I'm subscribed to that thread and I was :rotfl2: when I saw that picture!!!
If you spend enough time at Sea World this type of behavior is extremely common, especially with the Dolphins in the spring time. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: I heard so many parents freaking out that they needed to do something to stop the behavior, especially in the underwater viewing areas. Constantly hearing, my child can't see that, make it stop

They are wild animals and weigh way more than you, what they heck are the staff people supposed to do. :confused3 I'll throw you in so you can do something to make them stop, if it makes you feel better.

Before I forget, we got Chuck's x-ray results. It shows degenerative arthritis in his spine & hands. Don't know exactly what that means (you nurses might). I did a little research on the internet and scared myself.

Before I forget, we got Chuck's x-ray results. It shows degenerative arthritis in his spine & hands. Don't know exactly what that means (you nurses might). I did a little research on the internet and scared myself. We see the doctor again in 2 weeks so decided I better wait to talk to him before getting myself worked up. Reminder to self: Vicki try not to worry about things before you know the details. It just ruins today. The prednisone is helping but we think he needs to split it & take half at night and half in the morning (instead of all in the morning). The doctor told us he could do that if he needed to. Chuck wanted to give it a week to see how he does. He wakes up quite stiff in the morning. He is back to work but is tired in the evenings.

He also wants to go do something fun and for himself so what does he choose ... kayaking. I'm really worried to try to give it a try! What will I do if his hands cramp up and we can't get to shore! I'd have to try and tow him (we always have a tow rope with us as I teach kayak safety). Or worse, he can't get out of the kayak. I picture me having to tip him into the water to get him out of it. I think I'm going to try him into geocaching instead. He is not having any trouble walking and we like to explore new areas.

Thanks again for all the thoughts & prayers.

Vicki, when a friend of mine got MS, one piece of good advice she recieved was to stay away from the net. Wait for the doctor to tell you how YOUR situation is. The internet will scare the bejeezus out of you. For my disorder, I had picked out my urn. Seriously Told all my friends which songs I wanted sung at my memorial service.

My condition is not life threatening, yet. But if I had continued to scour the net until the doctor talked to me, I would have just rolled up into a ball and died.

I took my steriods in the am and the pm too. Be sure to tell Chuck to drink water!!! :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 Tons of liquids.

Hey, she might not be eBaying or buying more stuffies (I'm done with that by the way), but have you seen what she has bought. Tommy has a raincoat & hat, Harley davidson hat & coat, boots, sweatshirt, and she now says that he has new rainboots.

I have all the stuffies that I need as gifts (including myself) so I'm done buying those. A lot of the purchases I was doing were for friends & family! Really!!! I'll send you the list when they all get sent out.

shorts, t shirts, secret item that you will flip over.... I think she has spent every yard sale dime on MTM... And is happy to do it!!!

The seniors and preschoolers love him so. And my boss... the BIG boss, loves MTM... I'm in awe.... :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: You have made her week. Maybe her month...

When Kristin was 5 she wanted to get her ears pierced. Bob had a rule that our daughters could not have that procedure done until they could explain to him why they wanted two extra holes in their heads. Kristin's reason was that with pierced ears no one would think she was a boy (she had a Dutch boy haircut).

Well, that was good enough for him, so off we went to the mall to get her ears pierced. We had all told her it would hurt, but there was no changing her mind. They got the first earring in and she was off that chair in a flash! There was nothing I could do to convince her to come back and have the second one done. I told her I would be waiting outside the store entrance and she could come tell me her decision out there because I did not want everyone in the store to have to listen to her crying. I sat on the bench and watched Kathrin talk to Kristin quietly for about two minutes and then they went back in and had the other ear pierced.

When they came out I asked Kathrin what she said to Kristin. She replied, "I just told her she looked MORE like a boy with only one earring."
OMG that is an interesting reason to get earrings. :teeth: My mom wouldn't allow us earring until we could take care of the responsibility (cleaning our ears etc.) I got mine peirced at a mall when I was 10 but they did something wrong and I got a severe infection and ever since I have been allergic to metal. :confused3 I had to let the holes close so I was always jealous of my older sister and her cool earrings. She had ones for every holiday. :guilty:

I just gotta think that they are wrong with the predictions so my DD Guenna will not have any damage.

My laundry room and music room are damp. Pat's ceiling is damp. My furnace room has a puddle. My DSIL was wet/vacing until just a few moments ago. He's got water duty tonight.... :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella:

well, as far as I am concerned, the rain can just stop right now.

Stephanie came into work and told us we were all signed up to help her build an Ark :lmao: :lmao:
I asked her later on if I should go out and get a pontoon for my car? :rotfl:

On the way home the one place that always floods was just about there. It is a small bridge over a creek that always floods and I always wonder how the house or I should say Mansion there survives. It is a beautiful place that has just lovely gardens and during the Christmas season they decorate it so beautifully. But they must have a backup system to stop the water.

But my DD called and said they are calling for about a foot more water than they got two years ago in September. This could mean water on the first floor but we are not sure how much. When you first walk in, it is the sitting room then the dining room and then a step up into the kitchen and back to the family room. She has the dining room set I gave her that was ours for so many years and before that it was my DH's parents set. I might be leaving work early to help take care of Nicholas so they can move things. I just hope they are wrong with their predictions so she will be spared.
Down the street one good friend of theirs has his house and bar and they will probably get water damage and another friend is just fixing up another pub for reopening.
I am actually going stir crazy because I am not sure which way to go to work and if I will have to backtrack due to flooding. So I might be in for a wild ride to work.
At least MTM has boots now to go with his raincoat and hat!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes
:wizard: for DD and her home. You guys look like you're having so much fun w/ PM that I think we're going to have to get one now. :thumbsup2

Does that mean that I would have to go to Dr Phil too???????

Stephanie would vouch for me :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yeah sure she's sane, I would say with my golden ears, I'm never growin' up tshirt, GOH badge, Mickey eyeglasses, Mickey umbrella, Mickey license plate, Mickey socks, Mickey laptop carrier. Yup. They'd take my word..... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I think since my two grandson's are too little to know about Disney, I have to live vicariously with MTM.
When my little guys are 5 and 6 years old tho' I told the parents, they are going to WDW :goodvibes :rotfl:

So my Mom and I made a last minute bus trip to Atlantic City today. I am glad we took the bus as it poured the whole way there and back but it was gorgeous there. No rain, partially sunny and windy: great weather for the beach and boardwalk.

On the other hand here it rained like 3+ inches and it is supposed to rain another 4 to 5 inches overnight and keep raining through Friday. I think I need to buy a boat.

So many bodies of water are way past there flood stages already and it is supposed to keep raining. Making the waters at higher levels than ever. I hope all of you are safe and don't have any flooding or damage from the storm. If you see standing water please don't drive through it. Sending :wizard: and :grouphug: to all for :sunny: and dry weather.

Of course I have the week off from work and it rains like all week. :rotfl2: :lmao: I was gonna go to Hersheypark on Sunday after the bridal shower but didn't because it was raining there, they had 5 inches of rain in a few hours. It has been crazy here. I just saw a rescue of someone off there car you couldn't even see the roof and they needed a boat about 5 miles from where I live. They are also evacuating people from there homes. Its craziness.

I know we needed rain but why couldn't it have been spread out over the past 6 months instead of all at once. :confused3

I should be ok as I live in an elevated area but lots of surrounding roads have creeks and streams and things that flood easily. It should be interesting.
:wizard: Hope the rain slows down for all the areas flooding.

I promise that I will take very good of MTM.
Plus if there is anyone who needs a good hug from him, I would be willing to send him. I cannot believe how much fun I have had with him.
Yes Stephanie is sure that when I get home from visiting my sister in Marietta, Ga that if no one has complained, that the men in the white coats will not be at the airport to pick me up :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
:goodvibes Hope you continue to have fun with MTM.

Our station stopped beeping. It just has the crawl. I went to Home Depot and bought the last 6 gallon wet/dry vac. The next smallest they had was 8 gallons! They are moving like milk during a snow storm!

The lady in front of me bought a sump pump. Another hot item. She has a foot of water. My DSIL just finished vacuuming the basement. This is NUTS!!!! :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella:

We need to build an ark...:sail: :sail:
:wizard: Rain, rain go away. Hope that you get :sunny: soon.

:grouphug: Try not to worry, I know easier said than done. Something I try to do is pray about it and than hand it over to God. (I like to actually write thoughts down and than rip them up or burn them as a figurative way of letting go to God.) Everytime you go to pick it back up just repeat an encouraging bible verse or say a quick prayer. :wizard: for you and Chuck. I have often thought geocaching looked fun but never gathered enough info. on it. :)

They are preparing to evacuate Front St. in Harrisburg. Including the Governors Mansion. This is nuts... :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella:

Thank God for my DSIL. He is downstairs wet vacing the basement as I type.... :sail: :sail:
Driving through Philly today was scary as the water was already almost in the houses on Boathouse row, the Schuylkill river in that area was full of some fast moving rapids. I was thinking it would be fun to White water raft it, as it was moving so fast and it was so high. It was so weird to be thinking that I could be White Water rafting that area of river as it is normally pretty smooth through there.
By tomorrow they think they might have to evacuate them as of so much rain. It is crazy, crazy, crazy.

Rain, rain go away to Louisiana or Oregon or any other place that desperately needs it. Come here some other time.

Oh one more thing on Chuck - he has improved enough that I'm back sleeping in our bed. He did say that he kicked me last night because I hurt him some how but I don't remember it. His kicking me wasn't intentional!
:love2: That's good news.

With that I am also heading to bed...trying to get rid of my 3 day old headache... and get ahead at work so no one calls me while I am on vacation. 5 on Friday can not come soon enough for me!!
:wizard: Hope your headache goes away soon.

Has anyone talked to Denise? :confused3 I was just wondering how Rees is doing and how she is doing as I remember her being sick when they got back from the beach.
