OK Dave I know you have to have one, let's see the roll of Mickey TP:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You know every time I convince myself to try Beverly again. I think it really can't be that bad. Then when I try it again, I remember how bad it is. I think just carbinated water would taste better.

Got to agree with this one. Never mind the Kool-Aid, don’t drink the Beverly!!!
(Hummmm, I kinda’ like that one)

Sure am glad I got the Dec trip paid off, My car threw my a Beverly today, Heater Core went (huge job), Driving to work today windows were fogged so I threw on the defogger, out came the mist of anti-freeze all over the windshield:scared1: luckily I made it work without getting into a accident:woohoo:. Took it to one of my car buds who took it right in, but will still have to send it out to a AC guy.

Ouch!! I actual had a similar problem. No sooner then we booked the December trip then I found myself forced to have my old truck hauled off to be repaired. First, it had been sitting for a couple of months (bad thing and I do know better, but…), then when I need it: bupkis. At first the repair seem fairly straight forward, but them we realized that the gas tank had started to rust on the inside and was clogging fuel filters as fast as you could put them in (well the thing is nearly 40 years old). Needless to say, a new tank for a 72 C10 plus replacing the entire fuel system and a carburetor rebuild quickly escalated to a much larger figure. Again I say: Ouch!! :headache:

DD's school handed out certificates for free Personal Pan Pizzas at Pizza Hut to all of the kids that met a certain reading goal, so we went today for lunch. The waitress was just about to the table with a refill on DW soda, when it slipped out of her hand and landed all over DW. Soaked her pants, shirt, and everything on the table. She offered a half-hearted apology and and got us a stack of napkins.
Now, I know it's not Disney World, but don't you think at least the manager would come over and say something? Nope.
When a situation like this comes up, I'm certainly not looking for a free meal or anything, but I think its just good customer service to at least walk over and apologize. So while I'm paying - and disputing the fact that they charged me $2 more for my pizza than what the menu said - I ask the guy if he can at least take off the cost of the soda that was spilled all over my wife. "Oh, yeah, I guess I can do that."
Guess who's never going back to Pizza Hut again.:headache:

Ummm…Errr…Aaaaa…Really??!! Sheezzz! :sad2:

We just decided to head back to Disney for our 1 year anniversary, leaving her with the MIL's for a few days each. :cool1:

Take advantage of that offer while it stands. We started our family a little late in the game and by that time My mom had passed and my MIL was on her own in no mood to be looking after youngins for more then a couple of hours. DW and I really haven’t had a trip (much less an evening out) for ourselves in years. Only now is my DS truly old enough to left on his own recognizance but long distance trips are still several years off.

i have a question, does any of my fellow disdads have any idea who may have mailed me a halloween card to were i work??? :lmao: i have no idea were this card came from. it was mailed from s.carolina and the only person i know that lives in s.carolina is my uncle. he is a 80 year old baptist minister so i dont think he would of sent me a card of that nature much less to were i work.:lmao: it was no problem, i was just woundering who sent it. i thinks its funny and its sitting on my tv.:lmao:

Wasn’t me, but if was really that funny, I’ll consider taking the blame for it. :rolleyes1

In case anybody missed it, they floated the Disney Dream out of it's construction building this past weekend. http://dclnews.com/

WooHoo!!!!! :woohoo: We’ve booked a cabin on board for five days in late June of 2011. Can’t wait. We’ve actually been able to keep that trip a secret from our DS. The plan is to have it be a surprise “Christmas present”, but we might just wait until his birthday to let him in on the surprise (then he’d only have one month to wait on it).

heres the last of them, i know, thank god. the first two are the powder room.

Peanutbutter!!!! I missed owning a page by a matter of seconds to Dave!

Got the quote today for the price of the heater core $1475 +tax:headache::eek: Only a few hundred less than a week at WDW:confused3

The thing that kills me is with all the tech on the newer cars & trucks they make it almost impossible to do it yourself. When I got out of school I went to a Auto school , I have a degree in Engine Rebuilding, Auto Body 1,2 & Advanced, have a 4 post lift & 7HP compresser with all the toys. On the Mustangs I could take out the engine and have it running by night.

On the new cars I won't even change the oil, never mind finding all the spark plugs, If some car company made a car that a problem could be pinpointed and repaired by a Car Buff Man instead of a computer & chip, they would be very sucessful:confused3

Outstanding sir....

Glad to be of service and you’re welcome. (BTW, I love that GIF… I’ll have to save that one for future use.

congrats rob!!! you need a ticker!!

I’ll probably add one for that trip after the holidays. I have it listed in my sig for now (my DS doesn't pay that much attention to what I post on the board, but a little bit of stealth is in order until we let him in on the secret)

Hummmm…. That’s an interesting idea, and It would add the fourth DCL ship to my sig, but it might have to wait until 2013 (as we’ve kinda’ promised our DS a DCL cruise as a graduation present) Now if I can find the money, I may just have to reconsider. Remind me once in a while and it will probably become so enticing that I’ll do it anyway
