I'm also going to hazard a guess that the owner of the Dole Whip float is a mom who left her kids with a very understanding husband????? It looks fabulous!

Yes. There is one in the mall across the street, and one next to the dry cleaners I used to go to for my ExBosses. (I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones near me.) It is yummy.

Paciugo is AWESOME stuff! Would you believe they're putting one in within walking distance of my house?!

I must say, the Beach Club's gelato is pretty tasty, too!

Can I just say that I am loving all the trip pics!!! It looks like everyone had a wonderful time! Well except for the return flights and luggage problems. Can't wait to read more.

Bernadette- We American Girl here. The quality is outstanding. Definitely worth every penny.

Elizabeth- Molly has the Bitty Baby, I'm sure that is what Princess is getting. They are around $40.

I've never heard of Paciugo. The plaza with the Cold Stone is pretty high end other than Kohl's. Its a newly redone plaza that was pretty empty for a while. Now there is Barnes & Noble, Talbots, Talbots Kids, Talbots Men, Gap, Baby Gap but no kids Gaps, Whole Foods, Crate & Barrel, REI and lots of other specialty stores. It is a u shaped strip mall and they play music so it reminds me of Disney a bit.

In all of my days of shopping I have never seen a Talbot's Men! How interesting! That sounds like a nice center!

I was just telling Momboss tonight that when I was pregnant with DS there was a Disney Store in the Galleria. That's where I bought our Christmas stockings. When DS was newborn his first outing was to the Galleria, and we bought him a stuffed Piglet. Maybe 4 years after that my friend called and told me Steven Tyler was in the Disney Store at Galleria. Then she asked me who he is and why people were getting so frenzied! It was a shame that they closed it. Then they closed the one in the nice mall that I live near. The rumor for a LONG time was that it would reopen, but it never has. I know the profits from being in a "good" mall would offset the increase in rent but apparently they don't think so.

Yep. She made it home and Gary suprised her by picking her up at the airport. And neither of us had luggage problems, so I guess that is one good thing!

I think I was the only one that didn't. All 4 flights were on time and uneventful. Guess we were the lucky ones.

I've never been to the Beach Club. It is on my "to do " list.
If I was properly motivated I could walk to the Paciugo at NorthPark, but I prefer to drive.

10/20 Continued

Dinner for myself, Terry, Stephanie, Vicki, Chuck, Tammi, Bob, & Jo at California Grill. Wow! what a meal! Our server Walter was amazing! The sun was just going down when we got there & the sky was streaked with red.
My dessert..

After the delicious dinner we watched Wishes from the catwalk at the top of the CR. WOW!!! This was a wonderful experience made even more special by sharing it with my friends.

We hauled butt & took the monorail over to MK & just got in to see the start of Spectro. Some of the gang stayed at MK til midnight . Very cool, low crowds, nice weather.... We rode the Jungle cruise at night which I had never done before. Haunted Mansion (Terry showed me a hidden Donald in the ride! ) I didn't even know that existed! Got another Dole Whip float. We got a group shot on the photopass on mainstreet (all of us were holding food! )

Deb and I had the BEST! time meeting all of you. What a fun group of people. It immediately felt like being with old friends who you feel comfortable with. Thank you for making our fist getaway without children an absolute blast.

Robyn - I'm sure you're right about the baby doll. I warned Momboss they are expensive! If you and Emma come visit next summer we can go to the big new AG store and cafe! I'm sure I'll have scoped it out before then, but I imagine I will just pass through quickly until Princess gets older.
