BTW, did Glynis go off to her mother's again????

Thanks for being concerned, but I did NOT go away without informing anyone. You guys just got really chatty this weekend, and I can't keep up. Fridays I hav league bowling and then I volunteer at the kids school in the afternoon. After school I drive Katie 25 miles to her violin lesson, and then home. We stopped at the nursery and got some new plants for our yard, and decided to plant them while it was still light outside.

Saturday we cleaned out our garage (had to so we could get into our pop up trailer and take inventory on what we need before camping season starts), cleaned our house, took the kids to the pond to fish and feed the ducks, then off to the swimming pool for the afternoon, and then to dinner with my sister and her family.

Today, Church, dinner, family time, and now, I'm just waiting for the cake I made to cool down so I can frost it and we can watch our Family Fun Movie! Sunday tradition at our house!

So, I haven't had much time to keep caught up here. I'm doing it now, but I HAVE to read every post as I don't want to miss much. I've already missed posting on my birth year, my HS Graduation year, my College Graduation year, my wedding year and my kids birth years. You guys talk a lot!

I was getting ready frantically, since we were already running late. I set my curling iron on this ledge in the bathroom, and it started to fall. Well, I reacted quickly but kept my head on straight enough to remember it was hot, so I ended up awkwardly trying to catch it, and banging my elbow on this corner nearby. It hurt like heck, but I assumed it was a funny bone type thing, that it would quickly subside.

11 hours later, it's diagnosed as what is probably a radial head fracture (elbow/arm), and now my right arm is in a sling! :rotfl:

It wasn't bad enough to displace bones or anything (Type I - just a 'hairline' type fracture in the bone), so the sling should only be a few days and the pain a few days longer.... but how stupid an injury to try an explain!

So I thought it was odd Amy and Kevin were going to a wedding tonight -

until I remembered I got married on a Wednesday - and it got me thinking

did most of you get married on a Saturday or was it a different day of the week

and DAWN - you are supposed to be emailing me a wedding picture!!

Saturday, here! It was a gorgeous day, sunny and hot! Then, the next day it snowed on us! May 26, 1990!

How cute :rotfl2:

Hi, all. Drive by posting. I'll try to catch up later. Rees refluxed at dinner last night and isn't eating much. I think I've given myself an ulcer (literally). My stomach hurts all the time and having quite the upset tummy. But somehow I'm still hungry and wanting to eat! Go figure. Anyway, I'll be back later.

Yeah Nicholas :cheer2:

I hope everyone is having a good day. This morning in downtown Fredericksburg we have what is called The Great Train Race. I guess it is because it starts at the train station, and it is a one mile run, sponsored by a local running club, for kids. Each age/sex has a different heat. Nicholas ran at 11:15 against all the other 6yo males. There must have been, and I'm guessing, 75 or so kids in his bracket. I found out today that this kid of mine can run. Not only did he finish the mile run but he did it in 9 minutes. I think he came in around 20th, give or take.

Grr... Kate, let me know if you got my PM. I'm not sure what's up with this browser.... it appears to be working, but I'm just not sure :confused3

We were in #4 too. LOVED the location. Top floor near the food court. I think I'll try for first floor in August with the kids though. We were always up & out too early to meet the mousekeepers but they did a great job.

Sorry I disappeared yesterday. Emma woke up late and wanted Cheetos for breakfast. When I said no she cried a bit on the family room floor and fell asleep for hours. Then she woke up vomiting. I was getting really worried about her when she had a dry diaper from Friday night until about 8:30 last night. She was still vomiting this morning but has since eaten dry cheerios, saltines and a rice cake. She won't touch either of the 2 pedialites I offered her but she's kept the water down for most of the day and has had several more wet diapers. She's finally up and playing now.
I hope Emma is on the road to recovery!

Hi everyone.

Jennifer - I'm so sorry about your arm. I hope it isn't too painful. Congratulations again, btw.

Denise - unfortunately there is nothing I can do or say to make life easier for you, so :grouphug:

At the end of the race there are all sorts of refreshment stands and bands playing/dancing. It was a fun morning. Then we went to the nursery and I got a bunch of hanging baskets for our front and back porches. Now our house has some color! :teeth:

That is awesome, do I hear Track in his future? I can't even run a mile that fast, then again I'm not sure I could run a mile at all :lmao:

When is your grad years? I missed your birth year. I didn't come on until 1968 or 1969. If I posted on that page, I'll add your name to my post!!!!

ETA: I've posted your name on page 1984 & 1987 for your HS & college graduation.

ETA: In honor of Kate's HS graduation (Julia & Nicks Mom), I'm posting her name on page 1990.
Hey I graduated from HS in 1990 as well.

Yay Nicholas! That sounds like a fun morning!

Honestly, I have no idea about the 2020 :rotfl: 20 is not my favorite number, I had no premonition (that I know of) of what might happen 15 years from when I signed up......

I am DEFINITELY one of the users who would change their name if I could, since it literally means nothing to me

So since hinesight is 20/20 you wouldn't have chosen that name :rotfl: :rotfl: . There's a new meaning for it.
