Lucy is just too cute, Robyn!!!!!

Yes, a big safe travels to everyone traveling today and tomorrow!!!

I am so excited, I can hardly contain myself. My brain is fuzzy and has decided that it doesn't have any interest in "work" today. :rotfl: I'm eating a quick lunch at my desk, and then I think I will be going over my packing list, double-checking park times, etc. I will be about to land this time tomorrow!!! :yay:

I tried valiantly to get SW to let me switch to the earlier flight, but to no avail. So, I won't land until 2:20 - have to get my bags, run out to the Emerald Aisle, fly to Pop, and then hightail it to the MK. It's doubtful I'll be at LTT at 4 p.m., but I will be there as soon after as I can manage!

I'm trying to decide if I want to ride the bus from Pop to the MK, or if I should just drive to the TTC. I hate to wait, and if I drive myself, I will at least feel like I'm moving (although I won't like the exodus at the end of the night). For any of you that have stayed at Pop, how frequently do you think the buses run mid-afternoon?

I have got to pare down what I'm going to take. Like Chanon, when I began pulling stuff out last night, I had WAY too many shirts. Although I will be planning on at least 2 outfits a day, since I know how hot I will get. :sad2: I had really hoped for a bit nicer weather this late in the month. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for NO RAIN tomorrow night!

Robyn - Lucy is SOOO sweet! How can you stand it?

Lindsay - Sorry - I don't think we have been at Pop very often in the middle of the day. Hopefully you wouldn't have to wait too long, because people are always coming back from the parks.

ENABLER ALERT:
I was at the mall earlier and I found some good stuff!

Macy's has Crocs backpacks and "sling" bags for $30 - VERY limited colors, though. They are permanent markdowns, so they SHOULD be coupon eligible when they next coupons come out, probably Friday.
Gap Kids has an extra 25% off all sale prices (they NEVER do that!) and their uniform shorts are marked down to $7.99. This is only useful IF your child will wear shorts to school.
Gymboree has had a new round of markdowns. I got DS a jacket (navy blue, no hood) for $23. I got 3 outfits for Princess for $78 (shirts, pants, and socks). They still have a bunch of summer stuff, but the things I got for her are for fall. Yes, DS still fits in Gymboree clothes.:rotfl:
The reason I went to the mall was to buy a pair of Crocs in chocolate brown for myself. Got those at Nordstrom. Nordstrom.com has free shipping if you buy a pair of full price shoes.

I saw the Cinderella Croclings at the Crocs kiosk, but Momboss wants Ariel for Princess.

YAY!! for all of you printing your boarding passes.
*Channon Congrats to you and YourBob, on a smooth closing. I bet it must feel GREAT to be homeowners.
*Deb, I hope the sickies stay away or at least under control for your trip. also for the water stains you were talking about, pick up a pumis stone ( the kind ya use on your feet) no it won't scratch the toilet/sink/tub ( unless you have an acrylic sink) and scrub the stains with it, find the cheapest one you can find as it will break down as you use it. we have well water and get the yucko stains here as well and the pumis does WONDERS with out the caustic smells.
*Tom, I'm glad to hear you're finally feeling better. I can't wait to see how your evilbay sales go on all the great outfits you've made.
*Jen, sorry about you night with your grandparents. I hope that things get a little easier on all of you and that they can get hims comething to stop all the aches and pains.
*Denise, more T&P coming your way for Rees. I hope all the preasure from your Ped gets him in to see the GI soon.
*Elizabeth, sorry about hubby's fall, i hope he's not feeling too sore, and i hope the watch was an easy fix. YA for DS's math grade being better then what you expected. sorry about the band grade and the fact that the directer wasn't around to talk to . The dresses story with DadBoss was too funny. and I hope Princess is back to herself soon and the grumpiness is a short lasting thing. as far as the banging .. I have a feeling Lindsay and I are on the same page with our thoughts... would the banging by any chance be their bed room wall against your wall ???
*Stephanie, I hope you find your AP and Quest pass soon. did you by any chance put it in the bag you were planning on taking with you or the last suitcase you used while in the world ? or maybe a hand bag /bacl pack that you were planning on taking with you on this trip?
*Kristine and Bill, I'm so gald that the start of your trip has been soo great. You both look Great in the pictures you posted. you certainly can't tell in those pictures all that has been going on in your lives. the world does wonders for relaxation and recooperation that's for sure. Enjoy the rest of your trip, i hope it continues as great as it has started.
*Becky, I hope life starts to slow down a bit for you and that you can get the bank to step up and finally get everything sorted and taken care of.
*Tammi, I was so sorry to hear about your Aunt. have a safe trip back now that you're already on the road. and make sure you get some relaxing time in while you're in the world. as everyone has said .. don't wear yourself out with all of this. If you forget something in the kid's bag for their dad's he should be able to pick something up if he doesn't already have things there for them. i'm sorry that you had to sit and write a list of all he things that the kids have going on, but as we all say time and time again .. men ( most men few excluded, Super dad with no cavities over here :P) really don' have a clue what or when, and they count on us to give them the list of to do/to go/ to take on a daily basis.
*Elin, I hope that Kathrin's interviews have gone off with a smash and that she's given her choice of places to work.
*Amy, Mathew's scary face as just adorable lol .. and Alyssa at the princesses on ice was atooo cute. the show was here this past Jan and I and butch's cousin took the girls. I think I watched M&M and Jackie ( who's now 12) more then the show itself. and guess what .. the 11 year old was just as amazed by the show as my then 19 month old. it's such a magical show for sure.
*Robyn, I'm so loving the picture of the girl's in the pumpkin patch. I'm hoping that we'll do the pumpkin patch this sat morning and Hershey in the dark that night. should be fun :D
*Karen, I've read that a few times now on various pages and e-mails and everytime i read it i have to laugh over and over again. it's such a true and great story. I hope you find the perfect attendent and soon. and i'm so sorry to hear about your job. it reallys stinks that he pulled out on you like that, but i guess it's good that you found out now and not down the road. Good luck finding something you like!
*Tia, I'm glad to hear the Terry's prognosis is looking better with each day. continued T&P to him and the family.
*Heidi, I'm so glad that you're enjoying having your mom and sister so close!
*Jennifer, WOOHOO for neg. results. I still can't believe you're working this far into things and with the contractions. More power to you!, I hope the chiropractor was able to alleviate some of the pain for you.
*Jennifer, T&P that your retrieval goes well and you have great news soon.
*Theresa, Congrats to Cassy and the band! and keep reminding yourself it's their grades, they'll pull through and as long as they're happy wit whatever they go into, isn't that what we all really want for our kids?
*To Everyone heading to the world today and in the next few days pixiedust: for safe travels and on time flights HAVE FUN FOR ALL OF US that can not be there with you!

Hi, Heather! How are things going for you?
You and Lindsay need to get your minds out of the gutter!:rotfl2: No, really, the knocking isn't like that. It's like somebody knocking on a door. For an hour.

My mind went there too, and now I'm thinking Viagra. :rotfl:

I hope everyone who's going to WDW has a wonderful, safe, magical trip! :wizard: Can't wait to see the pictures!

Thanks a bunch, Theresa! Can I make a request from all the DDAs who are doing this? How about we agree to NOT buy any Disney ornaments for ourselves until after the ornament exchange is done in case we would end up getting the same thing our ornament buddy gets us? :goodvibes
i have seen some disney ornaments i want but i have already told myself wait till i get my ornaments from the exchange

You girls are silly!:rotfl:
It really is just like someone knocking on a door. They knock, then they pause, then they knock again, then they pause. But then when they knock 20 times in a row it sounds more like hammering - not louder - just more like hammering than knocking. Maybe they are hammering a bunch of thumb tacks or something. My other thought was that at one point there was a little kid next door. I *thought* he moved out, but maybe not. It's possible the little kid is waking up and kicking the wall without anybody in his own apartment noticing.:confused3

I saw a Mickey Lenox ornament at Macy's. Soooo cute. But soooo breakable, and $30. I can see Arabella knocking over the tree and Mickey meeting an untimely demise.:guilty: Maybe I will buy one and put it up until the naughty kitty is older.

things are going good now that the party is over with lol. there weren't any fights with the x or his family that showed kinda with "last minute" notice :confused3 RJ had a great day and got to see everyone together and made out like a bandit, if you like transformers :rolleyes1 . of which of course when he can't transform them in 30 secnds he hands them to one of us who has to remember how each and everyone of the 15 that he got in total goes together both ways lol we had a total of 8 kids in the house and they were realtively clean about things lol .. the toys that were taken out were all ut back even if another child had to put them back.. and the pinata .. never again will i buy one that they have to hit i don't care if " Mom's it's the ONE I HAVE TO HAVE" the string ones are all i'm buying anymore .. these kids beat the heck out of that thing for over 45 minutes and nothing opened up .. Butch finally started strategicaclly "cutting" spots that the kids were continually hitting to get things moving... or so we thought. Even with the cutting in place they beat it for another 20 minutes with only one piece of candy coming out.... of the fill hole lol .. needless to say Butch finally ripped it apart because the kids were getting tiffed about it taking so long lol. I have no clue who got him what because he decided to go against my wishes and opened everything while i was still cutting cake for everyone .. thanks to his father's prompting because his sister had to leave early .. uggghhhh her child was the only one i had a problem with that day and it wasn't really 'till the cake cutting, for some reason the child wanted to be under my feet with her hands on the table right next to the cake , where i was bringing the knife down each time. i must have asked her at least 15 times to move away from the table and her mother said nothing .. so i finally said " D... you need o bring N.. over there with you before she gets her fingers cut because she refuses to get from under my feet and away from the table" ... D didn't like that i pointed out her child's lack of listening skills but o well ... Other then that .. the day as long as it was .. was a great day .. Sunday we went to Nana's and did a little shopping with his " credit card" ( he got a gift card from my cousin lol ) so he bought what he knew mommy would not buy him ....... MOO SAND ( i left the N off because he swears it's MOO sand and not MOON sand lol ) so far we've only lost about 1/4 of the sand .. tomorrow we'll be picking up Butch's Aunt at anout 10:30 pm when she gets in from Margate Florida. she'll be up for a long weekend and she'll head back Mon afternoon. Sat we're leaving Nana, Aunt M and they're best friend to have girl's night as Butch and I or just I will be taking the kids to Hershey Park in the dark. it should be a fun filled weekend lol .. Hopefully.
My mind went there too, and now I'm thinking Viagra. :rotfl:

:O: Amy, I heard a good Viagra joke last night but i'm not sure it's Appropriate for the dis boards lol .. now all i see is little blue pills dancing around in my head lol :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Heather - spaces girl, spaces. :upsidedow I was getting a headache trying to read your posts.

Hi, everyone! Sorry I haven't posted much since I got back on Sunday. Things happened.

I want to wish all of you heading out a fabulous time!!! I can't wait to hear all about it, and see the pictures!

Alan and I had a wonderful time in New Mexico! We attended the Four Rivers Storytelling Festival. It was amazing!!! They had 4 tents set up, and at intervals throughout the 2 days, different tellers would perform. They even had student tellers from the local schools perform. It was really cool! I got to hear some incredible stories. I really loved Andy Offut-Irwin, and Syd Lieberman! Just amazing!!!! On our last night there, our group got a private tour of the new library in the town. It is AMAZING!!!! The children's reading room is just adorable, with small couches, tables, chairs, etc., all over the place. There is a small room in the children's area for movies, etc., and the doors to the room are hand carved to look like an open book. Painted on the doors are the opening lines from children's books from Charlotte's Web to Harry Potter, to Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan! Wow! That's all I have to say about it!

We got up early on Sunday morning to make the 8 hour drive home in time for church. We made it with 45 minutes to spare, so we gathered our children, and tossed them into church clothes and made it on time!!! Alan's brother invited us to their house for dinner that night which was wonderful, since I didn't have anything planned.

While we were there, we found out that there had been a death in Alan's family. His cousin's family had gone to Lake Powell for a last summer blowout before the temps really start to drop, and they were having a great time. Their 3 year old, Kamberlie, was playing on the dock with her 6 year old brother, and he turned his back on her for a minute and when he looked again, she had disappeared. He figured she had just jumped on board their boat which was tied up at the dock, so he wandered back to camp. When evening came, and no one knew where Kamberlie was, the rescuers were called in. They searched the camp, no Kamberlie. They did what they could in the water with night falling, but couldn't find her. On Saturday morning, they began dragging the lake, and found her body. It has just about destroyed this family! Over the last year and a half, Kamberlie lost her great-grandmother, and her grandmother, and now Kamberlie! The family is just devastated!

Anyway, the viewing was last night, so Alan and I went to pay our respects. For what it was, it was a nice evening. However, I just cannot get the image of that tiny pink casket out of my mind! I just don't know how you get over something like that. So, I've been in a bit of a funk about that.

I have read everything posted since I left (I have to read everything), but I don't remember much. I'm thinking about all of you, and have missed you all like crazy! I so wish that I was going to WDW this weekend! I really need a happy place right now!
