Hmmm...an mp3 player hardwired through the overhead light. I guess if you have the automatic van doors, there is a motor there so should be able to splice into a power source somewhere. I'm sure after a few more beers, it would be a great idea.

How many ideas contain the phrase "after a few beers, this will be awesome!":lmao: That being said, Barry, if you do figure out how to get your Minivan to play the Monorail wav files, that should be a link on the home page, along with multi-quoting and posting pictures.:woohoo:

*clicks watch* :thumbsup2

This was in reference to the pre trip report. I cannot give Don trouble for taking a while. Our August 09 trip consisted of a picture frame purchase. Today is Sept 10, and the frame is finally put together. oops. :confused3
I really hope no one is dying to read my pre trip report or trip report. you may be waiting a while.

So, I downloaded the monorail.wav from http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/sounds.html and changed my sounds. So, everytime the computer logs on or off, you hear (really loud), "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas." I changed the sounds on ALL the computers, including DW's work laptop. She is

How do you download the wav? I cannot see anyway to do this.:confused3

Do you have a mac or a PC? I did it with my PC by right-clicking and save target as. I could then save it into my music and transfer to my iphone.

I really have to thank whoever found that treasure! I've spent the last hour downloading those files. Very worth it! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Been a rough week here...sorry to be a downer...just needed to unload for a minute and then go back to being the strong one again....Wife went to doc on Tuesday and got her Biopsy results of her Thyroid..well..it was cancerous...so surgery is scheduled for next Friday. She is worried of course ....I know exactly how she feels...because believe it or not 16 years ago I had Thyroid cancer myself...mine was Medullary kind and hers is Follicular. Say a little prayer that it is all self contained and that no further treatment after surgery will even be necessary. I have tried to tell her to think of happier things and the upcoming trip in December....Until the surgery is over there will be no feeling of safety for her. I managed to get a few days off to have a long weekend so I can be Mr Mom while she is recovering...Just remember us in your prayers and don't forget about me if I am not on here much for a bit...I am still around...just lurking a bit while other things settle out here
.

I will have Enzo add her to his nightly prayers as I will.

I have it in my Resort folder here it has 2 monorail files the short door one and the full loop

http://www.mediafire.com/?6tk89iss67gtv

I have individual folders for the each of the parks too if any one wants them

What I would really like if anyone has these items...

1...The new "In Ride" music loop for Space Mountain.
2...Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade...without Character parts...something about that song gets stuck in my head...kinda like iasw...but in a good way.
3..."How do ya do" from "Song of the South" and Splash Mountain.

When you find the file you want right click the link...and then select "Save Target As..."

Hey guys,
Wanted to stop in and say hi. Been really busy and haven't had a chance to get on lately. Once football is over things should settle down a bit.

Mind if I join?

Hi. My name is Jimmie. I'm a 50 yo Disney dad/grandpa. My wife & I have been married for 29 years and we've been going to Disney since 1990. We have two grown daughters who grew up going to Disney. Just last year, we took our first grandchild. Our second grandchild is on the way (due in March), and we can't wait to take him/her in a few years.

By day, I'm an elementary school music teacher. I was a high school band director for 25 years, up until 2008. When the grandkids started coming along, I decided the long hours associated with high school band were over. I now teach grades K-4. The hours are much better and the stress level is much lower, LOL!

As you can see, I've been a DISer for a long time. I heard about your club on the DISUnplugged Podcast, & decided to introduce myself.

:wave2:

Welcome... I am thinking you will fit right in...
:welcome:

Well weekend #2 of the Corn Maze. Already tossed 10 people out...well actually 3...but one guy had friends that left when I tossed him out.

First guy and crew had just started the Maze at night...got a report from someone that there was a group using allot of foul language...so I "staged" (aka hid in the corn) myself in the general area...and listened. Right as they walked passed me this girl in the group dropped an "F" bomb. I say "Please quit 'cussing'...this is a family environment." I believe she about soiled herself cause she had no idea I was there. Anyway they go around a few more time around they same circle...and I have to point them down the right direction...and I let them go as I did not hear anymore bad language...but I "stalked" them (this is following them from a path away) as I thought I had smelled alcohol on some of them.

They make it to the tower in the middle of our field...also near the end of Phase 1 of this years maze. My DS15 has met up with me now and I get to a point where I can observe these guys...and what do I see...move ment on the TOP level of my tower. See our tower has 2 levels...level 1 is for anyone who wants to get up there...accessable via stairs on either side of the tower...how ever level 2 is for employees only...and the only way up there is a built in ladder which we keep a gate locked over to keep people from getting up there. Well apparently monkey boy doesn't understand this concept. So I get him to come down...and say to the group...y'all are welcome to stay...but this guy has to leave. And supprisingly this guy is fully cooperative...and says he understands. So I lead him out and DS15 follows to make sure he doesn't make a run for it...the rest of his crew follow too. I must be one of those "buzz-killers" you read about.

CRUD...

Boy, I have a lot of reading to do. Welcome new Dads and welcome back Fed!

We had a trip that was both exhausting and a lot of fun this past week. Hundreds of pictures to sort through and upload, and I'll try and get a Trip Report going sooner or later here.

Explodo, DNSYFRK, and BirdsLightyear were all down there at various points during the same week, but I didn't get a chance to meet up with them. Hopefully they had a great time and I'll do a better job of meeting up with them in the future.

All in all, everything went great, except for the part where we left our cell phone somewhere in Florida... :confused3

Let me just start off with CRUD.

I just got back from 4 days in Canada visiting with my family so I haven't had a chance to check in since last Wednesday.

I'm going o go back and try to figure out what's been going on.

Welcome new Dads.

Rick, that is a very moving story that you shared with Disney and the pic is great of all of you.

Steve, we'll continue to pray for you and your DW.

Barry, congrats on becoming a land owner.

Mark, welcome back and I can't wait to hear about the phone bills for the calls to Cuba.

Sorry if I missed anyone. I've got an interesting week coming up I'm off to Miami to meet my new client. I'll be down there from Tuesday through Thursday.

I'm about to head up to bed, and it's now officially Monday morning, so I guess the stretch-run has officially begun. This is going to be an insane next few weeks.

Tomorrow - in the office at work.
Tuesday-Wednesday - in Omaha on work travel (return Wednesday, probably late afternoon)
Thursday - 2/3 day at work, then head home and get the final packing done with DW while my Mom entertains the kids out of the house. (They still have no idea that we're taking this trip)
Friday - wake up (and wake the kids up) at about 4:30 a.m. to catch our early morning flight to Orlando

October 1-9 - Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure/Walt Disney World

Oct. 11 - Columbus Day Holiday
Oct. 12-13 - Work travel to D.C.

Oct. 20-21 - Work travel to Cape Girardeau, MO (trial)

I may get a chance to come back up for air again sometime around Thanksgiving.

**Yawn**

Mornin' boys...just got caught up:surfweb:

Spent last week turning in gear, doing post deployment paperwork, closing out my file at my old Field Office, etc. etc..

Pretty much goofed off all weekend--had to replace fuel lines on my boat...ethanol ate up one of my lines--not a tough fix, but aggravating...

Welcome all the new guys!!!

Good job..:lmao::thumbsup2

I am particulary proud of your "hiding skills"......:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:rotfl2:
