for some family time with Melody's grandfather and then we are going to DISNEY for a few days too! And we will be in the MK on March 11th for Juliana's 5th Birthday!

I thought about doing a PTR but my TR has taken up most of my time. I will post updates to FB and if you want to be friends let me know. I know a lot of you understand why I didn't mention the baby stuff earlier... thanks for your understanding. I will say that all of this news was VERY hard to keep to myself. :lmao:

Also, you all should be happy I'm having a boy.. that way I don't have to hand my camera over to my 4 year old daughter and have her take pictures of me doing Business in my Office!!!!!
:eek::eek: :lmao::lmao::lmao:
