One thing we did for Brandon that he loved, was to fill any empty mini M&M container with 2 quarters, 1 penny until it was full, then every time we came across one of the pressed penny machines he was all set.
:thumbsup2 It works really well for the rides that exit into gift shops.

We were too lazy to ask anyone to take our pictures last weekend at the zoo. Kevin's Photoshop skills really come in handy!
Great job Kevin! LOVE all the other photos too.

OK, can I just tell you all how gross this pie is?
How disappointing! Hope your new pie is better!

Okay so we are getting ready for Olivia's birthday party and she decides she wants to mix her own cake.
Love all your photos but these cake photos are really cute!!!!!

Depending on the time of year, maybe ponchos. Also, what about a small backpack, bag or fanny pack for the kids? I think that Terra will get a backpack this time to put her autograph stuff and a couple of snacks in.
I bought Lizzy a small purse size backpack at Walmart. I think I got her and Eeyore one but the Tink one was really cute too and I had a hard time choosing.

Bernadette - Have you seen any Red Sox Potato Heads at Target our anywhere?
No. Are you watching the game now? I usually go the Target at SouthBay off the expressway. It can be a 10 minute drive from my office but if traffic is bad it can take 40+ minutes to get back to my office so I don't go too often for lunch and traffic would of course be bad after work so I never do that. The one closest to my house in this direction is 30+ miles away so I never go to that one. There was a rumor that they were going to put one in between my house & office but that building has been vacant for over a year.

Ok, so do you want to hear my funny story? Except that my head is going to explode as a result :p

These are the messages we came home to:

"You have _2_ new messages. First new message:

"Jennifer, this is ___ from Dr A's office. Good news, we found.... end of message "

"Next new message This is a continuation of the first message, sorry. So please arrive to the Christ hospital on End of message

"End of messages."

WHAT?!?! I so have left a message for them, but seriously....?

I'm obviously beaming that it seems we have at least 1 embryo. 1 or 10, who knows. It could look like crap or be perfect, I have no idea.

I'll keep you posted......
OH...you poor thing. I'd be going crazy! Sounds like good news!!!

Bernadette, and anyone else interested,
Lowes has the 3d glasses that you put on while looking at Christmas lights, with one you see stars, another snowflakes, and the third I found is Santa. They are really neat and not very expensive.
Thanks for reminding me! I've got to find the ones Theresa bought for me last year.

I bought a bunch of those last year and we left them in the room the night we went to MGM. We'll try again this year!
I never took mine out of my waist pack.:confused3 :rotfl:

Here is a pic of DS & Princess at the zoo last week.

How cute!!!!

The only REALLY vivid baby dream I ever had never came true.
I had a baby, and the baby had a nanny. An older lady. The baby had a nursery that was all done in yellow and white. I went in and got the baby out of the crib, even though the nanny was trying to put the baby down for a nap. I don't know if it was a boy or a girl. In the dream I knew the nanny was mad, but it was MY baby. And this dream was years before I became a nanny! I walked with the baby out into a courtyard - it was a HUGE house, and the courtyard was in the middle. The flooring was red tile of some sort, and the tile was wet like it had just been hosed down. Funny how I can still remember the exact details of that dream. I was taking the baby to see my DH, who I think was some sort of Columbian drug lord.:scared: Anyway, nothing even remotely close to that ever happened.:confused3 Unless it happened in a previous life and the dream was more like a memory.:rolleyes1
I correctly dreamnt the sex of all of my kids. I was convinced Emma was a boy but I dreamnt she was a girl. Even when the ultrasound said she was a girl I didn't believe it.:rotfl:

I got the turbo straps for my Mickey crocs in the mail today. I'm not sure they are any better than the regular straps. I don't think they were worth the $10 but the lime green straps do look cute on my black Mickey crocs.

This evening, I had the "pleasure" of taking my children to a Pump It Up birthday party. I knew before I even left the house that it was going to be exhausting, because Kevin had a church function, so I was a solo parent.

For those of you unfamiliar with Pump It Up, it's one of those venues that have rooms full of inflatable bouncy structures and slides. There were 24 kids present, ranging in age from 1 to 14 (family and friends). Of course, parents were present, too.

The first 1/3 of the party was fun...the second 1/3 was tolerable, and by the time we got to the cake and presents, I was ready to bash my head against the wall. Both of my children failed to take a nap after the zoo, so we had some unpretty moments toward the end.

I'm just a "homemade" birthday party kind of gal. My ears are still ringing!

I have had the "pleasure" of taking Brother & Sister to a couple of those. It is hard to keep track of 2 little ones in there! Glad you survived!

Bernadette - No wonder Emma hates anything girly or pink! Your subliminal thoughts penetrated into the womb!:rotfl2: I wanted DS to be a girl. When they told me at the sonogram it was a boy I told them that was the CORD between HER legs. But then my OB said that radiologist hadn't been wrong in over a decade, so I decided I better suck it up and plan to have a boy. You can see who was right in this scenario.:rolleyes1

As I was looking through my photos I came across these that I thought were funny!
I remember Leighanna acting goofy that day, so I told her that I wanted to take a picture of her being silly!

Does the red strap come off? I've seen the turbo straps at the sporting goods store but I never really examined them to see how they work. I keep my straps flipped forward.

Emma's school photo. The photographer is really great. Emma wants to let her hair grow so it looks a bit too long. I have a hard time getting Emma to look at me when I take her photo so this photographer did really great! Emma told me she got her to smile by screaming at her.:rotfl:

I've got agree with all the "they grow too fast" talk today. My sister in law made that sweater for Lizzy when Lizzy was 17 months old. The first photo is one of my all time favorite photos! Just pure magic that I caught that moment as this was taken with a film camera.

Bernadette - That is such a cute pic!
DS's school photos for the past five years have been DS in a plain white polo in front of a blue backdrop. Gotta love mandatory uniforms.

That is a great picture!

Leighanna got hers back, I believe that we are opting for a retake!

The crazy photographer didn't even center Leighanna in the picture, and she had such a fake smile. We even wrote comments to the photographer on how to get a natural smile from her. Apparently he didn't read it, or he was reading it when he took the picture, and only got half of her in it!

All caught up, and must go to bed. More shopping tomorrow.

Love the silly pictures Tom.

What did we do before digital cameras?!! :rotfl:

Good night Heidi!

I think I'm logging off too. We have another busy day ahead of us tomorrow: church, pumpkin patch, Halloween fun at Parky's Farm.

I'm glad I didn't pack away the summer clothes yet...we'll be picking out our pumpkins in shorts!

Sweet dreams DDA!
