Sure am glad I got the Dec trip paid off, My car threw my a Beverly today, Heater Core went (huge job), Driving to work today windows were fogged so I threw on the defogger, out came the mist of anti-freeze all over the windshield:scared1: luckily I made it work without getting into a accident:woohoo:. Took it to one of my car buds who took it right in, but will still have to send it out to a AC guy.

Back in the day I used to be a body man at a Lincoln/Merc dealership and I have all the Dealer books on how to fix anything in detail (same one's they use) this is a $1200-$2000 Job easy:scared1::eek::scared1:

Has anyone done the Pirate League? My wife would like to do that for her birthday present.

We did it last Nov. I think it has changed since then, when we went it was fairly new, everything was a package deal, now from what I read you get a package for makeup and everything else is ala-cart.

We got the best package offered it was $125 included makeup, outfit (head to toe), sword, hat, wig, pics, rings & bling, pirate name with keepsake, plus they did a parade for everyone who had it done that day. It was really cool, but check into it since now that it took off alittle I think it is alot more $$.

Check and see if they still do The Pirate Firework Cruise (This was cool:woohoo:) You have a pre cruise party at the Contemp, Cpt. Hook and Mr Smeed are there for pics (snacks and refreashments are searved) Then you get on a boat to go see the fireworks with a pirate as your host (does all kind of entertainment and trivia, gives out prizes etc) you see the fireworks on the lagoon, when you get back to dock, Peter Pan is there with Tink in lantern, then you can take pics with Peter Pan ( does not have lantern for pics)

IMO depending on what she wanted to get done at Pirates League, it might be a better value to do the firework cruise, that everyone would enjoy (depending on how many in party):confused3. I think it was like $59 per person.

 you got some serious eating ahead of you:woohoo: What ages are they and what is the boy/girl count:confused3

With 8 plus you & DW, I think I would skip the MNSHP (save yourself $550+), it was fun, but I think you trip is already costing you a mint.

With ten people, I think you qualify as a "Grand Gathering", which can get you access to some assistance from Disney in dealing with the large group. I don't remember details, but IIRC they have a special Grand Gathering meal at Tony's Town Square (where it's only open for Grand Gathering guests). I think they also have people designated as Grand Gathering Cast Members, and you might get more responsive and understanding customer service if you make sure you work directly with Grand Gathering folks when you call.

DD's school handed out certificates for free Personal Pan Pizzas at Pizza Hut to all of the kids that met a certain reading goal, so we went today for lunch. The waitress was just about to the table with a refill on DW soda, when it slipped out of her hand and landed all over DW. Soaked her pants, shirt, and everything on the table. She offered a half-hearted apology and and got us a stack of napkins.
Now, I know it's not Disney World, but don't you think at least the manager would come over and say something? Nope.
When a situation like this comes up, I'm certainly not looking for a free meal or anything, but I think its just good customer service to at least walk over and apologize. So while I'm paying - and disputing the fact that they charged me $2 more for my pizza than what the menu said - I ask the guy if he can at least take off the cost of the soda that was spilled all over my wife. "Oh, yeah, I guess I can do that."
Guess who's never going back to Pizza Hut again.:headache:

WOW...
That is about as inadequate as it gets. I can't believe the manager didn't even come out to apologize. I don't blame you for not wanting to go back, I sure wouldn't.

A great night of Trick-n-Treatin, beer drinkin, party, and hay-ride thru subdivision with children. The World Series may not have marquee teams, but they have been good games.

when dw and i went on our honeymoon. we stayed for 6 nights ... we went to the mk for 3 days, epcot for 1 and sea world for one. including the room, i had $1000.00 on me and we brought back about 100.00:lmao: ... i had longer hair, and we both were half the size we are now.:lmao: but we had alot of good times together at wdw.:thumbsup2

DW and I honeymooned at WDW 10 years ago. We stayed 5 nights and did 1 theme park each day with MK twice. My hair was not longer (I keep a buzz cut w/ mustache/goatee) but was a lot thinner. We stayed at one of the All-Star Resorts. We have had a lot of great times as well. Our favorite meal was Fulton's, and it is still our favorite all these years later.

Just want to remind everyone (and inform any of the new guys) that we do have a DIS Dad's Club W.I.S.H. (We're Inspired to Stay Healthy) Journal over on the WISH board (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2555749). If anyone is trying to lose weight, quit smoking, or anything, come on over. We can either be supportive of your goals or ridicule you mercilessly, whatever works for you!

I didn't know it was there but will check it out. I need to lose a lot of weight.

That totally sucks. I agree that at least an apology from the manager was due, if not at least charging you what the advertised price is.

I wouldn't worry about missing out on Pizza Hut going forward though, I hear they use sub-standard Canadian Cheese.

 Sounds like a call to Corp HQ is in order, I know what your saying about not looking for anything for free, it's the Principal of the matter, if they offer you anything, refuse it, HQ usally would ask what you would like to see done , tell them the Manager should go through somekind of training program or something, let HQ give Him/Her alittle redbutt:lmao::woohoo:
