Good job! I remember taking the kids for walks when Emma was a baby. I had a graco double stroller that weighed 34 pounds, them Emma was 10+, her car seat was several pounds, Joe was 25ish pounds, and Lizzy was 30+ pounds. Lizzy would stand between the 2 seats. So more than 100 pounds of stroller and kids. We would go around the block and Lizzy would tell me that Daddy always go up this big hill. I told her Mommy doesn't.This is really for You, Elin, Becky, Deb and Chris, I know you all have lost so much weight and you're all truely Motivating me to get my tail back to where it was before my kids. Mind you, I was never "skinny" but for some reason after Mary-Margaret was born I just had no energy to lose what I had re-gained. Part of the reason I've been so far behind is I've been taking the kids on "nature walks" or that's what RJ calls them. I get out their radio flyer wagon and get them buckled into and we walk the neightborhood in a different direction each time we head out. The walking out is the easy part .. we sit at the top of the hill ( this entire area is built on top of old garnet mines.. ) and we walk for a good half hour and then start to head back. Right now getting myself up the hill is one obstacle but add the weight of the kids and the wagon and RJ decides we're going to slow and he hops out and helps me pull his sister up the hill. I just wanted to say thank you all for being such a good influence on me. and Keep up the great work.
I've got so much to do and I am going on a trip. Someone gave me one of those frames for Christmas last year. I haven't done anything with it yet.Truthfully there is no way that I could manage a trip in the near future. I have so much to do here and I feel like I'm accomplishing nothing. I didn't expect it to take me an entire day to sort through photos of our last 2 trips trying to figure out which ones to print. I think I've made good progress, but now I need to get rid of red eye in some of them. I also have a digital picture frame that I need to load photos into, but that will be a whole different sorting process. Tomorrow we need to run errand after bowling and before work.
Thanks for the update Robyn! That sounds good. WOW....he'll feel so much better with all that corrected! It is great that they were able to do it all laparoscopically. Here is the latest on Rees. Sounds really good!!!![]()

Rees just went to recovery. Dr. Wulkan was able to do the surgery laparoscopically. Rees had a large hiatal hernia, his stomach was very twisted upon itself, and his fundo had come undone. Dr. Wulkan was able to fix it all. The bowel portion looked fine. If Rees does well, we're hoping he comes home on Sunday. He will be out of school all next week.
I'll post more later. Thanks for the prayers. They were answered!
Lucy's checkup went well. She weighed in at 14lbs, 4 oz. and is 25.2 inches long. She is in the 66th % for her weight and 82nd % for her height. I honestly think it should be reversed, she doesn't seem all that long.
Molly got her flu shot and was a big girl about it. No tears, no screaming, no big "OUCH"- just a little "ouch"
I will check in later tonight. Have a great day!!!
Thank you Tinker Bell? my Pulto Jibbit came today.
Now how much do I owe you?
Theresa, are you hitting on my husband or did you mean to say we had the cutest Cogsworth you've ever seen?![]()
I was just thinking of poor little Rees. He'll be in surgery in an hour. I pray that it goes quickly and smoothly

Chanon have you considered growing your own pumpkins and gourds then just have the florist accent them with roses? I would think that you could have some spectacular centerpieces for a fraction of the cost. If you are not a gardner I bet someone close to you would love to do it for you.
I need to get back to work on our photos.

I think I would go with the 8/1 flights! So I am back to hemming and hawing about next summer. I am worried about letting the "holds" on my tickets expire, although Lindsay said I can re-hold them. I think I should go ahead and just book them. DS and I can leave 8/1, it isn't a big deal. I was going to wait until 8/3 if DH can't leave with us on 8/1, but that means waiting to book the tickets. With the rate hike I am getting nervous that the seats available with miles will sell out. There is only 1 DFW departure each day that is non-stop for 25K miles. There are 3 flights each day coming back that are non-stop so I don't think those seats will go as quickly. Even though 8/1 and 8/2 are more expensive than the other nights at Pop I don't think 2 extra days at Disney is bad, and DH MIGHT be able to leave on 8/1.
I pay for the premium service with Kodak. I can get prints for 10 cents each. If you send me a link to your photos I could order the prints for you. I don't know if I can get the 25% off the 10 cents. I was going to try this weekend. When does that code expire? My photos are uploading to the kodak gallery. I get 20 free photos just for signing upThen 25% off my order. Hopefully it won't be too expensive

I don't think the Tinker Bell accepts payments. Doesn't she just spread pixie dust?
DH and DS are back from the diagnostician. He has gained 5 lbs. and grown 1/2 inch since the beginning of summer. They gave him a prescription for 5 mg. of Ritalin to take after school to help him get through homework, so we'll see how that goes. She did say he doesn't need to take meds on weekends, so we can continue to skip meds on weekends & holidays. I was thinking maybe he should take the meds every day, but apparently that doesn't make a difference.
When Jim was taking his ADD meds we were told it takes a full two weeks for the medicine to completely be in his bloodstream and 2 full weeks after stopping for it to be out so that makes sense that a few days aren't going to affect DS one way or the other.
Help!! I need some ticket advice please.![]()

Here's the deal. My AP expires on Nov. 30th. That day I will spend at EPCOT.
Then I will be at Disney for 3 more days. Supposed no hopping.(we'll see!)
I don't anticipate returning until Dec. 11th of next year.![]()
Should I buy the ap for $336 or just the 3 day pass for $215? confused3The hopper would be $265. When I put it on paper, it looks so simple... renew the ap! But if I don't go back all of next year, I would have spent a lot of money for 3 days...
Oh what to do, what to do...

That stinks that American needs the CC to match. It just doesn't make any sense.I just called American and there is no change fee if I just switch dates, so I am going to book 8/1 - 8/17 and then fix it later if I need to. The thing that kind of chaps me is that DS has his own mileage account. I am not going to be able to pay for his $5 fee with my credit card because the names have to match. So I have to CALL to book his ticket and that incurs a $15 booking fee.I'm not booking by phone because I WANT to!
The guy I spoke to was very nice. He said I will need to call to book DS's ticket, but also they need to link our reservations together so DS isn't an "unaccompanied minor". I was thinking maybe I should have transferred miles FROM DS to DH, but then we would be trying to purchase a ticket for a minor with a credit card in my name so I don't think it would help!

Do you get any other sort of DVC discount? Or only on AP's? I would NOT buy a non expire ticket. You'll just end up with the wrong number of days left on it.Help!! I need some ticket advice please.![]()

Good luck. Hope someone finds her project! So I just got off the phone with one of Abi's Core teachers (the middle school is broken up into cores) about the kid having an F in his class![]()
My emails (three from different email addresses) went into his junk mail folder to be found yesterdayAND my voicemail from Wednesday finally being answered.
Abi is certain she turned in a MAJOR piece of work at the same time as her friends in his class, he can't find it and it's actually the only one missing. At no point has he said Abi's lying (came close) but it is also a bit strange hers is the only one missing (that's been turned in)....so we are searching her backpack again this weekend and moving from there.
Abi is so anal about her homework...it has to be perfect and just so....so I know that she believes she turned it in (and probably did). Why oh why can't she be this way about other things in her life???![]()
She thiinks all of her teachers hung the moon (except her fourth grade teacher) so she would be devastated if he does come out and say she is lying
. He seems to be a good teacher who is just a bit scared of our family after conferences
. I don't think he "gets" Abi though because she is an odd duck.
Ohhhhhh....I just realized I haven't received her stupid year plan yet....yippeeI get to call the GT coordinator on that one.
Can you really do that? I thought an AP had to go back to the first day the ticket was used. I don't think they will let you apply the "value" of left over days. How about buying the non expiring option of what you can afford now and applying the rest of those days to an AP next December???
That stinks that American needs the CC to match. It just doesn't make any sense.
Hope the new drugs work well.

I will use the ticket I had to purchase in August for the DDP toward the renewal of my AP next year but I never used it.
YAY for Molly getting her flu shot. My kids get theirs on Monday, and Nicholas also has a routine physical. Teacher conferences are also on Monday, so that is just a big day all-around.
Steffy - I have no advice on ticketing. All that boggles my mind.
Abi - I hope you find your homework.
So who is going to see The Bee Movie this weekend? I don't know why, but that just does not appeal to me. Maybe it's because it's been TOO hyped.
