The hospital just called, and Rees goes Thursday at 9:15am to register with the surgery at 11:15am. I have a feeling we'll be there for a while.

Hey, I just got 34000, and I noticed! It was unintentional, but I'm doing a Happy Dance now!!!

I think Value season would be the best for us. How is February/March for everyone?
March sounds good. :thumbsup2 As for on-site never done that at WDW or DL. I have heard great things about some of the off-site hotels at DL and the trolleys drop you off closer than the monorail from the on-site hotels or the trams from the parking lots. We drove and parked the first day and after that used the trolley(ART). Much easier.

Garrett seems to be doing ok. He tends to hold his feelings in at times. When my mother passed away he did not show alot of emotion till the funeral. I found him sitting in the back crying as hard as could be, broke my heart.

This is so sad. Prayers for the family and for Garrett too. I hope he is not having a difficult time with it. What a shock it must be for everyone.

Beth, I hope you feel better. Wasn't someone else sick too? Sorry,my brain is blank, but sending everyone hugs!

Janet, I'm so sorry about Garrett's soccer coach. That is so sad. Prayers for the family.

I skimmed the past few days. If I missed something big, could somebody post it?

Ok, ok, already! I'm asking! What do you think we should do? Onsite or off? Is there transportation available from either? Which would you recommend?

Are you kidding me Glynis?

Have you ever been to any of the hotels?

They only have three hotels onsite. DH and I are big believers in walking off what ever we eat so we do a lot of it. Now they have the Monarail you can get on from DTD just after leaving the DL hotel area.

I will find a map and post it later.

I have stayed at the California Grand and Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Peir was next on my list. I have also stayed right outside the gate and walked the same distance.

I tell you what, I will write up a little diddy later. Bethie just poped a fever and I need to get her taken care of.

I will have info later tonight.

Hugs to you too. I do know exactly what you are going through. Know I am with you 100% in Faith and Spirit. PM me if you need to talk. Hang in there. You're DS is lucky to have a mom fighting for him.
Thanks. I would love to chat with you sometime when Rees is doing better. :wizard: I will be praying for your family and Rees extra this week as you get ready for another surgery. :wizard:

Hi, everyone. Thanks for checking in on me. Vicki, you have such an ACCENT! When I got up today (I went to bed last night at 6:15pm), DH told me you called. I listened to the voice message. What a sweetie you are! Rees is hanging in there. He goes Thursday to the hospital for general anesthesia for another Endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound. I'm really sick with a sinus infection that has spread to my lungs. First doctor's appt available is on Wed afternoon. I worked all day Friday teaching. Found out they had extended the school year (without telling anyone by one day), so I also had to work all day today. Taught the prenatal class from 8am to 5:30pm on Sat and my in-laws came in town for the weekend. To put it nicely, I'm wiped out completely physically and emotionally.

Tomorrow BK has Ballet Recital rehearsal at 5pm and Davis has a party until 4:30pm. DH is working late tonight through Wed pm and won't be home until 10pm each night so he can take off all day Thursday to watch BK and Davis. Wed is teacher work day all day, Thursday is the hospital. I hope Friday is the beginning of some down time for us all.

Oh, and my kiddos were the blessed recipients of one of Paula's SSP! It is overwhelming! DH and I opened it yesterday afternoon as our babysitter had put it in our spare bedroom and didn't tell us. It is AWESOME!!!!! The kids got so much stuff, and we're giving some this week to Rees but saving most for their b'day. I can't even believe how great it is. I will try to post some pics once they find out about it all. Paula, you are really an angel, and I want to PayPal you some money. You went completely and utterly overboard. It must have taken you 40 hours to make it all! I don't even know how to thank you.

Oh, and PM has a new towel from Paula and a BAB (tiny one) from June. Very cute. Rees loves PM and is getting one for his b'day. Thanks for fueling the Disney fantasy around here. BTW, who does PM go to next and when do I need to mail it?

I probably won't be around much, but I will post an update on Rees on Thursday. Hugs to you all.

Feel better, Denise!!! I am glad to hear that you got some much needed rest last night. I hope that it has you on the road to recovery soon. I can't wait to see pictures of the SSP.

March is good for me as long as it's not around the 21st. That's the twins 5th birthday, and I'd better be home for that. Early March is good, though. Late March starts running into a lot of Spring Break times.

I've seen the hotels of course, but I've never spent any amount of time in them. The longest I've been in the DL hotel was to have breakfast at Goofy's kitchen.

We always stay across the street from the main gate at the Park Vue Inn or the Best Western Park Place Inn. I'd love to have some info. I think others do too, that way we can decide where we want to stay.

I hope that you have fun! Be safe!
Hi all just got home. the wedding was outdoors and very beautiful. we couldn't keep Olivia off the dance floor. The visit to Waco with Jeff's dad was nice even if it was very short. Okay time to catch up.

Janet, Oh how sad that whole situation is. :grouphug: to all involved.

Christy, :grouphug: to you. You are a great mom and you will get through this.

Beth, :wizard: for a speedy recovery.

Denise, :wizard: for your family. Please take care of yourself.

Jennifer, Emma got her package today! She was very excited to receive something from her "friend"

Tammi, Kate & Kristine, Glad you all are home safe and that you had a wonderful time. The pics are fabulous!

My head is pounding and my throat is still sore and now my eyes feel like they are on fire. I have a half hour til Mo's bedtime, Eric took Emma to swimming lessons, so after that I will curl up on the couch and just veg. Thankfully Molly loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so she is just sitting here. We have tivo'd all of them.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

We loved walking around the hotels. I thought the Grand Californian looked gorgeous. But, the cost made my DH :scared1: :faint: . I can't complain as we got to go in Aug and then Dec. since we saved by staying off-site. :goodvibes Maybe the prices are better in value season. I think we were in regular season when we went. :confused3

Garrett just came home from school & the gentleman that passed away where I work at was his soccer coach. I feel so bad, I did not realize it was him. He was slumped over so I could not tell. Garrett goes to school with his daughter & she was also on his soccer team. At school today they had the team members go to a classroom so they could let them all know. He was 46 years old & died of a heart attack. Prayers for his family :grouphug:

My prayers will continue for the family and for Garrett. I hope that he is handling the news okay. :grouphug:

Janet, :grouphug: for your son and the family.

Tami great pictures.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn and Comfort Suites. I heard a lot of people like the HOJO's and Candy Cane Inn.
