I think my kids are going to have a handicap because I never had to do a Science Fair project. Science Fair must not have been invented yet when I was younger. So not only am I a sleepover virgin, I'm a Science Fair virgin as well!

i never had to do a science fairi project either! dont know how i escaped that one!

I managed to throw together 5 resources for DS's Science Fair research paper. He has to turn in the resource list by tomorrow but the rough draft isn't due for 2 more weeks. The problem is one resource is supposed to be copyrighted within the past year. Hello? Flame resistant fabric isn't really making headlines these days. He might just have to take the loss in points on that.
I wish I had more time to help you. I know they NFPA must have something on this. Work is crazy though....:scared:

AAAACCCKKK! Can't......breathe.......chest......hurts.....
Niether can I.:scared1:

I never have. I don't even know if my kids will have to?

Hi all... Just wanted to pop in and say hi. And to share some pics from today.
So cute!

The girls looks great, and I love this one. Excellent!

:wizard: for Eric AND for you. ;)

Glad that you are feeling better!

Alan has to work until 7:00 tomorrow, so I will stay home and hand out candy, while Katie and Jacob take the twins trick or treating. We live on a circle, so they have plenty of houses to visit without leaving our neighborhood. Once Alan comes home, he'll take them to his siblings houses and I'll stay home.

I'm going to make "finger" sandwiches with tomato (blood) soup for dinner beforehand. I'm going to flatten a breadstick and lay ham and cheese on top. Then I'll top it with another flattened breadstick. Pinch them together and bake them. I'll paint a green fingernail on one end and call it good. At least they'll eat before they start the annual candy gorge!

Tonight we'll be doing our pumpkins, too. Alan does the carving with the kids. I take the pictures, and roast the pumpkin seeds. I don't like the pumpkin goop! My kids do, though, so they'll have a good time.

The biggest thing is that tomorrow is my second anniversary of my gastric bypass surgery. In the past 2 years I've lost 100 pounds, and kept off 96 of it. I'm celebrating that!

You are doing so well on Maintenance :cool1: :cool1: That is so much harder than losing the weight :cheer2: :cheer2:

Deb- Can you post a picture of the Halloween fabric? Please

I would much rather have a sleepover than a Science Fair. I hate Science Fair.:headache:

Robyn - LOVE the pumpkin!! Molly looks so cute!

That is terrific, Glynis!! :yay:

OK, WHY am I the only one stuck in the vortex of Science Fair hell? Why is that? I truly hate everything about Science Fair and none of you can even commiserate with me because you don't have to participate! NOT FAIR!

Hmm. I just got an e-mail from the play group that Princess is in. Before I get irritated I will say it is a group list and probably doesn't include me personally. The play group is part of an early childhood PTA. The PTA wants each play group to do a charitable thing so one of the play group moms did a basket to donate to somewhere for Thanksgiving. I never said I wanted to participate, I don't belong to the PTA, and I don't have a child in play group. The e-mail was letting us know how much each of us owes on the basket. I don't think I owe ANY money, thank you very much. I will check with Momboss and make sure I don't owe a portion. If I do I don't think I want to be in their play group anymore!

:wizard:

Looks like lots of fun!

I think you should try August. Did Anne Marie think August was much worse than Oct? I find August easier because I am used to the heat at home.

Emma won’t eat pizza. I hope she outgrows that. I cannot imagine life without pizza.:confused3 ;)

I use Kodak Gallery. They are having a 25% coupon code TRICKORTREAT until 11/6 if you spend $30. I’ve been very happy with their quality.

NO WAY!!!! At least with 5 you can stay in 1 room in most deluxes and at POR. I don’t need a family of 6.

I’ve read about those 3M hooks too.

I'll have to check out the Kodak Gallery. I need to get moving on this. I did buy some colored cardstock and a Mickey Head paper punch. I made a bunch of colored Mickey Heads out of the cardstock today to save time when I'm actually read to scrap.

i never had to do a science fairi project either! dont know how i escaped that one!
:confused3

Off to work! We just got in scarves, hats, & gloves at the store yesterday...I am not ready for the cold just yet! Last week I was sticking ice cubes in my bra at Epcot! (ok, TMI, I know!):lmao:
Did that work? Why did you not share that tidbit in August?;)

The basic blanket is done. I think I'll try to find a Donald Duck patch for the plain side. He seems to like it. Maybe I'll be able to throw his Winnie the Pooh blanket out soon. It is beyond repair.

I guess he'll get a chance to try out his new blanket since it is now nap time :thumbsup2
Deb-I have had good luck ordering from this place:
http://stylinonline.stores.yahoo.net/patches.html

They have a Donald Patch (it is much nicer in real life than it looks there) and lots of other Disney patches too.

In case anyone was wondering there are lots of Tink patches and JS patches too.:thumbsup2

I just heard from our diagnostician. She wants DS to come in on Friday to see her so she can re-evaluate him. His Dr. will be there so they can talk about adjusting his meds again. She did tell me 1) adolescence can increase the ADD behaviors and 2) his dosage is still on the low side, so it might just need to be bumped up another notch. I am pleased she is going to see him so we can get some input on what to do next. It's not so great that he will miss Social Studies to go to the Dr., but that's life!
Good luck!!!!:wizard:

doing better.

Her jaundice level on sunday was 18 yesterday it was 13.

On sunday according to the scale at a different drs office she weighed 6lbs 7oz which was a weight loss. Yesterday at her drs office her weight was 6ls 9oz. having tons of poppy diapers now yeah.

Olivia wants to hold her all the time.:)
Nice to hear she’s doing better!

The biggest thing is that tomorrow is my second anniversary of my gastric bypass surgery. In the past 2 years I've lost 100 pounds, and kept off 96 of it. I'm celebrating that!
Congratulations!:woohoo:

Thanks for the reminder...I have to email my resume out to a few promising jobs tonight.

I would covet good thoughts at 8 AM (my time) on Thursday as I am meeting with the head of SPRC and my boss to break the news to him that I am leaving.
:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Neither does Katie. I don't like that she is considered an "adult" when she only eats air!:lmao: We have decided to skip DDP for both April & August & just get the DDE card. Last year by the 5th day we were all so stuffed that we didn't enjoy the last few TS meals. It was just too much food.
We probably would have been happy with about ½ of our meals. We just weren’t that hungry in the heat and couldn’t eat a big meal day after day. I will not be doing the meal plan on our next family trip. I will likely still make an ADR for everyday but it will be nice to go the meals we want to go to instead of going because it's already paid for.

Did everybody see the Disney Visa code for Jan - March 15? Free hopper & water parks.
I didn’t get the email but did see it here on the Dis. I don’t think I’ll do it though. I already have a 1 day base ticket from our August trip that I plan to use to renew my AP in May and Joe has a 1 day base ticket from August that we’ll use to renew his AP in January (his AP expires in Dec but we might as well pay the renewal rate as I have no plans to go to Disney between 12/14/08 and 1/6/09. If I booked this package I would have new tickets and I’m not sure I could use them to purchase or renew a non premium AP.

I would love an AP discount on the room but right now I have a AAA room only for 5 nights for $369 so not too bad.

:rotfl2: Keep on reading... keep on reading... I know you can catch up to me, Heather!

I should have known better leaving for the weekend before fully catching up lol .. as of right now i'm still 47 pages behind .. and i still have to finish the kid's halloween costumes tonight .. we've all been sick since late last week and M&M's had it the worst .. her meds are doing a reversal on her .. instead of knocking her out she's wide awake .. uggghhh i'll catch up before Fri I promise LOL ..

I'm glad that everyone's made it back safe and sound even with slight airline problems.. I'm so happy to hear all about your trips and seeing all of the pictures makes me feel like i was kinda there with you all.

i'm gonna say now so i don't forget later

thoughts and prayers to all the families out in California. I hope they've come through all of the horribleness of the fires and the smoke.

Jennifer congrats on Virginia's Birth!!! you all looked beautiful in the picture of you 3 girls laying in bed together.

Jennifer I hope you get good news soon all of my crossibles are crossed for you and kyle.

Jen, I'm glad your dad is doing better and home now.

Deb Happy Belated Birthday for Hunter. I hope the pizza party went well. Glad the UTI is all gone and you had a clean bill of health. Prayers to your boss's family I hope that they can all find peace and that she doesn't suffer.

Tom congrats on the dresses in the first round, I see this round is going just as well!!! Kudo's to you!!

I'm trying to think of what else i remember reading .. maybe by the time i finish catching up i'll remember more. if not i'm sorry everytime i do the multi quote, i wind up somehow always loosing all of the quotes. ..

ok back to catching up :D

Bernadette - You should call when you get there and see if you can get Bounce back cheaper than AAA.

For which trip? I was thinking it would only work for August and I have AAA on ASMu family suites. I thought bounce back was 20% on values and that's what I have on Pop in Jan (is this in bounce back?) and ASMu in August. I don't think my May dates with Emma (pop) are in the dates.

I never had to a science fair project either.

I am pretty sure we barely studied science waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when I was in school. And the person who came up with the science fair idea had not even been born yet!

I got an email from Kathrin today that she had heard back from the company in Boston that she really was interested in. However, they are not interested in her right now. :( I know she has to be so disappointed. :sad1:

All of them. Bounce Back is probably the same as the 20% AAA but it never hurts to ask. I can't remember if any of the dates are in May, but like I said, if you are onsite and qualify for Bounce Back you might as well call and see what they quote you.

Right. Rub it in. Thanks.

:wizard: and :grouphug: to all I've missed. My notes got all messed up so I know I've missed some I just can't remember it all.

Vicki-I do think I missed your NWA question. I flew them in 1992 to Alberta and we didn't have any problems but that was a few years ago. We bought a larch tree after that trip to the Canadian Rockies. It is a pine tree that looses it needles. It was a tiny little thing when we bought it but now its taller than the house.

Work has been crazy. We are pretty much done with the budget for now (still need to spread it by month). Now we are on the rush to close October. We generally close the month 10 days after month end (always a Saturday) but this month they want to do it in 5 so they can put the October financials in the package that goes to the board of directors. So the next few days will be crazy too. We are having a special lunch at work on Monday to celebrate the Red Sox win. And then I go Disney on Thurday. I think next week will be a good week!

I've got so much I would like to do before my trip. I've got to do my Tshirts! Maybe I'll print them out tonight. I know better than to turn the iron on too late. I really want to make those F&WFest cards that Becky had the link for. I think I can do that over the weekend but I've got to pack too. I was also thinking about making Lizzy a passport but I may just do the cards we've used in the past as those will be easier.

I'm trying to find someone to pick us up at the airport. I don't want to be standing out waiting for the bus to the boat and then waiting for the boat if its going to be in the 20's.:scared1: I've got a friend that said she would but we wouldn't all fit in her car so she'd have to drive my van and she's used to a small car.
