Hi, all. Kids did well at the Dentist. Rees did cry and get upset, but he went back on his own which is a first. Tonight was Parent Orientation for Kindergarten at the Elementary School. John and I both went. It was very good, but we both were sad realizing how big they have gotten. Their Pre-K graduation is Monday. I'll be back tomorrow after church dinner.

Yep, were 10 from the milestone and Denise shows up. What are the chances she gets it again?

Has Denise been teaching you her tricks?

Yep, You finally got one. Congratulations Marti. This is your first on either thread isn't it? And you used Denise's top secret stealth method :rotfl: :rotfl: Way to Go!!! Skunka will be proud

You sure did, Congratulations Marti, you are in the middle of my posting party. But you may gladly have the milestone as I think you have never had one before. I'll just keep getting before and after milestone posts. :rotfl2:

And, no, I wasn't about to post when I saw how close we were. Contrary to popular belief, I don't take them (well, most of them) on purpose. And Marti has learned from the Master!

We're closing in on 31000. Who is on tonight?

We had a very nice picnic tonight and watched Hunter's Practice. The Cub Scout meeting was outdoors, looking at some heavy equipment which the boys loved, but it started raining so we had to cut the meeting short. I had bought a mad libs book at the dollar store and Nick, Chris and I had a ball doing some of the pages. Hunter had fun too after his busy night. I had forgot how much fun those could be.

Deb

I love mad libs.

I think a lot of us stopped posting so that we wouldn't accidentally get it. The boards are so slow it was really hard not to post.

OK OK OK I deserved that -- but remember -- it was always Skunka that called you that!

And yes Deb - this is the first one that I can remember. I'm usually like ReAnSt -- one before or one after.

I have heard that Angels and Demons is excellent. I can't wait to get it, I have a friend that I have been doing book swaps with.

I loved Angels and Demons even more than the DaVinci Code! It was much more action oriented! I loved it!

Oh Denise I feel that pain.. My "baby" will be starting kindergarten in the fall. Her orientation is May 25th. She gets to ride the bus around the school, visit her class, the gym, & the lunchroom. Its so hard to see her grow & need me less. I am happy for her & sad that her baby & preschool years are over...I will miss it.

Congrats! Are you celebrating with a Dole Whip?

That sounds like a great idea!! I think I'll have one!

But seriously the board is so slow that I'm going downstairs - I can't take how slow it is!

And EllenBenny - if you are around - I finished hemming all the beige things, and now I'm stuck!!! I got the grey thread in, but I keep screwing up the bobbin. I read the darn book sixteen times and I can't figure it out!! So close, yet so far.

I just got back from the gym. I am now up to two miles on the treadmill at 2.6 mph. I'm determined to be able to walk around Disney World easily this time! Last time I got a lot of pain in my back and hips by the end of the day. They also have a 30 minute circuit training unit, and I do this a couple of times a week, too (just the machines, though, as I'm doing the cardio and large muscle workout on the treadmill). Sometimes I do the recumbant bike. I like this gym because you can watch TV while you work out on the cardio machines. They have TVs set to certain channels and you plug in headphones and watch change the channels to the one of your choice. You can also listen to different music stations.

The board is slow again tonight.

Good for you, June! You are definitely going to feel better at WDW this year!

There is nothing on tv tonight and the boards are moving soooo slow. I finally have a night to just sit here without worrying about 1000 things and it just won't move. :badpc: :badpc:

I'll second (or third) that! I've read all of Dan Brown's books, and The DaVinci Code is my least favorite.
