Here's me.

You Are Kermit

Hi, ho! Lovable and friendly, you get along well with everyone you know.
You're a big thinker, and sometimes you over think life's problems.
Don't worry - everyone know's it's not easy being green.
Just remember, time's fun when you're having flies!

You Are Animal

A complete lunatic, you're operating on 100% animal instincts.
You thrive on uncontrolled energy, and you're downright scary.
But you sure can beat a good drum.
"Kill! Kill!"

um, I have nothing to say

Hello! :wave2: Hello! :wave2: Hello! :wave2:

Please accept my apologies for not posting more often these days! Words cannot express my ever-changing emotions right now. All is well, life is just crazy-hectic and I'm getting more and more uncomfortable each day.

I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday, the carpet cleaners are coming Friday, we've rented a U-Haul to move the furniture on Sunday, our new bedroom set is being delivered on Monday...you get the idea.

Alyssa still hates the pool at 10:30 a.m., though for some reason she didn't scream her head off yesterday morning. Much to my dismay, the crying and "no, no, no!!!" returned today.

I haven't even called to arrange internet hook-up in the new house after we unplug the computer Saturday! :sad2:

You are all in my thoughts, and I love seeing all the pictures that have been posted. Here's lots of :wizard: and :grouphug: and :cool1: and :cheer2: for everyone.

For those of you wondering how big I am, with just a few weeks to go, I will post a picture from a picnic we attended on Sunday. :)

Take care everyone!
Amy :)

Well, all I have to say is Wow! I looked that pregnant at 5 months. If I could look as good, pregnant, as you do, I might consider another pregnancy!

Oh that looks great! Maybe I will do color then! Did you cut out the Cars logo on the bottom? Thanks for posting the picture...

I am going to take the kids in the pool in the backyard..DH has his laptop (he's in Buffalo) so I can't DIS out there..be back later!!!!
Yes, I cut the Cars logo out separately. Thanks everyone for the compliments :)

Well, I am not sure...I am ordering 5, one way or another because I want a set. I am not sure if Christy & her family or Susan & her husband would be coming to the Mickey/Minnie ceremony. I think Christy would however order the shirts for the cruise. give it some thought, I am open to suggestions...

I sure wish they would show a bigger picture. Those look cool from what I can see. I'd be willing to go for those. Can everyone that would want to wear matching be able to afford those? I can no problem. I might order them anyway. I'll definitely have to check out the exclusive pins when we get to Disney. Kristine, thanks again so much for inviting us to do this with you and doing all the work to make it happen.

Now that is a very good tradition... but they don't make six pences anymore :rotfl: I could send a two pence though... maybe a penny would be better as she has small feet... :goodvibes
I thought you could still find them there. My MIL's friend brought me one back from a business trip for my wedding.

Okay after this week I think we should change our name to DDA&E

Disney Design Addicts and Enablers!!

Weddings for stuffies

POTC

meets

Happy meals

the list could go on. :rotfl2:

I'm finally all caught up!

I've had a busy but very productive day. By 8:00am this morning I had a check from State Farm for my car :cheer2: . Christopher had swim practice this morning then I had my carpets cleaned at home. The smell is about to knock me out! After the carpet cleaning I spent 3 hours at Walmart buying groceries and a few other things we need. I'm taking it easy until Brian gets home then we have to put all of the beds back together, furniture back, etc.

We'll be painting and finishing up Christopher's room and the nursery this weekend so y'all don't be too chatty!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Well I just got home from my Literate Laity(that is such an odd name) book club. The book this month was The Tortilla Curtain. I disliked the book immensely....and after an hour and a half political debate I HATE it. But I am also the youngest in the group and in a very different socioeconomic group than the rest of the crowd. Cassidy will more than likely be reading it next year and I am just not sure I want my 14 year old reading the naughty words, the politics and other not so nice things in it.

On the bright side it was also our meeting to decide the books for the coming year and while we have some of what I consider snorers, I think we have a very nice collection!!! This year I couldn't even finish half of the books they were either too textbook, too political, or something I had already read (and hated). And my need to be thorough came in handy...I am charge of the list of choices and the balloting...that part only took 15 minutes (thank goodness because it was after 9) and everyone complimented me on the ballots and information!!

Would you mind sharing your list? I love to keep a running list of books to read so I can check them out from our library. I'm just finishing up "Like Water For Chocolate" for our book club this next week. It's really a fun read. A Mexican tall tale/romance. I have to host book club, so I'm working out some fun treats to go along with the book. Food Network has a recipe for chocolate burritos that I'm going to try. Sounds yummy, yes?

Aw man, it's going to come and ruin my weekend isn't it! Since I offered to go to the farm and go strawberry picking this weekend of course it is. Maybe we'll just be getting Terra's picture taken and hanging out at the mall or Chuck E Cheese.

You are always welcome to come to my house to pick strawberries. Our little patch is really producing. Then we also have a hedge of raspberry bushes, black raspberry bushes that are also mass producing. I had the kids out there this morning picking as fast as they could before it got too hot. I'll freeze the berries, and when I have enough, I'll make some jam. Paula, I'm going to try adding some berries to your kiwi jam recipe. I'll let you know how it goes.

DH bought me a red currant bush for mother's day 4 years ago, and it is really full of currants. I've never done anything with them, but would like to try some currant jelly. Anyone ever tried making this? Any advice?

Well it's official.I have a "tweenie"..My 10 year old said those 3 words
"I hate you!" yesterday. I apparantly ripped up a piece of paper that I assumed was garbage but was something she wanted so that was her response. She is such a good girl & I felt her reaction was too extreme for what had occurred...Maybe they have hormones at 10??? I don't know but I was pretty taken aback since as I said she is a good girl & I didn't do it intentionally. I do find we are fighting more each day about what clothes she wears down to the smallest things in the house like brushing her teeth . If I ask her to do something simple she throws a hissie..anyone have words of wisdom...I am so sad my baby is so snippy & moody now..

Her punishment was 1 week no tv...don't know what else to do.

I'm so sorry! My Katie turns 9 next week, and her attitude it definitely getting more "tweenish". Yikes! Nobody told me this parenting thing was going to be this hard!

I like to keep the mickey plates that some of the kids meals come on - they are plastic - buy we bring them home and they go in the top rack of the dishwasher! they are great and my kids LOVE using them!!

I also like to get
extra park maps
room keys
stickers from the CMs
coloring pages
place mats (for special occasions at some of the restaurants)

I've done that with the kids meal plates. My kids love to use them. They are really handy for a Disney pick me up between trips!

so Nick isn't potty trained

he has been in VBS this week and I have been very worried b/c it is his first class setting - the first two days he did so-so and didn't make it all the way through the day and spent some time with me in the office

yesterday he did great
and today he did awesome

his teacher (one of my friends) tells me 1/2 way through today's class that he is doing awesome and she can't believe how well he does on the potty for how young he is -

you can imagine the confused look on my face - I said "Kim - Nick isn't potty trained" she said - well he is now - he goes in everytime we go and goes potty! I was in shock

she pops in the office about 1/2 hour later - Nick told them he had to go potty and went poop in the potty!!!!!

I told her she could plan on having him at her house next week!!! :rotfl: Now I just need to translate this to home!!!

Wow! A mother's dream come true! Someone else potty training the child.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that Nick can get the hang of it at home.

My girls are in Chicago! Yeah!!! They will be winging their way back to the UP in about 1/2 hour. They'll be back in the U.P. in a little over 2 hours. Double Yeah!!!! They said it is nice being able to understand the people around them and be able to read the signs.

Hi everyone--
HAPPY FRIDAY! i am finally all caught up and hopefully can start posting a lot again. I dont have any plans this weekend and i am thrilled--cant wait to just relax!

Ok, I'm absolutely furious.:furious: I just got a call from Katrina. There is a "slight" problem she says. Grandma doesn't have a seat on the plane and she might not be able to come home tonight. I'm furious with the airline. It would not let me book the seat numbers when I made the reservations or before they left. They told mom & the kids not to worry about seat assignments when they checked in to fly to Japan. They just told my mom to be optimistic that 3 people don't show up for the flight. OPTIMISTIC!! I'll give you optimistic! I realize that Becky isn't exactly young but mom is still flying with a minor. Becky & mom were booked on one reservation and Katrina was booked on another. How Becky got a seat I don't know! I'm also upset with mom and the kids. I told them to make sure that they were given seat assignments before they left the states. I told them that I was concerned this might happen. Did they listen to me? That would be NO! :sad2:

Now mind you, the girls & mom are fine with the turn of events. Katrina's boyfriend is picking her up at the airport anyway so Becky can just stay with Katrina for the night. Mom can fly in tomorrow, pick Becky up and then they can drive to Engadine. They are all wondering why they called me because it just upset me. Well, DUH! The airline had better pay for mom's room for the night and some meals. The airline had also better give my mother a free ticket or something for her trouble. No matter what they do, they will be hearing from me!

I can feel my blood pressure rising. Can I find a phone number to call? Of course not!!!!!
