just outside san pedro, nm

OMG - my cousin lives in San Pedro - what a small world - I bet you know each other!!

You should find somewhere else to buy your gas though b/c I just talked with her this afternoon and she told me her gas is at about 2.85 a gallon there

my favorite place to go eat when we are there is Kokopelli's - do you like it?

I also like San Paulo's - have you eaten there? Her best friend was a waitress there in High School and still knows the owner so we can drink there for free!! :thumbsup2 Maybe that is why I think the food is so good ;)

Do you play golf - I have played at Paa-Ko before - what do you think of the course?

Where exactly do you live - I can't believe you live there - most people have never even heard of it!!!

I hope so, I have lived in and around the Poconos since I was 4, yawn.

Don't you think people who live in a city always think they are more boring than people who visit it?

Took a picture of my watches. Still cannot figure how to put them on here so I continue to use my Photobucket
http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c302/tinker1bell/?sc=1&multi=2

tinker1bell, highlight the Img line, right click on it after it is highlighted and click copy. Come back to the DIS and click on edit at the top of your tool bar and click paste.

You can preview your post befor posting, if they are to big delete the Img link, go back to photobucket, click on the edit button, it gives you 3 resize options, click on 25% off and than the resize button. After they are resized, repeat the highlight Img directions above.

I have a question about boys:

Cause I just don't understand them!!! Julia was never a physical child - she likes to run around and dance

but Nick - wants to fight and play star wars and jump off things and turns ANYTHING into a sword - he likes to hit - you know like Karate and stuff

He's not being malicious - that is just how he plays -

is this normal and if so how long is it going to last?

Kate,
It is very normal and unfortunately does last a long time. My two boys also liked to take things apart to see how they worked, just like their father, my DH did. Thus ruining a few of their toys. :rotfl2: :lmao:
I think the two grandboys are gonna follow right in their footsteps.

Terry

Okay - so we all know San Pedro is a ghost town don't we?

my DH laughed and said people were going to think my cousin lived in a ghost town - I assumed everyone knew it was one and that of course I was referring to an area outside of it -

here is a link to pictures of it -

when I visit it - I always think of the brady bunch episode :lmao:

Hi Everyone!! We got back into town Sunday afternoon from our trip to the Southwest. We had a really great trip and loved everything that we did and saw. I can't believe I am over 400 pages behind, so there is absolutely no way I can catch up. Can anyone provide a summary of the last 12 days or so?

Our trip took us to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, Zion, and back to Las Vegas. Everything was perfect, until I threw my back out on the way home in the Chicago airport. So my back is killing me and it is hard to sit at the computer. I went to the chiropractor today, and it actually was way worse after. I had to call my DH to drive me home it hurt so bad.

Also I have offered to make autograph books for a co-worker who is leaving Sat. for a WDW trip. His daughters are 3 and 1 (celebrating her b-day while there). I hope I can do it in time, with all the catching up I need to do, and with the back problem everything is more difficult.

I will be trying to keep up again... I hate not being able to read all the old posts.

I wish I could say I am glad to be back, but vacation was a lot more fun than coming home to work, housework, back pains etc.

Ellen

Welcome back Ellen - sounds like a great trip! Sorry the back is out - take a good long sleep in your own bed tonight! Hope you are up and about quickly.

We asked Kate to design a Pal Mickey Kate original for us a couple of weeks ago. I got the tees done tonight and sent off to Deb & Kristine. Here's a picture of PM in his tee.

Kristine,
I love the tee, just too cute

Tia - Email sent!

Denise - Great news for the family and Rees! I hope everything goes ok this weekend for you! I've tried the Berries and Cream, but haven't been able to find Blak yet.

Jennifer - I watch Nashville Star..well I Tivo it and fast forward through all the stuff I don't care for!

Kate - Like the PM idea, and really like the design for Pal Mickey! STILL haven't received my score for the HSM quiz...I feel like I'm waiting for my report card!

Vicki - Since you have Mickey's schedule set, make sure that anyone with kids has the chance to get Mickey before I do. I think the kids will appreciate him more!

Ellen - Sorry to hear about the back...Aleve does wonders for me...
