Good morning!!

I just printed our boarding passes, 2 hours later than my 24 hour window, because my aunt was sleeping in the room that the computer is in. I still got group A, numbers 16 & 17. Woohoo!!! We are leaving here around noon to head back to VA. The only thing I forgot to bring here were pajamas for the kids, so they got to sleep in my mom's tshirts. I'm glad it was something minimal!

Tomorrow at this time we will be landing at MCO and be looking for Deb & Chris!

Jen - I'm so sorry your grandpa is not doing well. I know it's so hard to watch. :grouphug:

Good morning everyone! Since my computer time seems to be unreliable, I'm going to throw out one big...

HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!!!!

to everyone leaving in the next few days. If you hear some sobbing in the distance, that's just the rest of us missing you all and wishing we were there! They may also be my tears joining in with Anne Marie and everyone else at Wishes, Illuminations, etc. Have a wonderful time! And remember we want pictures (lots of them!!!) and full reports from everyone. Can't wait!!

We'll be looking for you too :cool1: :cool1: It's finally starting to feel real.

I decided to call my doctor this morning as I'm still not 100%, but much better than I was. I still have the need to go now feeling even if I just went. Anyway she prescribed additional antibiotics to make sure that I stay well through the weekend. She also wants me to take a med that numbs the urinary tract system much like novacaine. I need to take it around the clock through the weekend as it should help things settle down. That will get me through to my appointment next Thursday. I'm glad I called because I wouldn't want it to come back while I was at WDW  I've packed plenty of Advil and my heavy duty meds so I will enjoy myself one way or another.

Janet I have added velcro to the shoulder strap and put it in my park bag so you should be good to go.

Last Call for Fairy Godmailer or for anyone that needs something picked up. I need to pack my list later this afternoon.

I made a run to Walmart last night and picked up some disposable rain ponchos. We have the Mickey Ones, but I hate to carry them wet. We had planned to bring our Cabelas Rain jackets which are similar to windbreakers, but we would swelter in the temps that they are predicting. I think (hope) that I have everything packed now. I may call CRO just to make sure they still have our King Room request as it doesn't show on the confirmation email.

Hope the meds do the trick and keep you happy and healthy this weekend!

If you are passing through the animation/Playhouse Disney area of MGM and happen to see anything with Ohh and Ahh (the blue and red monkeys) can you let me know. I have no idea if there is anything at all, and doubt there is, so don't go to too much trouble. Chase is enamored by them so we really wish there was something with them on it. Thanks!

We are home from the ENT. Rees has surgery next Thursday, Oct 25, to cauterize both sides of his nose and replace his ear tubes. He was so nervous and upset when we were at the office. They have ordered a little "happy juice" when he arrives at the surgery center to keep him calm.

I am supposed to get an update from the Ped around lunch with progress on the GI appt. Keep praying, and I'll post when I hear something.

Goos morning, DDA!

Mickey - Christmas coloring book, stickers. Cars - pencils, notebook, maybe stickers. Ariel - I don't think so. They had some little princess figures like the Pooh figures but they looked kind of funky.

thanks I will have to try to make it their this week,

Can't say that I wouldn't be upset if I was Rees. The poor kid....I will be praying for a quick appt. with the GI and next Thursday for the surgery.

How are Davis and Brantley-Kate doing health wise?

Deb
Olivia would love a post card if you have time.

I just got a call from my OB I am GBS neg.
I was Positive with Olivia and got Antibiotics. Well the Antibotic of choice is Penicillin which I have since become allergic to. So I am happy that I dont have to stress about getting another Antibiotic and getting enough doses in or enough time in after the first dose. NO Blood cultures and CBC on Virginia.

That's great news, Jennifer! Sounds like things are going well!

I usually cry at the drop of a hat. I even cry on soaring.

I've done that a time or two, too! :goodvibes

Thats my plan too!!! Drop the bags off at Pop & head to MK!!! Hang on little dole whip float, momma's coming!:lmao: (ok, sorry I'm tired!:rotfl2: )

:rotfl: :rotfl:

It's official!!! thisBob and I are homeowners!!!!

Congrats, Chanon and Bob! I'm so glad all went well.

I am having a crummy day. I took Princess to Dollar Tree to get her out of the house - they have a TON of Winnie the Pooh stuff! But I digress...
SOMEBODY put an enormous ding on the Black Pearl. It is on the passenger front quarterpanel - it is down to the metal and the metal is actually dented in. I didn't notice it until we were home, and I don't know for sure that's where it happened.

Also got a call from DS. On the online grades last night I saw that he had a 33 in math for one paper. They are supposed to be allowed to re-do any paper and get a 70. Never any grades lower than 70 is what we were told at Open House. Well, he has a 33, a 56ish, and now today he was told he gets a ZERO for something but he doesn't know what it is! OK, I get that he has ADD but this "I don't know" is driving me over the edge. I was thinking of NOT going to the school tonight but now I am going to be forced to go find out what the HE,um,CK is going on. If the teacher KNOWS he has trouble WHY can't he pitch in just a little bit? I was dead set against Honors math to start with, and this is NOT changing my mind! :headache: DS also doesn't know anything about his band grade and doesn't know anything about an assignment in Social Studies that was showing as incomplete or another that was showing that needed to be made up by tomorrow. I don't think I have the strength to get through 6th grade. :sad2:

I'm sorry to hear about the Pearl, Elizabeth. That is so wrong that someone just took off. :sad2:

I hope things get sorted out with all the school work. I promise you, you guys can get through the 6th grade - just a bit of a learning curve at the moment!

Denise - I hope that Emory can get you in ASAP!! Miles of :grouphug: and buckets of :wizard: to accompany all of our prayers.

Ditto, Denise! :wizard:

V & A huh? OOOOH-LA-LA! Maybe someday when I win the lottery, or sell a few things on Evil-Bay I will make a ressie for DW and I!

Hey Tom - don't forget to send me the links of your eBay auctions - I do plan on getting online this weekend at Pop, and want to be able to send the links along. ;)

So at 8:45 I loosened my sweatpants to form the must have "plumbers crack" and tackled the leaking sink. Chris actually helped so it wasn't as miserable as it could have been  I think the plumber's butt inticed him to help :lmao: I did not get as much done today as I had hoped, but I'll work on it in the morning since I need to be up very early to check in for our flight. I still plan to find time to do my nails at some point ;) Nick asked if he could go with us to the airport and was disappointed to find out the we will be leaving the car there. Hunter has mentioned several times that he is going to miss us and that he wishes he could come :upsidedow I know that they will have fun with my parents and they can call whenever they want too so all should be fine.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I hope it's finally fixed this a.m. We're getting close!!!

we dont think so--
the dinner tonight was canceleld because we got a call gpa wasnt doing too well--so mom and i went down there and he was so weak--this is the worst any of us have ever seen him--were calling the dr tomorrow so she can do tests to see if this is the cancer spreading to the bone (which they were watchiing for)...it was so hard tonight and i had many meltdowns--just a bad night..but they think the wrisit is just hurting because everything is hurting rght now

I'm so sorry to hear this news, Jen. Continued  :wizard: for your family and grandfather.

You too? How many does that make? You, Anne Marie, Terry, Janet, who else? Someone needs to design a DDA hankie!;)

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I feel an extended lunch coming on.....:cloud9: :surfweb:

I have found my DD's pass, my DGD's pass, my SIL's pass. No AP for me. And my Disney Quest pass is with it! Not in my Passporter. Where in the heck did I put it?????:scared: :scared:

Don't sweat the AP, Stephanie - any Guest Services window can pull up your info., and print you a new one!

You know there's a Disney trip in the near future if Deb is up and posting at 6:30 am!! :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl:

We woke up to a balmy 34 degrees this morning. Our boys had on jeans and long sleeved shirts with jackets. Some of the kids at the bus stop had on shorts and t-shirts. Where are those parents?:confused3 I wonder if our bodies can handle going from temps in the 30s to temps in the 90s. I sure can't wait to find out :rotfl2:

Yikes! Although I wish we had a little bit of cool weather - the past few days it's been gray/misty in the low 70's, but we're supposed to see the sun again today with highs in the 80's. I'd really like to see fall - I'm tired of spring/summer!

Make sure you pack some vitamins or something like Airborne to combat the inevitable colds that seem to follow when you go from one extreme temp to the other!

One of our neighbors decided to bang on the wall starting at 3 AM and continuing off and on until 4 AM. They did the same thing on Saturday morning, so now it is becoming a habit. I am calling today to complain. Saturday it was softer, almost just tapping. Today it was knocking, but not like hammering, so I have NO IDEA what they were doing.:sad2:

Well, I have a theory on what it could be....;)

eeeewwwww

Lots of :wizard: :wizard: to keep the sickies away! Sounds like you're packing a full arsenal - try to get some rest today!

Poor little guy. Lots of continued prayers and :wizard: for him.

Denise - I hope you hear something soon!:wizard:

Bernadette - Meant to say I like the photos of TIGGER and Emma! I hadn't had any coffee when I posted this morning.

Lindsay - I still haven't heard from the band director, but I feel better about the rest of it. For now.
The tempo of the knocking is like somebody knocking on a door. The knocking that woke me up was 5 knocks. Then nothing. A few minutes later more knocking. Every few minutes. Once there were 20 knocks, then nothing. If it was louder I would think it was hammering. It doesn't sound anything like a headboard banging against the wall. Since I was wide awake for an hour I had plenty of time to think about it.:rotfl2: I also think if it happens again I am going to find something to bang back with! Like a baseball bat!

Deb - Hope the new meds help!

I hope everyone that is leaving today has safe, on time flights!

I have read everything... good luck to Rees. Feel better, Deb. Safe travels home, Tammi.

I am logging off here and won't be back on until October 25 or 26.

Keep it to a dull roar, please! :rotfl:

I will see MANY of you tomorrow or Friday!! :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

Safe travels to all about to head out. :wave2:

Just wanted to pop in for a minute and wish everyone leaving safe travels. I just can't imagine any of you are going to have a good time ;)

We have McDonald's night for Emma's school and then we need to hunt down pieces for her costume.

Also wanted to share some pics of Lucy, thought you'd appreciate them...

That's bringing her up right. Mickey's a girl's best friend.
Colby HAS to have his Donald Duck Pirate Rubber Ducky for his baths. He wants us to buy him a different version on our trip.

I need to head out to pick up the new meds and then I'm off to work.
