Julia was 11 months old when she got her tubes and one fell out 18 months later and the other one just fell out - so we have been really lucky



WOW!!! That is lucky, I think that Carli had a set that both fell out before 6 months. The next time we have to do tubes (which I'm sure we will be doing again), I will definetly have to check into this!!!!

Ok DDAs... opinions please


When do I tell Kyle about our trip? My original plan (without giving it any thought really) was just to pack for him and go.... and he could figure it out whenever. That would be a lot of fun

But part of me wants to tell him a bit sooner so he can be excited with me! I definitely will wait until a little closer. His med school graduation ceremony (so that they don't have to sit through the big undergrad one at UC) is May 28th; I don't think I'd tell him before that. But even that is so far away!

What do you think? And how should I tell him?

Mail him a "Trip Package" like the kind you get when you book with WDTA or AAA. Make all the things he would get in one of those packages. The itinerary, tickets, and all the other things that come with it. In the Welcome letter you could let him know why you are giving him the trip. You have a bit of time to make it all and I think that would be great to keep for a scrapbook also.

I wanted to let you all know that my DH wins husband of the year award

the presentation that I put off last week when Nick was sick was last night - I had to give it at 5:00 - at 3:10 I opened my Powerpoint presentation that was saved on my thumb drive and discovered the my thumb drive had decided it has met its life expectancy - dumb me didn't save the program anywhere else - I tried both computers - cried - prayed - nothing

so I now have to leave to get Julia and call my DH in tears - he was home by 4:00 with his laptop to see what he could do - I was sure he was wasting his time but greatly appreciated the effort!

GUESS WHAT!!!!! He was able to open it so I could save it and my presentation went great - I am not sure why he had the magic touch but all I can say is that not many men would have left work to come home to see what they could do!!!! No wonder I love him so much!!!!!

That's so sweet Kate.

And the designs are really nice too!!!

Does anyone know the official ending date for the Happiest Celebration on Earth? Does anyone know the next upcoming celebration? Just wondering if it will be different by December or if they will wait until January to change.

It looks like it will be ending Sept 30th. I'm not sure what changes will take affect at that time though. THere was talk that the celebration would extend through the end of the year, but I saw something a month or two ago in the AllEarsNet newsletter that it would end as scheduled.

I'm not sure what is next, but next year is Epcot's 25th anniversary. I have seen rumors that some version of the Tapestry parade would return for it. There has also been a rumor that Dreamfinder would be added back in Imagination in some way.
