The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 30

Trivia night was fun last night! Our team ended up winning by one point. Good thing too since our team name was "The Know-It Alls". We didn't need the back-up name we wrote on the other side just in case. It was those darned Bible questions that hurt us. We had a round of Old Testament and one of New Testament questions with things like "Which King did x" or "What book of the bible starts with this verse?". Luckily the team that had one of the associate pastors on it didn't do well either. Terra had a great time playing too so it was all in all a good night.

I made a neat discovery on eBay when I was doing feedback yesterday. Now they have those "star" ratings where you rank sellers. For the one pin that I know with 100% certainty is fake I put 2 stars for accuracy of description and a new box popped up asking what was inaccurate! One of the choices is "counterfeit", and it says the comment will not be shared with the seller! That ROCKS!

Sounds like you had a good time! I couldn't answer Bible trivia even if it was designed for preschoolers.

So the Sam's Day coffee shop thing was a great success! When I drove by at lunch time there were at least 50 people in the parking lot as well as 2 camera crews. Erin said that she saw the same thing the 3 times she drove by throughout the day. When we went at 3pm there were only a few people in line, but by the time we were done getting our order there were at least 25 families in line. We saw tons of Moms and their kids on the way home from school. Another TV crew was interviewing Sam and the organizer at the time. Mom heard them say that usually a $40-$50 day is normal. At that point they had served just over 1,000 orders. The organizer was really surprised at the turnout as well!

We also found out that Sam employs primarily people with disabilities and also donates a portion of the proceeds over month to local charities.

I got a call from Chanon this morning. They were supposably double checking what rubber ducky Theresa wanted. It is the haunted mansion one. I really think they were checking to see if I had Virginia yet

Today, I've got to run to the "liberry", and to the store. Alan and I are going to dinner with some neighbors, so I've got that to look forward to. I sure hope that Katie is up to babysitting that long. We've started trusting her, and so far, so good! It's nice since we can pay her less than a regular babysitter, and she feels like she's getting a ton of money. I know that won't last long, but until she figures us out...we're golden!

I have loved seeing all the pictures. Keep 'em coming!!!

"Next new message This is a continuation of the first message, sorry. So please arrive to the Christ hospital on End of message

WHAT?!?! I so have left a message for them, but seriously....?

I'm obviously beaming that it seems we have at least 1 embryo. 1 or 10, who knows. It could look like crap or be perfect, I have no idea.

Oh, my goodness!!! It sure sounds like good news!!! I'll be on pins and needles until you tell us what's going on. But I'm very positive for you!!! This is feeling very good!!!!

Oh, I'm not worried, but thank you! I have always wanted twins. And not in a novelty sort of way where little girls like to dress the same, but deeply, in a way I can't explain without sounding like a goof. It's truly almost as great as my longing for any child, although of course (especially now) any single child would be beyond miraculous as well.

I actually laughed out loud at God when I found out we would have to do IVF, saying "I didn't HAVE to shoot for multiples"

I appreciate your positive thoughts, though. Even if this is good, of course the hardest part is yet to come... whether or not God decides this is the right time, and allows anything to stick! :~
