North Carolina (that's two of us so far)

Learned 2 things today...

1] To feel instantly better about how you look...go to a Water Park in East Tennessee/Smokey Mountains.

2] To feel better about the crazy people in your Family...listen to the conversations while standing in line or just sitting around at said water park.

"I'm sorry Mam, but if you can't climb through the hula hoop, you're too big to go down the slide."

If you can't make it to East Tennessee, any state fair will usually do. And if you can't find one of those, try your local Walmart.

PENNSYLVANIA!

Still no official news from our son about "The Blues". He did receive a phone call from one of the LPOs Friday just to see how was doing and to let him know they were in Wisconsin for an air show. Funny thing ....... the call came in at 4:00 AM!!! He thinks it was hilarious! He was tempted to ask if he's "in" but he said he was too "out of it" from being asleep to think of much to say. :lmao: Seems to be a good sign. The new selectees are supposed to be notified this month and will begin their tours in October/November.

Our older son, his DW and our 2 DGDs have moved in with us temporarily until our son lands a permanent job. They couldn't renew their lease since they may be leaving the area. He is currently working a "contract" IT job about 1 1/4 hours from here in Pottstown, PA. It looks like he has a good chance of getting this permanently within the next two weeks. If so, they will stay with us for the summer (probably) so they can save some $$$$ for a house down payment. So, things have been in a little turmoil for about a week but it's settling down now. It's nice to have our DGDs here! If we could only take them to WDW! :sad2:

#2 from pa!!! nate, what has 140 legs and 3 teeth and is 100 foot long? the line for the funnel cake at the west end fair!!!! :lmao:

When you guys make ADR's at T-Rex do you ever get a time other than 3:30????? That is all I am able to get on any day I try:confused3

:lmao: dw started watching it and she feel asleep in 15 min so i got to change the chanel. just what i want to hear, another female complaining.:lmao: maybe if she wasnt such a bi#@% to her husband, maybe he would still be there. i give the guy all the credit in the world, he took her crap for a long time .i know i couldnt live like that.dw and i joke around but never do we treat each other and talk down to each other like that money grubbin, ok, who got me started already today???:lmao::lmao:

MF family and I were at TRex May 25, and we were able to get ADR for just about anytime that we wanted. If you cannot get the time you want from the Disney site, you can try calling the restaurant directly, as they only "save" so many reservations for Disney, and they keep so many reservations for themselves.

In April I got talking to one of the people at the front desk at AKV. She told me that T-Rex only holds one of each table size (2 seat, 4 seat, 6 seat, etc) each hour for the Disney ADR system. T-Rex actually has their own reservation line you can call which books all the remainder of the tables as long as you call more than 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately I couldn't find the number but I'll try to remember to get it when I'm there this week.

Of course you could also dial up the old People of Walmart web page to get a few giggles as well. :lmao:
That's one of the sites I keep in Google Reader so I always get updated when there's new pictures of my peeps. :rotfl2:

Yes, and I can't wait! This is the western part of Milwaukee's airport.

I've circled my office in red. We have a big picture window on the second floor of our warehouse that overlooks the end of runway 7R. When I need a little break, I'll walk out there and watch the takeoffs and landings. Last year, the Air Force Thunderbirds were in town for the Air Show, so we got to watch them up close. Those thrusters are so loud, you can just about feel the office shake. As they flew out on that Monday morning, the gave us a wave goodbye - they weren't more than 40 feet off the ground, and they're already doing barrel rolls.
Can't wait to see what the Angels have in store for us. Weather permitting, we'll be at the show on Sunday. :thumbsup2
