The basic blanket is done. I think I'll try to find a Donald Duck patch for the plain side. He seems to like it. Maybe I'll be able to throw his Winnie the Pooh blanket out soon. It is beyond repair.

I guess he'll get a chance to try out his new blanket since it is now nap time :thumbsup2

It will always be MGM to me.

Hopefully they won't, they were already discussing that they want to do well & get no complaints.

Janet, just tell the boys that a newspaper is not a battering ram so they should not fling it with all their might into the front door. That's what our paper boy does. I have complained more than once because I don't like to think my door is being broken down at 5 AM every Sunday morning. It is a kid, though. I looked out one morning and saw him. He must help his dad with the route.

Maybe things will work out for us next year & we will be able to meet!

Have fun at the swimming lessons ;)

Looking at the '08 calendar it is possible that DS might be off the 10th for Fair Day. We never have off for Yom Kippur or Columbus Day. If we end up getting a package in August that requires one day passes we could apply those to AP renewals for DS & me and not be out TOO much money. Hmm.

Time to get ready for swimming.:scared: Chat with you all later.

Yes we want to see pictures! Glad to hear the swelling has gone down.

I will be in costume most of this week and will post pictures from my classes again, if you all are interested. They love my Sorcerer Mickey costume and were afraid I would not wear it this year. It is huge, but I can double the belt now... yes, ladies and gentlemen, I said DOUBLE... so I can cinch it up pretty well. Maybe next year I will think about taking it in somehow. :smickey:

Me, too!

If they are delivering to homes they will probably not go all the way up to the door with the papers. Our little guy STOMPS up the stairs and then HURLS the paper into the door. He must wake up our entire building.:sad2:

Elin - Glad your tooth isn't too painful! Yay for passing the vehicle inspections!:yay:

I just heard from our diagnostician. She wants DS to come in on Friday to see her so she can re-evaluate him. His Dr. will be there so they can talk about adjusting his meds again. She did tell me 1) adolescence can increase the ADD behaviors and 2) his dosage is still on the low side, so it might just need to be bumped up another notch. I am pleased she is going to see him so we can get some input on what to do next. It's not so great that he will miss Social Studies to go to the Dr., but that's life!

That would be great! I will still have vacation time since I am only using 5 days in August, so I can take a day or 2 off in October.

"Fun at swimming lessons" is an oxymoron. But at least we are done for another week!:rotfl2:

doing better.

Her jaundice level on sunday was 18 yesterday it was 13.

On sunday according to the scale at a different drs office she weighed 6lbs 7oz which was a weight loss. Yesterday at her drs office her weight was 6ls 9oz. having tons of poppy diapers now yeah.

Olivia wants to hold her all the time.:)

Jennifer - I am glad she is doing better! I am sure since she is pooping now her bilirubin levels will continue to drop.:)

Princess just hit some sort of fatigue wall. She was eating her sandwich and all of a sudden she said "Night night" and put her head on the high chair tray! This is why we changed to an earlier swimming class. She goes to sleep around noon at school, and now she can't stay awake past noon on regular days at home.

I got an e-mail from SW this morning (not a DING) for low fares. One way coming home from MCO was $71 but not on the flight we want. If I wanted to leave MCO at 7 AM or if I didn't mind getting to DFW at 10 PM I could save another $20 or so per ticket. As it is I think I will keep the flights we have. The price is up to $175 per ticket now (One way) so I guess a DING is unlikely.

Deb -- good luck with the surprise trip... what fun!

Elin -- I hope your tooth is feeling better until you can get that root canal and get it fixed! I'm in the middle of dental woes myself (shocker), so I sympathize! :sad2:

Let me know what they get in, Garrett is wanting a JS winter hat. I bought him one last year & it is nowhere to be found :sad2: I am looking for fleece hoodies for the boys & myself as well. Do you feel like my personal shopper :rotfl:

Have a good day at work!

I will be on the lookout for ya!

I was just pricing out some rack rate packages so I will be able to evaluate whatever deals come my way. Will somebody please talk me out of the Deluxe Dining? I keep thinking how NICE it would be to have all of our food paid for up front and not have to worry about it. $70 per person, per day for 3 meals, 2 snacks, and a refillable mugs. Booking through AAA would save us $480 off the cost of the room if we can't get a Bounce Back or some other deal. The problem is DS doesn't eat $70 worth of food in a day. Heck, even when he was on the child's DDP he barely ate $10 worth of food in a day!:rotfl: Well, maybe that's not true. He probably eats $30-$35 worth of food each day if we go to dinner at a TS with a menu. If we do buffets it doesn't matter that he doesn't eat because we still pay the adult price. Hmm.

Of course the thing about any DDP now is to remember the tips aren't included. I think tips would run about $40 per day total, but we could just charge that back to the room. Still more convenient than OOP the whole trip. I would only do deluxe DDP for the days DH is there. It would be better to have DDP for the front half so we could eat all the leftover "snacks" the next week. We could stock up on all sorts of non-perishables and have breakfast for the week at Pop!:rotfl2:

I keep asking DH if they have given out the seniority lists yet. He LOVES when I ask about vacation bid every day!;)

DS has mountains of homework again tonight.:sad2: The Social Studies teacher gave him an "A" on the homework that I said he didn't have to complete. It is a 90 instead of a 100 BUT he got a 90 on his vocab last week and he did the whole assignment last week! So that's fine. I will call another 504 meeting after he sees the diagnostician and we'll see if we can get all the teachers on the same page about how to reduce his assignments if necessary.

I have the same situation...I love the thought of the deluxe plan...not having to worry about anything...but my kids are such poor eaters.

Well, I am finally feeling better today. Just a little sluggish still, plus the residual cough. Luckily the cough seems to clear up once I am up for a few hours.

What are everyone's Halloween plans?

Glad that you are feeling better!

Alan has to work until 7:00 tomorrow, so I will stay home and hand out candy, while Katie and Jacob take the twins trick or treating. We live on a circle, so they have plenty of houses to visit without leaving our neighborhood. Once Alan comes home, he'll take them to his siblings houses and I'll stay home.

I'm going to make "finger" sandwiches with tomato (blood) soup for dinner beforehand. I'm going to flatten a breadstick and lay ham and cheese on top. Then I'll top it with another flattened breadstick. Pinch them together and bake them. I'll paint a green fingernail on one end and call it good. At least they'll eat before they start the annual candy gorge!

Tonight we'll be doing our pumpkins, too. Alan does the carving with the kids. I take the pictures, and roast the pumpkin seeds. I don't like the pumpkin goop! My kids do, though, so they'll have a good time.

The biggest thing is that tomorrow is my second anniversary of my gastric bypass surgery. In the past 2 years I've lost 100 pounds, and kept off 96 of it. I'm celebrating that!
