I told Emma's Dad I would post my video from Pixie Hollow, but I didn't want to hijack his TR, so I'm posting it here. It was during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in 2008. We had seen Iridessa, Tinker Bell, and Rosestta earlier that day, but DD really wanted to meet Silvermist and Fawn. We were told that they usually come out for the parties. So while DW and the kids finished eating dinner I went over to Pixie Hollow to get in line for when they opened at 7:00. Luckily, I was first in line. DS has had a long day at this point, as evident by his "interaction" with Silvermist. Anyway, here it is:

Since you can't see the video, I will now act it out for your using interpretative dance...but I guess you won't be able to see that either. What middlepat it referring to is in the beging, DD runs up to Silvermist with her autograph book. You can hear my wife telling DS "Evan, go take your book to Silvermist." He walks up to about 3 feet away from her, drops the book at her feet, and turns and walks away.

We are headed to the MK today also. We will get there around 4pm with the other Halloween party people! Ethan will be dressed as Fred Flintstone and Lauren will be dressed at Jasmine. I will have my Green Marshall hat on! LOL

I went to WDW when I was 4 (1980), 12, and then I moved to Tampa in 1995 and lived there for two years (eight trips), moved away and came back in 1998 and compiled only five trips (new dad at this point), and then two more trips since in 2002 and 2004. Preparing for our first on-site visit in a little over a month and, if things go well, we'll make it a yearly trip!

Fwiw, we've had the same blue-camo Mickey antenna ball for the last 8 years with a replacement snowman Mickey antenna ball kept in the door of the car for swapping only when winter rolls around.

We did the Halloween party this evening and arrived around 430. I kept waiting for Dave to come up and say something to me if he saw my Marshall hat on! Ethan got all kinds of remarks for his Fred Flintstone costume. He loved the attention. The crowds this evening were great!!

My MIL has decided to come visit us this Thursday - for 17 DAYS!

And, we don't have a big home so there is nowhere for me to hide (1000 square feet for me, DW, DS12, DS6 and MIL).

It's amazing how fast the party goes by isn't it? Between the fireworks, parade, charatcer greets, and trick or treating I think we only hit 2 rides before 12:00 rolled around.

Ys party time does fly by! I had no idea how late it was and it was time to go home. I had to be a bit nasty during the second parade last night to someone. We staked our place out and parked the kids right at the rope and waited for things to get started. Toward the end of the parade when they hand out stuff to the kids some lady puts her grandchildren right in front of my kids who had been there. I got pi$$ed. I did nto use any 4 letter words but I did let her know how rude she was and that she should have gotten there earlier. Maybe it was the heat gettin to me ha ha. I am usually not like that. it was still nearly 90 degrees at 11pm.
