Tia - I am tempted to say something snarky about Kristi asking you to watch Chase but then getting mad when Chase wants to come to you, but I will refrain.

I was just looking at airfare. American raised their fares $20, so the ticket I could have had for $212 is now $232 before taxes & fees. Thing is, I found a fare in January for $200 TOTAL. So I will just watch and see what the fares on American do while we wait to see what DH's schedule will be.

MLK is the 21st. I’ll be there 1/6 to 1/11. I got Pop for $49 per night with AP. $55.13 with tax. I think Terry would like to go with you! I think the weekend AP rate is $69.

I got a quote on flowers for the wedding yesterday. Centerpieces at $65 is a NO. But her prices for roses are awesome!! We talk to someone else this Saturday, so we'll see what prices then. The biggest thing is that tomorrow is my second anniversary of my gastric bypass surgery. In the past 2 years I've lost 100 pounds, and kept off 96 of it. I'm celebrating that!

ok as usual I'm far behind lol .. but I just read this and I just have to say Happy Anniversary Glynis and Congrats on losing all of that and keeping just about all of it off. I know we don't "know" each other but please know that I am So Proud of you for having accomplished so much.
This is really for You, Elin, Becky, Deb and Chris, I know you all have lost so much weight and you're all truely Motivating me to get my tail back to where it was before my kids. Mind you, I was never "skinny" but for some reason after Mary-Margaret was born I just had no energy to lose what I had re-gained. Part of the reason I've been so far behind is I've been taking the kids on "nature walks" or that's what RJ calls them. I get out their radio flyer wagon and get them buckled into and we walk the neightborhood in a different direction each time we head out. The walking out is the easy part .. we sit at the top of the hill ( this entire area is built on top of old garnet mines.. ) and we walk for a good half hour and then start to head back. Right now getting myself up the hill is one obstacle but add the weight of the kids and the wagon and RJ decides we're going to slow and he hops out and helps me pull his sister up the hill. I just wanted to say thank you all for being such a good influence on me. and Keep up the great work.

We got the biggest list of DINGS today that we have ever got. There were some for Orlando too. They were good through Mid December. Too bad we have jobs and the kids have school as I would love to go again. Well there is also that little obstacle of money

Truthfully there is no way that I could manage a trip in the near future. I have so much to do here and I feel like I'm accomplishing nothing. I didn't expect it to take me an entire day to sort through photos of our last 2 trips trying to figure out which ones to print. I think I've made good progress, but now I need to get rid of red eye in some of them. I also have a digital picture frame that I need to load photos into, but that will be a whole different sorting process. Tomorrow we need to run errand after bowling and before work.

Rees just went to recovery. Dr. Wulkan was able to do the surgery laparoscopically. Rees had a large hiatal hernia, his stomach was very twisted upon itself, and his fundo had come undone. Dr. Wulkan was able to fix it all. The bowel portion looked fine. If Rees does well, we're hoping he comes home on Sunday. He will be out of school all next week.

I'll post more later. Thanks for the prayers. They were answered!

Lucy's checkup went well. She weighed in at 14lbs, 4 oz. and is 25.2 inches long. She is in the 66th % for her weight and 82nd % for her height. I honestly think it should be reversed, she doesn't seem all that long.

Molly got her flu shot and was a big girl about it. No tears, no screaming, no big "OUCH"- just a little "ouch"

I think I have finally got our photos together for printing. When I saw how many I need to print I felt better about devoting a day to organizing and editing them. I need to send 192 photos to Kodak gallery Then I can start scrapbooking them.

Sounds like Lucy is doing well! I think the anticipation of the flu shot is worse than the actual shot. I don't think I have ever had anybody really SCREAM from the shot itself.

Cool. My pet sitter just called to confirm for next month!

Since Tammi got her ME tags I am hoping ours are coming. I don't need the tags since we're just doing carry-ons, but I do need the vouchers for the bus.

Stephanie - The cheerleaders will be bad on the buses and in the food court, so beware. If they are truly obnoxious maybe you can demand to be moved to CBR or CSR. POR is their other resort, so you don't want to go there.

Oh yeah, one last pumpkin. This is Ovaly's pumpkin. Ovaly is Terra's imaginary friend and he picked this out when we were at the pumpkin patch. Anyway, can anyone tell what it is supposed to be? I'm just wondering if others can see what I was going for.
