DD's school handed out certificates for free Personal Pan Pizzas at Pizza Hut to all of the kids that met a certain reading goal, so we went today for lunch. The waitress was just about to the table with a refill on DW soda, when it slipped out of her hand and landed all over DW. Soaked her pants, shirt, and everything on the table. She offered a half-hearted apology and and got us a stack of napkins.
Now, I know it's not Disney World, but don't you think at least the manager would come over and say something? Nope.
When a situation like this comes up, I'm certainly not looking for a free meal or anything, but I think its just good customer service to at least walk over and apologize. So while I'm paying - and disputing the fact that they charged me $2 more for my pizza than what the menu said - I ask the guy if he can at least take off the cost of the soda that was spilled all over my wife. "Oh, yeah, I guess I can do that."
Guess who's never going back to Pizza Hut again.:headache:

I agree with Ron here that you need to call corporate!! I am a firm believer that the top brass sometimes needs to know what is going on. I do not want anything from them when I have contacted in the past, but each time I have received a call from HQ wanting more details and apology. For instance....on the way to a Marshall football game once...we walked past Dominos Pizza...on the marquee they the sign to say.."try our browinies they are effing Great!" Now, I was furious that this was placed in an area that kids would read it and ask what it meant...so I called corporate...a few days later they called me and apologized and said that what was on the sign was not something the company approved of...and that the manager was no longer with the company. Now, mind you, I had no intention of anyone losing their job, but sometimes stupidity needs a wake up call!

Ok just got off the phone with disney...trying to add deluxe pack-edge to my trip and some how trip was canceled and it took me about one hour to get everything back were it was. they said the never received my money any hooo...but do you believe the guy I was one the phone with wanted to argue with me... trying to say I can not one reservation for two rooms I have to have two different ones witch means $400 deposit...I was like you do see I have 8 kids and already have 200 some where out there and know you want 400 more and he was like yes...So I said forget cancel my trip and he so ok and canceled it and hung up on me. I think that was bad customer service PENUTBUTTER AND JAM AND FLUFF WAS READY TO COME OUT AT HIM..so I am calm know everything is straight and good so far....Ok back to what I came her to ask so I have deluxe dinning.....(9 nights and 7 days)....so with all the kids I have 144 snacks 216 meals:rotfl2: yes that is some serious meal planing so this is wear I hope you guys help me out with....I am going to use some double credits like I would like some character meeting meals..so need a little help there....and what about not so scary ting during Halloween is it really worth the money rember 8 kids:scared:...thank you for your help.....birdslight year

im with commando, i wouldnt think the halloween party would be worth the extra money. as far as the meal plans, i never did one, it never seem to work for us but you know what you spent on food last trip. :worship:

 wow!:sad2:

That totally sucks. I agree that at least an apology from the manager was due, if not at least charging you what the advertised price is.

I wouldn't worry about missing out on Pizza Hut going forward though, I hear they use sub-standard Canadian Cheese.

i didnt know canadians made cheese???:confused3 beer, snowmen, hockey sticks but not cheese.:lmao:

A great night of Trick-n-Treatin, beer drinkin, party, and hay-ride thru subdivision with children. The World Series may not have marquee teams, but they have been good games.

DW and I honeymooned at WDW 10 years ago. We stayed 5 nights and did 1 theme park each day with MK twice. My hair was not longer (I keep a buzz cut w/ mustache/goatee) but was a lot thinner. We stayed at one of the All-Star Resorts. We have had a lot of great times as well. Our favorite meal was Fulton's, and it is still our favorite all these years later.

I didn't know it was there but will check it out. I need to lose a lot of weight.

did you guys have the just married t-shirts?

Bunch of Trick or Treaters last night at the blockhead house, as usual. But we also had a ton of guests that just hung around, ate soup and watched football games for quite a while too. Good times. I honestly think that my kids like passing out candy better than they like going out. Lucky thing for us is that they can get a full bag just in our neighborhood, so we go out for about 30 minutes, get a full bag, then spend 3 hours passing stuff to others.

Soccer report: Murphy's law was in full effect yesterday in a 4-3 loss. Still trying to figure out how our team lost the game. Good lesson for the kids, though, to not take your opponent lightly as the team that won had not won a game all year.

Hope that everyone had, or has (depending on where you are from), a safe Halloween.

Actually, we had no idea about Disney. DW had never been to WDW. I had only been once with my parents, when I was 12 or 13. My parents did not want to go, but placated my requests by taking me to Epcot for 4 hours on the drive home from Spring Break. I rode 2 rides and walked the countries and that was my 1st Disney experience. :sad2:

So, when DW wanted to go, I was just thinking of the honeymoon night and really didn't care where we went. We went through a travel agent, who apparently did not know about dining reservations, 1st stay buttons, t-shirts, or anything else. We had a great time (during the day too) and have kept going back. When the children are out of the house, I want to take an anniversary couples only trip back there and get the groom/bride hats.

HAH. Finally figured out how to post pictures. Here is my picture on perspective. It all depends on where you stand as to how something reads :) I took this when we were at WDW this past June. Needless to say, we have had a lot of laughs about this one.

Trick or treating for us is tonight. We've been asked by many people if we're taking the little one out TorTing....sorry folks, she's only 4 weeks...I would love to but I'm afraid the candy givers would see thru my veiled attempt at "it's for the little one...":rotfl2:

Speaking of the little one...we've been doing more and more take out and delivery service. Love the Red Robin curbside Carry Out...don't even have to get out of the car. We've also had Domino's and Pizza Hut deliver recently...Domino's wins as you can order and pay online, and track the progress, even to the point where it tells you "Brad is leaving with your order." Although we think the pizza from PH was better.

When we were married, we spent 4 days in Disney and a week in Aruba. However, my DW was pregnant with our little "Lilly Belle" and couldn't really enjoy all the adult beverages and rides that we would have liked. We just decided to head back to Disney for our 1 year anniversary, leaving her with the MIL's for a few days each. :cool1: We want to try and stay at BLT, and since we're planning a sunday to Friday trip, we might have a shot when we book in November. Should be a blast. :woohoo:

Oh...and it's a Ghost Hunters Marathon today.

:thumbsup2 the big thing back in 1985 when we went was we got our park tickets before we got there.:woohoo: there was no internet. you could make a dining reservation for epcot at the end of spaceship earth were the photos pop up now. oh it was a big deal, you could see on the screen who you were talking to.:lmao: no fast pass, people would line up at the ticket booths at the ticket and transportation building to buy tickets. back then you could eat anywere in world showcase without a resi when ever you wanted. it wasnt busy at all.

Posting a picture is a two step process:
1) Upload the picture to the web somewhere - I use my own webhost, others use flickr or photobucket
2) in the body of your post, where you want the photo to appear, insert the following
Code:
[img]URL of the photo you want to post, ending in .jpg or .gif[/img]
