I'm absolutely exhausted though.... tomorrow is the ultrasound! It better give me a darn good reason (or 2! ;)) for not being able to accomplish squat anymore! :rotfl:

I'll try to post fairly quickly after the u/s. I appreciate your prayers... I'm getting awfully anxious!

Have a wonderful night, DDA!

:dance3:  :cool1:

Can't wait to hear all of the good news later today!!!

Oh no, how sad. :wizard: that you can get a replacement. Maybe they can make one with an old photograph? :confused3

They have a camera that takes a 3 D Image so a regular photo that is 2 dimensional won't work. I plan to call to see if they may be able to help. It's a long shot at best.

I need to get moving on my housework. The boys party is tomorrow night.

Chris' mother called this morning to find out what time the party is. She told Chris that she didn't forget his birthday, she just was never near a phone :confused3 Let's just say that the comments he made after hanging up the phone were not nice

We woke up to snow this morning. We have about an inch on the ground now. Colby is fascinated :lmao: The roads are still covered so hopefully the road crews will get on top of it before we have to run out. Colby has his first day of school today (open house actually) so we need to head there after picking up Logan. This storm was supposed to just be rain so I'm not sure how they miss predicted it :rotfl2:

Cute!!!

Lucy seems relatively comfortable. She hasn't fussed much at all today and slept pretty good.

We just got back from Emma's conference and her teacher had nothing but positive things to say. She is reading above grade level. She is always helpful, the mother hen of the class and that the other kids love to have her read to them. I got to visit her classroom last week and she sits next to a little boy who is autistic. I mentioned to her teacher that it amazed me how undistracted Emma is by all that he does. He is in constant motion. She felt a little guilty as she said Emma has been sitting next to him for a while but Emma can maintain her work and also helps keep this boy on track. I know Emma sat next to him in 1st grade as well but we've talked about it and Emma likes it that way. We agreed that as long as Emma doesn't have a problem getting her work done that it's ok. We are thrilled with her progress.
Nice to hear Lucy is feeling better!

:woohoo: Emma. You must be so proud. How wonderful that she can work undistracted! That will be a skill that will take her far. And how wonderful that she is empathetic and caring! That will take her even farther!:goodvibes

Eric wants to keep it as is.
:sad1: It would have been fun meeting you!

I hope you feel better soon!
Thanks! I do feel a bit better today. I guess going to be early was a good idea. Don't know how long I'll last though.

Dana had the day off today so we went out for lunch. I had plans to get alot done today as far as holiday shopping but didn't get much accomplished. I feel like I am coming down with something & am headed to bed. I hate the cold!

:wizard: Hope you can keep it away or at least it is quick moving!:wizard:

It's time to go bake cornbread for Miles' class, make sandwiches for our preschool Family Feast, prep preschool project for tomorrow, and finish laminating placemats for preschool. And hopefully watch some tv with dh.

Have a good night!
YIKES! Do you ever slow down?

Feel better, Bernadette! I think your crew moves too slow to be in an offsite house. You guys would never make it to the parks!:rotfl:
Thanks! I only have a few slow pokes but all it takes is one. I'm so looking forward to my trip with Joe. He may fade at the end of the day but he's an early riser.:thumbsup2

I was just reading that they announced the performers for the Epcot flower concert. Below will be there when we are..
April 24-26 The Ventures
April 27-30 B. J. Thomas

Only problem is..I don't know who they are? :confused3
How young are you? B. J. Thomas sang another done somebody bad song-do you think he can sing that in the happiest place on earth?

Where did you find that? Who's on for May 3 to 10?

My father used to have albums by The Ventures, but I can't say I know what their music is like. I can picture B.J. Thomas - longish, wavy hair and a face that is lined and tanned like he spends too much time in the sun. But I don't know his music, either. I think they are both late 60's early 70's performers. (Which is when they were popular. But I supposed that could also be how old they are now.):lmao:
I would say 50's.

OK...so I just looked it up. B.J. Thomas is 65.:scared1: YIKES....I'm so old....

Sometimes being a parents stinks the big one:headache:

Got Abi's progress reports...she is getting A's except in Science and Math (taught by the same teacher)....the reason she has a B and C in those classes??? Not turning in work:mad: I took a page out of Elizabeth's book and she gets to turn in the work...even though it won't be graded. She looked so forlorn in giving me the progress reports but it's her own darn fault!!
:wizard: Good luck with that.

Lizzy wouldn't do her homework for my DH yesterday. He's so passive that he just complains to me instead of trying to make her do it.:confused3 He 'complained' to me that she was outside playing until dark even though he told her to do her homework. I asked him why he didn't make her come in and he just gave me a blank stare.:headache: Sometimes it tough being the only adult int he house. I was so mean to her. I let Joe & Emma watch Shrek 3 for the first time and made her do her homework. I left before she was up this morning but I'm sure she's still mad at me as I wouldn't let her watch any of the movie even after she finished her homework.

Bernadette hope you are feeling better tomorrow :wizard:
Thanks!

:scared1: I had frost on my car windows this morning. I'm not ready (or in the mood) for winter!

Rees update...

November 19, 2007 at 09:03 PM EST
Rees slept until 11:30am. He did great with his feeds last night, and he has eaten solid food! For dinner he had really creamy mac-n-cheese, applesauce, and 2 mini cupcakes. Today he's had milk and one of those giant chocolate choc chip muffins. It's all soft, but it's way better than ice cream 24-7~ At dinner he did vomit a little of the mac-n-cheese tonight, but it has been the best day he's had in a long time!!!

It's wonderful to be home, and I'm going back to work next Tuesday. John's going to stay home with him on Tues/Fri until he goes back to school. I'm ready for some "normalcy".
:woohoo: :woohoo:

Caught up... :yay:
Now I am headed to bed. I think the DDA cold is running amok amongst us all! Stay healthy everyone. Airborne, here I come. Good night, friends. :goodvibes
:wizard: Hope you can keep it away!

Must be in the air. Katie came home and told me that she's getting a C in math and language arts!!! I'm flabbergasted. At midterm, she was doing very well. All A's. Her problem??? NOT TURNING IN HER WORK! Guess what she's doing now??? Yup. Doing the work. She said, "but report cards are already printed." Well, too bad!!! Maybe next term she'll take some responsibility!
:wizard: Good luck to you too!

The other 2 pieces of our entertainment center came today so I spent the afternoon assembling them. There were a few flaws, but I managed to hide them well or fix them. I really like the look of it. I think it will go well with the antique china cabinet that I still need to refinish. We have a lot of oak furniture in our house and the new flooring is also an oak finish.

I took Colby to Kmart and had his picture taken this morning. Oddly enough the very first shot is the one that I liked the best. I can pick them up on Dec 7.

After erecting the furniture today I started to put stuff into them. I moved the Crystal photo cubes of the boys into one cabinet. I left the room for a few minutes and Colby managed to drop 2 of the cubes, completely shattering his and taking a big chunk out of Hunter's. I am truly devasted as they are my all time favorite WDW souvenirs. It isn't like I can go back in time to have one made of my baby, he's 5 now afterall. I'm tempted to call Disney to see if they keep the photos on file as I would love to order 2 more. I somehow doubt that they would have the files from 4 years ago :sad1:
I'm so sorry! :wizard: Hope they can do something for you!

You have given me an idea though....I had Lizzy's photo taken for Leave a Legacy for her 7th birthday and had hoped to do the same for Joe & Emma but they stopped doing it. Maybe I'll do one of those crystals instead. Do they do them in Epcot?

:rotfl: NEVER admit you might have thrown out that tree! They are most certainly doing a Christmas Tree Tango somewhere... maybe in WDW while waiting for us to arrive. ;)
I wonder which tree is wearing my sunglasses.:rotfl:

Loving all your photos!

Tia,

Emma's package from Terra arrived today. She will be home sometime Wednesday night so we'll open it then.

Mark us as another quick delivery! It was mailed around noon on Sat. I hope that she likes it!

Bernadette, thank you for Alyssa's princess postcard! :goodvibes

Glynis, I'm sorry about your loss. You are such an amazing woman, and just think, many, many years from now, your children and grandchildren are going to be chatting on a "friends thread" talking about your legacy!

Deb, I hope Disney has an answer for you regarding your photo cubes. I get very attached to things like that too.

Jen, sending you strength today. Your grandpa is in good hands.

I hope everyone who feels  feels better for Thanksgiving!

We leave for Huron first thing in the morning and drive back Sunday afternoon. Then, we leave for Disney on 11/30!

Yesterday, Alyssa and I were chatting about harrassing Captain Hook. I said I was going to call him a old codfish, and she said she was going to walk up to him and say, "Tick tock, tick tock." Suddenly Matty starts saying, "Tick tock, tick tock!" It was so cute! :cloud9:

Happy (early) Thanksgiving DDA! :flower3:

Good morning everyone! I've read, but think I forgot more than I remember. I did forget to say thank you Bernadette for Terra's post card. She loved it! Paula - thank you also for mine. Terra was excited that we both got cards with Pluto on the same day!

I've got lots of prep work for Thankgiving (aka cleaning and pie making) so I (hopefully/supposedly ;) ) won't be on much to day. Take care everyone!

Oh, yeah, and I gotta get in a little :dance3: ! We get to go to Branson this weekend. Mom was able to get a free weekend at the condo. It's not Disney, but at least I get lights, decorations, shows and lots of Christmas!

I decided to look at Cassidy's online before going to bed and she is only getting one C...in Spanish :confused3 ....I think she finally learned her turning in work lesson, thank goodness.

Janet, I really like your lion pictures!

Debbie, welcome home! Can't wait to see more pictures from you!

Bernadette, more trip report today? Hope you're feeling up to it! :)

Oh no!!!:sad1:

I am glad the rest of the day seems to have gone reasonably well.

Wonderful pictures, Janet. The view was gorgeous!
