We're home. However, our luggage still hasn't arrived and there is no status on the baggage status sight. Not good! We missed our connecting flight yesterday but got on a later one. We were only about an hour later than the original arrival time. We had a wonderful time.

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Hope they find your luggage soon!

Chanon & Janet missed their connecting flights yesterday too & had to stay overnight..both didn't get home til today.

Me with my Mai Tai in my $8 size 12 black dress  :woohoo: :yay:
Becky-I really love your TR!!!!

You look awesome in that dress!

I loved all your souvie pics. Your sunset photos were incredible.

I loved all the photos of Mickey & Stitch. Your brother’s Stitch is very cute! Before our trip in August Emma kept telling me she wanted to buy a Stitch at Disney. On our last full day I took Joe & Lizzy on Space Mnt and we bought her a Stitch. She likes him OK but she tells me she’s going to pick out her own Stitch on our next trip because I bought her one without teeth.

I have that Snow White T. Isn’t it a hoot?

Here is an eBay listing that has the "universal keeper" I just bought:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Disney-Pin-Trad...goryZ143QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I swear I only paid about $5 for it (I know I paid cash, and I wouldn't have parted with much more than that). I think the one like you found Elizabeth was about $7. I see from the Disney Pins site that that one isn't slated to be out until November, but I would bet that is the one I saw at WoD. I like the "Where the Magic Lives" tagline - I would have never considered something with the date or the "YOMD" on it, as it all gets dated so quickly.

I saw the one that we have on ebay too.

Has anyone ever had a problem with other people's pictures showing up in your photopass account?

Yep, we've had some strangers on our photopass.

This is the ornament I got for my anniversary

Very Cute. Hunter would love it

Post Disney depression has now been activated.
(sirens in the backround)

I suffer from Post Disney Depression everytime we leave Disney property

I just bought this yesterday and paid $4 for it if I remember correctly. I'll have to go check the receipt. ETA: Yep, price tag is still on it. $4 is what it was new at the Disney Pin place in DTD.

Welcome Home. I'm sorry to hear about your luggage. Hopefully it will show up tomorrow.

Us too and we're still at the airport waiting to get our flight home!!!

wah, wah, wah, wah.:sad1: :sad1:

Well at least you can come back here and relive it in trip reports.

Since Krisitne and Bill got back first maybe we'll hear their report soon. Thankfully their luggage made it home a day after them

Here is the latest update on Rees. I copied this from the CB. Sounds like this could be it! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

OK - please bear with me if I make a mistake, I was writing as fast as Denise was talking.

They are going to admit Rees, they are currently in the ER but will be admitted as soon as possible. They wanted to send them home with the idea that more Previcid was the answer. Denise stood firm and absolutely wouldn't budge. She made some phone calls and by the grace of God the GI team came down (the ones she's been waiting on!) and nearly immediately wanted him admitted. The game plan right now is:

tomorrow he is going to have endoscopic surgery where they go into his small intestine through his mouth so that they can biopsy an area of the bowel that is swollen and inflamed. I believe the word she used is "jujunitis" or something like that. If they can't successfully do an endoscopic surgery, they will wait 24 hours and then have to do a laproscopic surgery. The GI team is the team that is now in charge and will be doing the biopsys. Needless to say this is good news - at least competence has returned!

She has seen a patient advocate who listened to everything that Denise told her and promptly gave her her private cell phone number. So it sounds like things are progressing. She wanted to personally thank all of you for patiently listening to her vent and for all of your prayers. Her blackberry is about out of power and she can't answer everyone right now. So collectively lets get some positive thinking heading down to Georgia so that Rees can get better. Thanks everybody.

I am so glad that she held her ground. Hopefully they will make progress in his recovery now. It sounds like GI agrees that there is something big going on. It is too bad that they waited so long to see him.

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Hope they find your luggage soon!

Chanon & Janet missed their connecting flights yesterday too & had to stay overnight..both didn't get home til today.

I knew we were going to miss it and was surprised there was a later flight for us. We were delayed in Orlando because of toilet issues. They finally decided to close it and fly to Chicago anyway. With that and the bad weather, we landed when our connecting flight was leaving. I figured our luggage wouldn't make it but thought we'd have it by now. I'm starting to get worried about it.

oh that is some good news finally

Sorry Vicki and Kristine. It sounds like a lot of us had either plane or luggage problems.

Our flight was delayed 1/2 hour due to storms in the area. Thankfully we did not hit any bad weather in flight.

Elizabeth- I got Cold Stone Creamery Peanut
Butter Cup Perfection Creation-chocolate ice cream, pb, peanut butter
cups and fudge....it's yummy and I love ice cream but I hardly ever
eat more than 5 bites of ice cream at a time.
I’ve never had Cold Stone. That sounds awesome! I almost went to the Cold Stone in the plaza with Kohl’s on Sunday but I was afraid.

We just got back from a whirlwind weekend. Dh and I took a 4 day 3 night
to WDW without our children. This was our first ever vacation without
our 3 sons and it turned out to be sprinkled with pixie dust and full of
magic.
I loved reading about all your magic! Sounds like you had a great trip!

Hey guys! You have all been very busy! I
haven't really been able to keep up lately. I've been sick for six
weeks with a sinus infection, yeast infection, sinus infection, yeast
infection. A very vicious circle! The doctor finally gave me a steroid
shot and new antibiotics last Thursday, and I mostly stayed home until
today. Sending out PD and prayers to all of those who need them!
So sorry you’ve been sick for so long. Hope you can start to recover soon.

Welcome Home Vicki!!

Sorry to hear about your luggage...your clothes just wanted to stay on vacation a bit longer.

I am so glad they seem to be heading to a good diagnosis with Rees.

I gotta get off....Cassidy needs to actually do homework:confused3 be back later!!

Well American Girl is about $500 richer right now. :faint: :sad2: Thank goodness it's not all my $$. But Santa is finished shopping for my niece, and I am a little closer to being finished with my ever growing holiday list. Emma's birthday present from Molly and Lucy is in there too!
That stuff isn’t cheap is it? I spent $264 but some of it was for MIL & SIL. We got the Molly doll and 6 book set, accessories, skating outfit and skates, holiday gift, holiday dress and pjs for Lizzy & Molly. I had a free shipping code that saved at least $25. I’ve got to say I was surprised how truly beautiful the stuff is.

Lucy wanted to show off her new toy...

P1010084.jpg
How cool!!!

That reminds me, I never did post any of Matthew's 1st birthday pictures, did I? July was kind of a blur! :teeth:
I loved to see those!

Dining is better than camping, but I still don't think I am going to Maine! :rotfl:
You would be a whole lot closer to Deb & I!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the latest update:

Aidan's CO2 level dropped 10 points and is at his normal level. We just got the call that he is being released!

I have goose bumps just typing this!

Thanks for all of your support!

Welcome home little boy!!   :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

So sorry. I think a trip report would be very good for you right now.

Sorry to hear about your lost luggage. Hope it shows up soon.

Same thing happened to us...out of 3 bags, NONE of them were there after the flight. I was really upset because we used resort airline check in. Now I will always be nervous about using it. The bags did however get delivered to out house the next day.
YIKES! More lost bags. Glad to hear they’ve already showed up.

Us too and we're still at the airport waiting to get our flight home!!!

It is about time! I just don’t get it. They obviously didn’t believe Denise that he was that bad. She’s a nurse-why not believe her? Glad he’s finally getting the help he needs. That poor boy and his parents and siblings and grandparents who all had to watch him suffer.

How true!!!

I cried yesterday on Magical Express as we exited the property. Seeing that arch on the other side of the highway, knowing I'm leaving instead of arriving, makes me so sad.
Sorry but look at your countdown!

Chanon & Janet missed their connecting flights yesterday too & had to stay overnight..both didn't get home til today.
YIKES not them too!

there was NO information on our luggage on the status check site either. My guess is that you will get a call tomorrow morning

I'm just hoping they eventually arrive. It really concerns me that there is no info on the status check site. How can they not know where they are?

We've used resort check-in for the last 3 or 4 trips and not had a problem.

Thanks for confirming, Vicki - I'm glad I haven't lost my mind yet!

We're home. However, our luggage still hasn't arrived and there is no status on the baggage status sight. Not good! We missed our connecting flight yesterday but got on a later one. We were only about an hour later than the original arrival time. We had a wonderful time.

:scared1: Oh no!!!

Although I would much rather have my luggage lost coming home, rather than going. At least you still have a lot of your own things at home! I'm glad you guys arrived safely, otherwise. :goodvibes

Same thing happened to us...out of 3 bags, NONE of them were there after the flight. I was really upset because we used resort airline check in. Now I will always be nervous about using it. The bags did however get delivered to out house the next day.

Yikes! (I must admit, this is why I never use RAC, even when we're flying a participating airline.)

I'm just hoping they eventually arrive. It really concerns me that there is no info on the status check site. How can they not know where they are?

Who did you guys fly, Vicki? I'm impressed to even hear that there is a baggages status check site for whatever airline it is. I've had my bags lost by both American and Southwest, and neither could ever tell me exactly where it was, until it eventually showed up at the airport. They could only tell me what they were guessing happened to it.

American lost my brother's bag between Houston and Dallas about 2 years ago - it ended up getting put on a totally different carrier's flight to La Guardia!!!! :scared1:

I had a fabulous time!

To Deb, Chris, Chanon, Janet, Anne Marie, Terry, Stephanie, Lindsay, Kristine, Bill, Vicki, and Chuck - You all are the just the nicest people. I'm so glad that I found this "home" and that we can come here together to share our lives. It was wonderful meeting each of you. I'm just sorry we aren't closer so we can do things like this more often. Thank you all for a great time!

I totally agree Tammi!!! It was so much fun to talk to people who are as obsessed about WDW as much as I am. It was also great fun to hear everyones voice. Now when I read your posts I can hear you voice saying it.

I agree with what has been posted already, I think once Bob experiences Disney with his DD, he will feel differently.

Deb and I had the BEST! time meeting all of you. What a fun group of people. It immediately felt like being with old friends who you feel comfortable with. Thank you for making our fist getaway without children an absolute blast.

10/19
MGM - Chanon, Janet, & I went over to MGM. Chanon & I rode Tot & R&RC. we met up with Deb & Chris & Tammi & Bob. We shopped, ate lunch at the ABC Commisary. Deb, Chris, Janet, Chanon, & I stalked some dream team members (but Deb can tell that story better). I had a few hours at MGM on my own so I went over to see One Man's Dream & HSM2 (again) I love that music! Shopped some more & rode Tot 5 times.
I met up with Deb & Chris for Fantasmic (thanks for saving me a seat guys!!!) Tammi & Bob came in soon after. The show was great, but there was no dragon, just Malificent at the end.:confused3 After that I headed back to Pop ( shopped more at the everything Pop store). The days were a blur so I know I got in late but can't remember when.
