thanks guys--i am feeling better, just not 100%...im going to head to work since i have no fever or anything...its just so early in the year to be out sick when i know i get sicker in the winter..so one of those days to suck it up and go!

I hope you start feeling better throughout the day! Today's one of those days for me, too - I could have easily stayed in bed!

I have hit a losing streak on eBay. I just need 5 more pins to get free shipping. Luckily the seller gives you 14 days to combine items so I have about 10 days left. If I can't win 5 pins in 10 days then something is wrong.:rotfl: It is fascinating to me to watch the trends in prices. It seems the people who have shown up to bid this week like to pay a lot for their pins, which is why I keep getting outbid! But I'll keep plugging away.

I'm sure you'll be back to your winning ways in no time. ;)

Good Morning DDA!

I am feeling a little bit better, not 100%, but maybe 50%. I have a feeling this one is here to stay for awhile.:sad2:

Sorry to hear that the news isn't better on the wellness front, Tom. I hope you're able to kick this thing soon!!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I thought so too! Leslie was up quite a bit with a nasty cough. Guess I'll have to refill her prescription strength cough medicine! I'm thinking a nap this afternoon!

Poor thing - more for her! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

It appears that my UTI has reappeared which means that it never actually fully went away. The doctor can't see me before my scheduled appointment tomorrow so hopefully she will call in a new prescription and get things rolling. The nurse said the last culture showed EColi :scared: so I really hope they give me something that will totally clear it up.

Yikes - the sickies are everywhere! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for you, Deb. I hope it's gone before you have to travel!

I'm giving my notice, now! I'm leaving tomorrow morning for New Mexico. I'll be back sometime Sunday. So, today will be taken up with errands, laundry and packing. I'll keep checking in, though. I hope you all have great days!!!

Pixie dust and prayers to all who need them!

Have a great trip, Glynis!

My sister stopped by our local farmers market yesterday and bought me a 1/2 gallon of apple cider.
No chemicals, no pasterurization, noting but fresh squeezed apples.

YUM!

Lindsay - I checked again this morning and they said the same thing - no standby allowed on an earlier flight without paying the difference in fare. But she did say that you could see if a Rewards flight opened up for an earlier flight though...But you never know what a gate agent will say!

OK everyone - tell me I did the right thing. I just booked our hotel stay (for our honeymoon) over at the Hard Rock Hotel. Club level, King bed at a rate of $245. Worth it? I've NEVER stayed concierge before. BUT given that we'll be getting off a cruise - with food and top service - going to a standard room and having to pay for everything OOP this might be worth the extra $40 a night.
Whatcha think???

Sounds perfect to me! Live it up & enjoy, it's your honeymoon :thumbsup2

YUM!

good recap Lindsay. SO I will say Ditto

Lindsay not sure if you get online while at work, but I sent you a PM!

Just sent one back! :thumbsup2

Thanks, Chanon! I called a few weeks ago to see if any seats had opened up, but the answer was no. I guess I"ll just keep calling, and if nothing opens up, decide if it's worth getting to the airport at the crack of dawn!

I forget - what all are you guys doing?

The $245/night is a steal, particularly when compared to Disney's concierge prices! :scared:

Chanon - I was thinking the same as Lindsay! $245 a night is what you pay for a standard room at Disney! Might as well go for the better service!:thumbsup2

I'm sure that you'll make up $40 a night in concierge services/food/etc. For that price difference I'd totally do it!

The $245/night is a steal, particularly when compared to Disney's concierge prices! :scared:

We are doing a four night Disney Cruise and then three nights over at Universal, including Halloween Horror Nights (The condition was if we go on a Disney cruise, he gets to do HHN's.)

The $245 a night gets us the following at the Hard Rock:
Deluxe King Room: Live large in one of our Deluxe King rooms. Equipped with a king bed, 400 square feet of living space and an adjoining study area, this spacious room is perfect for a couple’s getaway.
Access to "Club 7", our 3,500 square foot lounge located on the seventh floor
Additional room amenities include: cordless phone, evening turndown service & cotton signature bathrobes
Free access to health club
Personal concierge services to help with all your vacation needs
Complimentary coffee, tea, and soft drinks throughout the day
Continental breakfast served each morning (7:30 am - 10:00 am)
Hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine (5:00 pm - 7:00 pm)
“Evening Sweets” each night (8:30 pm - 9:30 pm)
Library of rock 'n' books
CD player with large selection of CDs available for checkout
Lounge open daily 7:30 am - 11:00 pm

...which I think is completely worth every penny just for the FOTL and the free coffee and soft drinks!

Hope Lucy feels better soon!
Thanks!!

ONE MORE WEEK, I AM SO EXCITED!

Are you excited or something?!?

Robyn, :wizard: for Lucy.

Thanks!!

Feel better soon!!

with all these 8 day countdowns, i feel like your all counting down to my bday--how sweet ;)

and with that, im off to work-have a great day all!!

You are very loved!!!

Good morning, DDA!

Hang in there, Robyn! I'll be here to wallow in self pity with you.;)
I used to tell Sister she had to have "quiet time". I would stress that she did NOT have to sleep, but she HAD to stay on her bed. She would choose books and sit in her bed. I would put the classical station on her radio and close her door and she would be out cold in 10 minutes. Not sure if that would work with Molly.

Nothing exciting going on today. Princess has school, the pest control guy is coming to fumigate. If Princess is awake and not grouchy we have playgroup at the park this afternoon. She only slept 50 minutes at school on Monday and by that evening she was crabby! Yesterday she slept almost 2.5 hours!:scared1: That NEVER happens.

I have hit a losing streak on eBay. I just need 5 more pins to get free shipping. Luckily the seller gives you 14 days to combine items so I have about 10 days left. Thanks! Well, she is in her room but she is not asleep. I can hear her singing to her lullaby cd, it's all instrumental. Go figure.

I will be wallowing in self pity with you next week!

I still owe you a PM, I'll work on that in a bit

Good Morning DDA!

I am feeling a little bit better, not 100%, but maybe 50%. I have a feeling this one is here to stay for awhile.:sad2:

Robyn, I am glad the girls liked their postcards. It took Leighanna FOREVER to pick them out! I am glad you got them o.k. I wasn't sure if I put enough postage on them.

Heidi and Janet, thanks for thinking of me!

For all of you leaving in just one week, I am not jealous at all! I really wish I could be joining you all!

Paula, many good thoughts and :grouphug: for you to get through this!
I am sure that you will do fine, and Bethie will go through it like a little trooper!

Soo cute, tell Leighanna she did good!!

Thanks, Robyn. I hope Lucy is getting better. My guess is that it's from all the drool going into her belly.

That's what her Pediatricia said.

well, that may explain why I had such a rough day yesterday!! :rotfl:

I love this! It is like children thinking you go to the bank to get stickers or lollipops, or even money that may not be in the account! :lmao:

I'm telling you there are days I can't seem to remember my own name. The kids have sucked just about all my brain cells out.

I thought she was so cute. She was so serious about it. I really can't wait!!

I ordered size 8. My shoe size varies from an 8 to 8 1/2. They fit perfectly. In hindsight I wish that I had ordered the Alice version with no holes as they would be better for Winter.

I tried them on and didn't like how they fit.

I thought so too! Leslie was up quite a bit with a nasty cough. Guess I'll have to refill her prescription strength cough medicine! I'm thinking a nap this afternoon!

Hope she feels better.

You need some miracle drugs to get you better quick!!

I bet you're right about the teething! All my kids did the same thing as they started. It was yucky!!! On the upside, teething didn't really bother any of them except Leslie. They never had any pain, or anything!

Molly started getting ear infections with each tooth which was like a never ending thing. But the only way I knew it was bothering her was she would wake up. She never ever fussed. Emma never had any issues teething.

I'm giving my notice, now! I'm leaving tomorrow morning for New Mexico. I'll be back sometime Sunday. So, today will be taken up with errands, laundry and packing. I'll keep checking in, though. I hope you all have great days!!!

Have fun!!

yes she has dropped. You all might have to just read through the posts to find out.;)

Well that could be fun!!

It wouldn't let me continue so I changed Lake Buena Vista to Orlando and it went through. Since I used Disney's Pop Century in the address line I think even the USPS can find it :rotfl:

I hope so :rotfl:

Yay - I'm glad you like them. I do think with them being narrower that they do a better job of keeping your foot in place, so maybe that will also help these be easy on your knees. :thumbsup2

Great idea!!!

Woo hoo!:woohoo: :woohoo:

So sorry you were craving chips - I hope you didn't float away last night!

I'm so bad - I bought some Halloween candy because it was on sale, and purposely only opened the bag with the candy in there that I didn't really like so I wouldn't be tempted. Of course, I discovered last night in a moment of desperation that I actually DO like some of that candy. :rotfl:

I hear you - I am so bleary-eyed today!

I'm sorry to hear that Lucy has been sick, Robyn. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for all of you!

Thanks Lindsay!

Sounds like a great deal!!

Jeff made a comment yesterday, that if I go into labor maybe Ill be at work. I reminded him that total labor with Olivia was 6hrs. I also told him that most 2nd labors go faster then first.

Grandma's procedure starts at 1:30 CST they said it could take as little as 30min. or as long as 3hrs. I hope is less as I have to drop Olivia off with my mom at the hospital. So the less the better. I am taking Olivia toys to play with but still their is only so much that can entertain a 4yr old at the hospital.

Jennifer - Would you want to go into labor at work?:confused3 Convenient, yes, but I think I would rather leave from home than walk down the hall and hop into a bed!:rotfl2:
My labor with DS was about 11 hours with Pitocin. If I had been going to work that day my water would have broken in the car on my way in, so I'm glad I wasn't working that day!:scared:

They could let her scrub in on some surgeries.:rolleyes1

no I don't want to go in labor at work. I also told Jeff that. As I am not sure he would remember to get everything from the house. I guess I really need to pack soon.

That sounds like a great deal. It's your honeymoon splurge a little.

So I made a HUGE mistake today. I got some DINGs for MHT to MCO. In all the excitement and with adrenaline pumping I cancelled our flights and rebooked for a Thursday morning flight and a later Sunday departure. I also saved $50 or so I thought. After that I added a room to our reservation and bought our MNSSHP party tickets for the 18th. Then I looked at the confirmation email and we were flying from MCO to MHT on the 18th and from MHT to MCO on the 21st. Obviously that is a HUGE problem. I made a frantic call to southwest and they could do nothing for me. I had to cancel the new flights leaving me with NADA, Nothing. I have since booked new flights getting us to MCO on the 18th at 12:30 PM (not a nonstop flight) and departing MCO at 8:30 PM on the 21st. So we have gained about 32 hours in Orlando for the mere additional cost of $342. Plus and extra hotel night and MNSSHP tickets:rotfl: :rotfl: Live and Learn. Oh well, we'll get to hang out with you all at MNSSHP. Could someone please post or email the shirt design that you all decided on and What color shirts are they going on. It looks like I'll be making shirts this weekend. Chanon had an extra 4:05 PM LTT reservation which she was kind enough to bequest to us so we will be dining at the same time as the rest of you.

Poor Janet called in the middle of my nightmare today. Janet, I swear that I am not usually so ditsy. It was nice talking to you and Chris and I are both looking forward to the Haunted Hayride. We will also join you for the Sci Fi dinner and since we are staying longer we may wait and do Fantasmic on Saturday as well.

So I would love to read itineraries if anyone has one.

Tammi, Blizzard Beach Saturday morning?

Are we still planning on Pleasure Island Friday night?

I really must plan now.

I think we will not get a rental car and just use Disney Transportation now so I guess I'd better book ME.

oh sure;)
Add to it all the poor thing has been sneezing and had a runny nose all day. I gave her a claritian around 11 but it does not seem to have helped yet.

I hope your grandma's procedure goes as planned, and I really hope it is successful! I imagine she is tired of being shocked for no reason!
:wizard: I hope Olivia feels better soon! Princess has had a little runny nose this week, too. I think it is allergies, and her dad keeps forgetting to give her Zyrtec before bed.
