I've got a few pages to catch up on, but I thought you might like to see what I've been up to the last couple of days. My job for the travelin' Pals was to make them blankets. I did that yesterday and had a bit of material left that I thought would make cute sleep pants. I tried to find a pattern last night, but no luck in the 10" size for boy dolls. I ended up creating my own today and made these sleep pants. I need to locate more material in my basement in order to send a pair of pants and a pair of shorts with each one. These are what I have done so far.

We asked Kate to design a Pal Mickey Kate original for us a couple of weeks ago. I got the tees done tonight and sent off to Deb & Kristine. Here's a picture of PM in his tee.

Good news too - they are no longer doing the Princess for a Day in the magic kingdom, they are back to Grand Marshalls. So we may have a chance after all.

My Jacob is 6 and is still thick into it. My DH is 38 and he still likes to swordfight and play star wars. So, your guess is as good as mine!

It's true! Didn't think about that too. DH is 36 and LOVES all those fighting, driving or flying video games. Not to mention Star Wars, Galactica, and so on.... I guess they NEVER outgrow this boy stuff. Thank God my last one was a girl, an so far she is as "girlie" like as she can be.

I have a question about boys:

Cause I just don't understand them!!! Julia was never a physical child - she likes to run around and dance

but Nick - wants to fight and play star wars and jump off things and turns ANYTHING into a sword - he likes to hit - you know like Karate and stuff

He's not being malicious - that is just how he plays -

is this normal and if so how long is it going to last?

Completely normal and it will last for the rest of his life. My almost 7 year old is still a little like that. My 15 year old is completely over that stage. I don't remember exactly when it ended.

If you all could send some prayers up for a family in our church, I would appreciate it greatly! A little backstory:

Sorry that got so long. I just wanted to ask for prayers for the family, espeically the mother who was JUST in the hospital last week as one of her kids was diagnosed with diabetes. She is also terrified that Dad will try and use this against her to prove she is "unfit". Not sure why, because it's not like he wants the kids anyway...
But then I had to add that school vent. Am I overreacting, or is that rediculous?!

I just told my DH about Pal Mickey, and how he would be vacationing with us in August. He rolled his eyes, but was smiling the whole time. I know once PM arrives, Alan will be as into it as the kids and I are.

He wants to check out as many places as he can. This would be great. He'll have blank tees in his suitcase for people to make custom tees. As they get made, I want people to let me know and I'll order more blanks. They are only $2 a piece when you order in large enough quantities.

For our newest members to this thread, we have three Pal Mickey's that will be travelin' around the country & across the ocean to visit DDA members and see the sites. Since I can't get around to see everyone, I wanted my Pal to visit with anyone interested instead. They are pretty much booked until December at this point. Theresa (babytrees), Deb (my3princes), & myself are getting his wardrobes, etc. together. They are going to Vegas, Poconos, Utah, Disneyland, Disneyworld, Washington DC, and so many more places that I don't remember them all.
