Well it looks like lightning does stike twice, Last night I was checking my lottery tickets from when we were in VA, seems like I had a really lucky Weds night.

For the 2nd year in a row, my trip has been paid for by the lottery

And my wife thinks I'm nuts

Oh sure, just take all of our money and leave! Seriously, congratultions. If you win again, you should be on the hook for buying a round for the DisDads in December trip.

Hi guys. Been a while since I cruised through here.

Holy smoke...it is Hoter than the hinges of Hell out there today!!! Sheesh!!

I decided that I was going to induce a heat sroke anyway and get the yard back into shape...Needless to say I wimped out and only got the yard mowed and back flower beds weeded...to cars washed or garage cleaned out today!!!

This was also a day that I wish I had my video camera on at the right moment. The neighbors installed a flag pole in their yard today. Looks really nice. After the flag went up Ethan went over (not realizing that everyone was watching him) and put his hand on his heart and said the Pledge of Allegiance...and then finished off with singing "God Bless America" a the top of his lungs Everyone gave him a big cheer when he was done and I think he got embarassed. I was proud of him though!!! The boy knows to respect the Flag!!

It was actually the NJ lottery, if I won in VA the payout would have been better I do not have a problem at all picking up a round for a great bunch of Dad's in Dec.

Steve, glad to see you didn't drop on us You got alot more then I did today After years of working in the cold, I can't function well in the heat. Can't wait till the Dec trip I'll be in my prime by then

I'm currently serving in the NAVY and have been for about 10 1/2 years. We have our next trip to WDW next month. The wifey and all 3 kids will be there along with my mom and some friends flying in from Seattle. They've never been, so it's gonna be cool being able to play the touring guide. Can't wait to get off the boat and join the Facebook page. I think that sums it up for now. Everyone take it easy.

Well, you definitely have me beat. I started outside to wash the DW's van and the company car but once out there I realized that it just wasn't going to happen. It had to be in the mid 80's. And that was at 10 am. So I parked it in the lazy boy till DW asked if I'd drive her and the kids to the mall, for what else, bras. I had a little chuckle when I asked if she was buying them specifically for our trip in Oct. Looks like it's going to be another hot one here in the Charlotte area tomorrow forecast to be at 99, today's high was 98. Ugh!!!!

That's awesome that your boy respected the flag like that. I'm sure it made for one happy papa. It never fails with us either, kids do something really cool and the cameras aren't close, or the batteries are dead.

Kind of looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, the down side is 3 weeks till next vacation, the place will just start to get back to normal then I'll be gone again, Oh well

But on the up side, I'll be the coolest guy in town in the nice sub zero freezers, wish I could pipe in some of that cold air into my house, would really help on the AC bill I don't know about you guys but my electric bill doubled from last month
