I never saw purple stripe. I believe my dark had the blue/red lines.

ETA: But now that I think about it I'm not sure, so wait for someone else to answer before you trust what I think!!

My dark has a red and blue line
Hopefully I will post pics this week of my shirts
Thanks to all the designers

I hope everyone had a nice day!

I loved all the pictures Denise and Kristine...you must be so proud! :goodvibes

I'm definitely YEARS behind on scrapbooking, but maybe now that I have a craft room, I'll get caught up one of these days. ;)

Steffy and Terry, great to see you posting!

Becky, you've had an exhausting weekend...hope you can get some rest!

Julia, welcome home!

Clare, love your "you" in your signature. :teeth:

Kate, how was the wedding?

Alyssa is watching Peter Pan, and she's getting a little nervous about the crocodile, so I better cut this short. Hi :wave2: to everyone else...sending you all a big :grouphug:

Amy :)

Here's another angle of the kitchen. There's a huge walk-in pantry (on the other side of the refrigerator), but I didn't take a picture of it:

Love the pictures of the house. Your craft room looks great. I wish I had a pantry. Just never have enough room for it all.

Kristine--great photos! What great looking "babies" you have.

Amy--CONGRATS on the new house. It is beautiful!

Denise--I can't remember if I told you that I loved the photos from BK's recital. They did make me a bit nostalgic for the days that my "baby" did ballet.

Hi everyone--there is no way i can catch up fro mthis weekend--so i just wanted to post that i was home!

it was an INCREDIBLE weekend!!! It was very hard and there were many tears shed, but we also had alot of happy moments and we made a lot of good friends. Alyssa's family was so nice and we enjoyed spending the time with them, and we are planning on going back again for a longer visit..
Last night we ended up watching a movie of Alyssa and looking through pictures..We got to see her room, which was pretty emotional, but it was so cool.
Today, we went to the actual Kride event..This was amazing!! there was a 100, 50, 25, and 10 mile ride, so before each one went, they dedicated it to alyssa and alyssa's mom/sister got to cut the ribbon. My brother did a great job and ended up finishing 2nd of the 10mile riders--he is aiming to do 25 miles next year! The weather ended up being good--a bit rainy on and off, but nothing too horrible. We got to hang out with her family and friends and they just accepted us as family...

I wanted to share some pictures! (i know , i go way too overboard sharing pics!)

This is my brother and I before he started the ride

I wanted to thank you all for supporting me so much lately..its been a rough month (today is one month since Lyss died)..I appreciate it more than you can know!

Amy, the house looks great
Denise, great pics of BK - looks like she had fun
:wizard: :wizard: and :grouphug: :grouphug: for Rees, please let me know if there is anything I can do, what time it the surgery and which hospital???
Kristine the graduation and b-day pics are great

Kristine - it looks like you survived the weekend! You must be so proud. Jonathan is a handsome young man and he is off to start quite an adventure. You look beautiful too. Much better than in that muggy FL humidity. The younger ones look like they are having a great time. I take it the man with the beard is your ex?

Amy - the house looks lovely. I especially like the retaining wall around the pool and the flower beds. I bet you are so excited to be moving. Any bites yet on your other house?

Jen - I'm glad you had a good weekend, with family and friends, remembering Alyssa. I'm sure she is smiling down on all of you at the way you are celebrating her life. I really like the picture you had on the back of your shirts.

Arrrgghhh.........this stupid server!!!!!!!!!!! :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

Marci, how's your DH's bite today?

We marked it last night to see if it grew any. If it did, he agreed to go to the ER. It didn't grow, but it doesn't look any better. He's going to see the doctor first thing tomorrow.

Denise -- Thanks again for all the advice and information, and for checking up on him.

We continue to keep Rees, you and the rest of the Figs in our prayers, and will check in several times tomorrow to see how he is doing.

So no more group home for me. I have worked all of my scheduled shifts and refuse to work anymore. I will leave the phone on like I am supposed to but I will have the volume turned off. As after what happpened yesterday, I was considering walking out and leaving the consumers by themselves and not showing up last night. But I didn't have the audacity to do so but was seriously considering it.

I worked at the one job from 8:30am to 4:30pm on Friday, came home and attempted to sleep. I worked midnight to 8am at the group home. Or that was what I was supposed to work there. I was supposed to be at my other job at 8:30am. That never happened as the person who was supposed to work at the group home never showed up. :guilty: I ended up having to call my manager so she could work there. I am so glad I have an understanding manager who was able to work as otherwise it could have stunk big time.

I called at 8:05am to get someone to come in and told them I needed to be at my other job at 8:30am. No one called back by 8:15am so I called again, they said that they would call someone to look for someone. No one called by 8:30am so I called back. Finally someone called back and said they were trying to find someone I said I had to be at work at 8:30am and I was now late. I called my manager to tell her that I didn't know that if I would be able to make it to open at 9am as I was still waiting for someone to show up. She told me she would open and that I should just show up at 11:30am like she was originally supposed to. Which I thought was super nice of her.

I called several more times to try and get someone else to look to find someone else to come in. Someone called back and asked how long I can hold out and I said I was supposed to already be at my other job at 8:30am by this time it was already almost 9:30am :furious:. They said I should have told someone that and I was like I have told that to every person I have talked to and it hasn't done any good getting anyone to show up yet. By this point I was serioulsy considering just walking out and leaving as the consumers were all sleeping.

About this time my Mom called me and asked where I was and I said I was still sitting at the group home. She was like what do you mean, I thought you were supposed to be at your other job. I said I sure am, but no one showed up here so I had to call my manager so she could work. My Mom told me I should just not show up for my last shift and should call off, but I didn't feel that was fair to the people who would have to find someone to replace me. My Mom finally understood why I handed in my two week notice as she couldn't believe this happened. It was like a  went off in her head.

It was almost 11am, by the time someone else showed up and this person came from another home to just sit there. As I said I absolutely had to leave and couldn't stay anymore and I needed someone to get here ASAP.

I ended up going straight to my other job and was there till 8pm. My manager couldn't believe that it took that long to get someone else to show up to replace me. I went home and slept for a tad bit before I had to go back at midnight. 20 hours of work in a row and I had to do 8 more. But I survived and it is all over. They are not getting me to work, no matter how hard they try. :cool1:

I gotta get crap together for bridging on Wednesday night. Too much to do and too little time. Plus I have a headache that won't go away. Not sure how much I will be around.

Becky -- I'm so glad that you are out of there. Congrats for taking the high road on the way out! I hope you are getting some rest now.

Denise - sending you all prayers and :wizard: for an easy day tomorrow and a speedy recovery. I'm sure you all are very nervous and anxious, so here is a :grouphug: for everyone. Hopefully you smiled a little. :teeth:

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

Good night.

Amy -- the house looks wonderful! The pool area is just beautiful, and I'm so jealous of the craft area! My mother owns a scrapbook shop, but I don't have the time to start scrapbooking, even though I own a lot of tools/product. If I had an area where I could organize everything and then leave it in progress, I might not be so intimidated to start.

Kristine -- the pictures of your family are awesome. I know you are so proud!

Jen -- thanks for posting the pictures from your weekend. Alyssa had a lot of caring friends and family at the ride. I'm glad you were able to spend some time with them.

Becky-

Hope the headache goes away quickly and the bridging goes well like I know it will !!

Ok, quick post.

Amy, love the pics of the new house. Congrats!

Kristine, congrats on graduation and happy b'day all in one day!

Jennifer, glad the bike ride went so well.

Welcome home, Julia. Surgery is at 10am at Egleston.

Marci, glad the size wasn't bigger today. It can't hurt to have it checked out tomorrow.

And, I did make Rees' PM 3 shirts tonight. The Anniversary one is so cool. It plays more games and sings. And the hand supposedly lights up when you see that emblem in the parks. How fun! Here's the shirts.

I will call Marti, Kate, or Amy tomorrow to have them post for me. I should hopefully be home Tuesday. My mom arrived around 10pm tonight (got delayed due to bad weather at the airport).

Thanks again for all the prayers. Love you all.

I'm catching up on the last 48 hours of activity here. Denise, I'm glad that you have the PM for Rees. I hope that his surgery goes well tomorrow. :wizard: I have a surprise for you too, but you'll just have to wait until I have time to work on it :thumbsup2 If only school were done, I might have a spare minute. Oh well.

Amy, love the new house. I am so jealous of the craft area. I was supposed to have a craft room in our house, but it is now Colby's bedroom :teeth:

Marci, I hope the spider bite looks better tomorrow, I'm glad he plans to have it rechecked. Brown recluse bits can be very bad.

Kristine, Wow, I'm sure that you are a proud Mom today. You all look so happy.

Becky, I'm glad you are finally finished with the job. I hope you gain some normalcy in your life.

Jen, I'm happy that you got to spend quality time with Alyssa's family and that the ride went well. It was very nice of you and your brother to do this.

Glynis, Your on your way now, have fun.

I'm sure I missed some important stuff. Please forgive this tired brain.
 Hello to the rest of you.

I HATE shopping!!!

I just spent 3.5 hours at the mall, intending to buy some new summer clothes for work/church and came home with nothing. Well, not exactly nothing. I did buy one bathing suit, after trying on about 20. So it wasnt a total waste of time, and I actually like and feel good in this suit (tankini) that I got. I had another one that I wanted to buy, but it was a Nautica and not on sale...$96!! No way! But as for clothes shopping, I really have trouble deciding what looks good, what to buy, how to mix and match. What is wrong with me?! I thought shopping was supposed to be in our genes!

I am so there with you!! Hated doing that last week....I came home with one shirt and one skirt......but still not happy with the selection!! I hate how everything is so expensive too!!

I haven't felt so good today, nothing specific, just yucky. I did manage to do my grocery shopping and I've completed most of our costumes for next weekends Mardi Gras camping trip. I haven't started packing the camper yet. The weather has turned cold and rainy so I'm not too motivated. I will have to work on it during the day this week as I'm working Mon, Tues and Thurs nights this week instead of my normal weekend shifts. I guess time will fly this week. I'm headed to bed as I'm pretty tired, have been all day :confused3

Night All
