That is one of my problems too. We are supposed to go in early Oct, but I can't buy plane tickets because I don't know if I'll be living in Boston or St. Louis. If things are still up in the air I'm considering booking SW out of Providence so that I can easily cancel and rebook St. Louis if I need to last minute. Then there is the actual moving cost to work in. It's just a mess sometimes trying to go what's best. Good luck, Jo!

I am sooooooo excited about tomorrow morning....Saturday. I am having a Mother's Day Brunch at my house for the "girls" in my family. I am fixin' a big breakfast with pancakes w/ apples or strawberry toppings, egg & sausage casserole, sliced strawberries and cantelope. I bought the expensive really rich chocolate milk and orange juice.

I am having a massage person.......(friend of mine who works at Spa Sydell)...........to bring her chair massage and the table massage. They don't know about the massage part.........they just think they are coming for a relaxing "girls brunch". My daughter, daughter-in-law, cousin and sister-in-law are all getting the 15 minute chair massage.........My Aunt and my Mom are getting the 30 minute table massage.

Are they going to be surprised or what!!!!

I'll be down the 13th to the 20th. Perhaps we could meet up but I'm not sure, as I would like to try and get together with some of my college friends, and spend time with my family at the parks.

I graduated from UCF in 2004, which is about 45 minutes from WDW so lots of my friends still live in the area and some work at WDW. I could spend a month just visiting people I know down there. But who knows if I will be able to meet up with them either as most of them are very, very busy.

We have birthday party tomorrow. Abi is the "big" party this year and will have three friends over and they will be decorating Build a Bear t's (Thanks Vicki!!) and t's for themselves. I have iron ons, fabric markers, paints, stencils for this project. Cassidy gets one friend and they are doing flip flops and visors. Cutting fabric today at work for this project.


Cassidy is into #'s like you are Kate. She is thrilled that she was born 1year, 1 month , 1 day after we got married and will be celebrating her "golden" birthday Sunday. 14 on the 14th.

Speaking of Build A Bear shirts, at AC Moore this morning I saw a box of 3 shirts for Build A Bear, 2 had a design to paint and one was blank, it also came with paint and a brush. I can't recall for what size animal they were for. They were $9.99, but they could always be bought with a 40% off coupon.

I picked up some of those Zizzlingers today.... Kyle's not going to be happy! I'll let you all know which I get once I do them. I also go the most ADORABLE bag from the Disney Store.... they have a fantastic new line with kids and adult clothes, if anyone needs some cute summer stuff! The adult ones weren't for me, but the kids dresses, etc were darling, and the accessories were very cute, too! I'll see if I can post a picture later, as I couldn't find it on disneyshopping.com to show you!

Kate -- can't wait to see your updates about Pal Mickey. Your family is going to have so much fun!

Those zizzlingers look really cool! I just had a look at eBay and they're selling the individual already zizzed princesses - so you know what you're getting. They have a few unopened ones too...might have to put in a bid

Hey everyone, more good news from the May 18ers.....since it was now just Kate, Kristine and myself staying at Pop, we decided to look at the possibility of upgrading resorts. Kate was able to find us a super deal at the Dolphin, and we all decided it would be wonderful to stay there, right on the boardwalk!!! It will be so convenient to stroll over to Epcot or MGM. We can walk around or bike on the boardwalk at night. This is going to be so much fun!!!

A super deal at the dolphin?? How on earth do you get one of those?? That hotel is soooo expensive

I have to make a proud mommy brag!

Christopher has almost finished his second week of swimming lessons and he's been doing great except for swimming across the pool (I'm not good with distances, but this pool is much wider than a standard pool). He can do it but would always panic. This morning he told me this was his nervous day because he was going to swim across the pool today. I talked to him about setting a goal and that he should reward himself if he makes his goal.

Well, he did it!!! He got up for his breaths and quickly got horizontal again. He flew across the pool! His coach and I knew he could do it if he just got past the mental part of it. She gave him a little medal and told him he was the first of they boys to be able to do it. He was very proud of himself!

He also jumped off the diving board and swam to the side. He did this all last summer but the fear overtook him and I had to bribe him with an Icee to get him to do it again but now he thinks it's easy. We decided to let him join the swim team next week.

Speaking of his coach, Clare I think of you every time I see her. She is from England. As far north as you can get without hitting Scotland is how she described it. She has that beautiful accent that (for me anyway) sounds very similar to an Australian accent. She's an awesome person. I told her about you and your "Clarisms" (did I spell that right Amy ) and I mentioned Bob's your uncle. She laughed and said she totally confused her American husband when she said that because he really has an uncle named Bob.

Ask her where she's from - I always think of Newcastle as being as far north as you can be without being in Scotland.

I hope to be there. However I am not sure if it is going to happen. I reminded my manager today that I wanted that weekend off. I had it written down under the requests area, as it would not be my paid vacation time. She says my sister and I have been discussing taking our Mom somewhere those days. Key word discussing not planning. I am seriously afraid she is going to schedule herself off that weekend instead of me, even though I wanted it off first. First of all she is taking off my Birthday week, which is when I wanted my vacation and now she might be taking this out from under my nose too.

She said it all depends on whether or not her Mom can do something that weekend as to whether or not she will be able to work or not. So I want pixie dust that I can have off and go that weekend. Am I being unrealistic that I should get off before her or am I just a hctib. I am thinking I am being an hctib because I want her Mom to be busy.

Why can't I be selfish and not feel guilty??

JMHO but if you asked first you should get the time off - I hate it when people pull rank where holidays are concerned!

Here are a few photos of Tea at the Grand Floridian. We all really enjoyed this and thought it was well worth the $17.50 each and I was able to use my DDE discount.
We started with tea sandwiches and onion tart:

Ok - tea sandwiches?? I assume they don't have tea in them and are called that as they are small sandwiches with the crusts cut off to go with your afternoon tea?

All our sandwiches look like that over here and we tend to call them by their fillings, ie cucumber sandwiches or cheese sandwiches...

Sorry it just struck me as funny seeing an english item not called by its english name

Good Morning!! It is a beautiful foggy day here in Boston-town. I am on the 6th floor and can only half see the building across the street as the fog is so thick even this low. Hopefully, things clear up enough in the morning not to delay our flight since we don't have very long to see DSis tomorrow.

Alrighty, I am off to get everything on board for me to be gone a couple of days. After that, I've got to figure out where I want to go for an early birthday dinner tonight! I actually get DH to eat in a restaurant with me. Of course, I'll probably have to promise that this covers our anniversary on the 19th as well, but I can do that.

So I have been one very busy person this morning. I wish I could take a nap.

I went to A.C. Moore and bought 36 small flower pots and 7 large flower pots, plus paint to paint all of them. They are on sale for 20 cents a piece. The small ones will be party favors, I might need more. The large ones will be used to give to my Brownie troop one for each girl as their award plants, I am attaching all of their patches to popsicle sticks and skewers and sticking them in the pots to make a boquet of patches.

Went to the post office and got stamps

Stuffed my envelopes, sealed and stamped them. The addresses will have to come later as that was a secret mission as I had to sneak unto my Dad's computer to get the address files off as my Mom has no idea how to do this. We will have to go over the list later to decide who I need to create address labels for.

I called one of my Dad's old co-workers for more addresses.

I finished painting the Brownie wings for Bridging

I sent an email out for pictures for my project.

I typed up and printed my trip forms for Girl Scouts.

I created a flyer for the bridging ceremony.

I set up the reservations for my trip to Walt Disney World in August. I also emailed travel agent list of places to eat so that my ADR's could be set up.

I think that is all.

I should have painted my display board and flower pots but I didn't get to.

Now I am off to work I might not be around till Monday. Have a good weekend. Sending and for a great weekend and good weather. Happy Mother's Day.

Becky - It certainly sounds to me like you have the most important thing taken care of.
