Kristine posted a little yesterday after she got home, and put up some pictures too. Paul/Marti get in today so we should hear from them either later tonight or tomorrow.

I hope you feel better soon and I'm sending more prayers for Rees.

April and May are bad for me. Which airport is best to fly into from either Dulles or Washington? Do they have transpo like WDW does?

SNA (Orange County) is closest at about 15 minutes away. LAX is about 40 minutes away, but not too bad if it's not rush hour. Both airports have a Disney bus that goes from there. Cost is about $15/person. Ontario (ONT) is about 30 minutes north and Long Beach (LGB) is about 20 minutes west. You can also use www.supershuttle.com for any of the airports I think. There are also some other shuttle companies in the area. Long Beach is great because Jet Blue flies into there and it is small and VERY easy to get in and out. Orange County is great because it is closer and also pretty small. However, it can often be as much as $100 more expensive than the others. LAX is big and takes more time, but the transportation out of there is pretty easy. Ontario isn't bad either and a good location for Southwest (as is LAX), but I don't know how the transportation works from there as we've only been picked up/dropped off from there.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to thank you all so much for lending your ear and giving such wonderful encouragement as our family goes through these big changes. On Friday, we had an auction of my grandmother's things. She had 4 generations of "stuff", so needless to say, there were SO many things that had to go! Many of the things have such fond memories, it was hard to see them go. I had to just keep telling myself that they were only "things", and the special memories I have cannot be taken away and are mine forever. We did purchase a few pieces of furniture that we would like to refinish someday. She will be packing up Thursday and Friday this week, and then will be moving to Clearwater, FL. I just can't believe how fast this is all happening! We also received news of a WONDERFUL BLESSING! My parents are going to be building a new house, probably beginning in July. The house that they live in now is NOT deeded with the farm as we originally had thought, so they are able to do with it as they wish - and they offered the house to us. I still can't believe it! What a huge answer to prayer! We will just need to find some temporary housing until my parents get their house built - and worst case scenario, I'm sure that we could move in with them for a few months, if absolutely necessary. So, things are certainly looking up for us - thank you again for all of your support!!! Sending hugs to you all! :grouphug:

:cheer2: :Pinkbounc :woohoo: :yay: so gald God has answered your prayers

If I were even able to go, it would be better after the month of Oct. Dh usually gets laid off the end of Oct./start of Nov. Then I would not need to worry about the boys. Sounds like fun but I am probably dreaming. Also not that I want people thinking bad of me, but I have a habit that most of you probably do not like & I would not want to cause any problems.
Picking up strange men in bars? :teeth: Just kidding. I'm sure we would all love to meet you. :goodvibes If you mean smoking, while I have allergies and such, I have dated and been friends with smokers. I also have an aunt and uncle who smoke. They know to smoke outside and it's never been a problem. :confused3 No judgements from me as I'm no saint. ;)

Sounds like we might have to plan a DDA meet in Alpharetta, Georgia! If Denise can't come to the DDA, the DDA will have to come to Denise!
That sounds like a great idea. I've alyways wanted to see Atlanta. I loved Designing Women when I was in HS. :)

Love the pictures. You caught a lot of characters. Love the one with Minnie and Pal Mickey, very cute.

From what I could tell, Kate did great with her bad knee. She could be seen limping every now and then, but not one complaint about it. You can see how stylish her brace is in all the pictures. ;)

We found that our feet were soar from the crocs without socks. Kate ended up buying some socks, as she didn't bring any other shoes. I did bring tennis shoes, but my feet always hurt after a day of walking no matter what I wear. I must walk weird or something.
Did the crocs feel better with socks, than? Or would tennis shoes be better

Hi, all! I am feeling cruddy. I went into the walk-in yesterday, because I had a UTI (one of the most painful I've experienced). They prescribed Bactrim. Apparently, I'm having an allergic reaction to that (though I've taken it before) plus experiencing some of the other common side effects. I'm heading out now to pick up a Cipro prescription that they called in when I told them about the rash around my mouth (ouch and ugly and itchy) and my tingling tongue (and the GI upsets).

WELCOME BACK to Kristine, Tammi, and Kate! I can't wait to hear a whole report!

:wizard: and :grouphug: to all that need them.

I'll be back (but maybe not until tomorrow).

Beth
get well soon :wizard: :grouphug:

I live in Galesburg :goodvibes
